Anyone anxious about Season 7?

I'm kinda anxious. I don't want the show to STOP (no real brony would) but... I really want the show to stop sucking. The new season 6 writers are really bad at writing.

I don't really think "anxious" is the wright word there, but I disagree with apparently everyone about season 6, and I'm more excited for the next season than I've been since season fucking 3 was on the horizon. I have other things to be more excited about in the short term, but in the long term, I really cannot wait to get more of this show. Season 6 had its issues, as all seasons do, but right now I think it's really going in the right direction, so I'm excited for what the show has to offer next.

I'm more optimistic than anxious right now. I think I enjoyed Season 6 more than the average person did here. Yes there were some episodes that I want to completely forget about, but a lot of episodes still had the characterization, humor, and charm that made me fall in love with the show in the first place.

 

Besides, Season 7 is still months away. It's not really on my mind right now, just because we haven't gotten any teasers or anything yet.

   I am optimistic for season seven, although I have little idea what it would compose of, I am eager to see many possibilities. One thing I wish to see is an ultimate villain showdown, with Queen Chrysalis fuming over the loss of her realm, she is simmering with a desire for revenge, so Chrysalis could team up with Tirek, who has his own grudge for the ponies, and to make things interesting they could bring back King Sombra, that could be a stellar set up for season seven. The mane seven would have to prepare for battle, all the while perform their civic duty to bring friendship to ponies and places that need it, I would also like to Scootaloo fly, now that she has her cutie mark, it would be nice to see her fly with Rainbow Dash, now that she is a Wonderbolt, finally, I think Celestia needs an episode of her own too, or at the very least, have an episode to both of the princesses, and how they interact with each other. What ever we get, I am fine with it, the seventh season still has potential, all they way to the MLP movie, moreover, I am still pleased with the direction the show is going, for there has been good moments, and I wish to be there with the fandom.

Season 6 was pretty fair, giving Rarity more appearances in the first half after not doing so in Season 5, and having Rainbow Dash catching up on her major roles after a long time since Rarity Investigates. And Pinkie Pie needed to lose some appearance time because in Season 5, she had the second-most after Twilight.

 

This season, Pinkie and Fluttershy are expected to hit the spotlight more than they did in Season 6, with Fluttershy possibly having more appearances than Spike, and Starlight with more dialogue/screen time than any or all of Applejack, Rainbow Dash or Rarity.

I suppose I should've pointed out in my original post that I hope the Rarity episodes are cut to a minimum. She had so many major roles in Season 6, and even though they were usually great episodes on their own I got tired of the lack of variety.

 

Really hoping we get more Fluttershy, though. I enjoyed her few and far between appearances last season.

To my mind what is worrying is the lack of hype. There are 2 major cons in January.  If we don't see some major info from the studio, then IMO it means Hasbro isn't taking it seriously & to me that is VERY worrying

I'm not particularly worried, but then I wasn't particularly worried in any of the other hiatus..us.. hiatuses? Hiati? What's the plural on that?

 

I think the correct plural is "Hunter X Hunter".

 

I'm not particularly worried. I'm just waiting and seeing. There's plenty of other cartoons out there I enjoy watching, if FiM goes downhill, it'll be a bit of a pity, but not the end of the world. Diversify your portfolio, it reduces stress.

I'm not because the hiatuses are getting too short now, but I'm still waiting for it and confident that it'll be as good as the former seasons have been.
