In the world of Equestria, or at least whatever world Equestria is in/on, the only terms that canonically apply rightly to ponies is those with the suffix -pony. Like everypony, somepony, anypony, etc. "People" and "person" is used a lot in other cartoons that take place in other universes. Idk. 1 My journey in the fandom started on April 5, 2012. In the 1940's, in Britain, it was used as an expression similar to that of "Go to Hell." I would like to hear Celestia say that. People has more meanings than that, such as "Subjects of a King or Queen in rule."
