twilight sparkle says "people"

Um, there's something wrong with that?

In the world of Equestria, or at least whatever world Equestria is in/on, the only terms that canonically apply rightly to ponies is those with the suffix -pony. Like everypony, somepony, anypony, etc. "People" and "person" is used a lot in other cartoons that take place in other universes. Idk.

My journey in the fandom started on April 5, 2012. I joined here on April 24, 2012. Where that journey is headed now, who knows...

Oh Trollestia, I'll love to attend <3 Haven't had a moon banishment in a while though...*cough* I think I saw Applejack in league with Twilight *cough*

I did notice this at the time but didn't really care. I had thought at the time that they had said it more than once throughout the series anyway xD

I wouldn't read too much into it. It's probably used to refer to a wider range of characters than just ponies.

If I'm wrong, and it is implying that humans are canon, then... then...

Now we just have to figure out how to get there! :P

Reminds me of hogwarts and the other magical places in the harry potter series, only magic users could go to these places, and they were hidden from muggles.

Theres no problem with it, If i remember correctly some ponies have said people before.

It's not the end of the world xD

Now the real question is, when are we going to hear Celestia say bananas?

Edit: hmmm... my post is strikingly similar to the post above... lol.

I'd prefer to hear her say "Nuts!"

And I mean the meaning the British used for it in the 1940's.

mmmk... what?

Today nuts is used as a "clean" expression to display aggravation, if you wish not to curse.

In the 1940's, in Britain, it was used as an expression similar to that of "Go to Hell."

I would like to hear Celestia say that. ((NOT CANON))

Didn't Celestia say "people" when she was locking horns with Chrysalis?

Everypony in the show has said people at one point or another, possibly.

Just because they say people doesn't mean they are talking about humans.

People has more meanings than that, such as "Subjects of a King or Queen in rule."

I don't see the issue with the ponies saying people on occasion. It's not like it's humans they're referring too. And it's a more inclusive term since there are plenty of non-pony creatures.

If you want me to respond, please quote me.

I apologize for any inconvenience but for the time being my MLP stop motion project is on hold.
