How I think the series finale for mlp will end

I do think that would be an interesting change. But I doubt it will happen. Unless they do it as the series finale. Sorry but I don't really have much to say about your . It's interesting and I don't really having anything that can refute it. But I do think I can add something. And that is how I think the series finale will go. I don't know anything specific. But I feel like it will end with Twilight and some of the other characters moving away. Maybe Celestia needs Twilight to come to Canterlot. And maybe Spike will go help Ember. Then maybe Rarity will go and move to a bigger city. Rainbow Dash might go on tour with the Wonderbolts. Pinkie Pie might become like Cheese Sandwhich and travel all over Equstria. Applejack would probably stay in Ponyville and Fluttershy might go to help the breezies or some other animals. Then maybe Starlight would either go and travel with Trixie or she would stay at the castle and take care of it while Twilight is away. In the second case Trixie might come live with her. Either Starlight or Twilight would freak out about her friends moving away. They'd get worried that they'd never see each other again. But before hey can address these feelings a big disaster comes up. So they have to deal with it. And it will probably be a story that has a large ensemble cast. Discord, Trixe, Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Shining Armour, Flurry Heart, and a lot more also. While they go and try and fix or stop whatever went wrong Starlight/Twilight will bond with her friends. And after they resolve the disaster they'll realize that even if their apart they'll always be friends. Then the rest will probably be like the season one finale. Where they'll just have a party and celebrate. I doubt mlp will have a dark series finale. Also I don't know why but I can't ink of the example I was basing this on. I know I've seen a similar story in a tv show before. But I can't think of its name.

i remember the tv show The Fugitive.  Series finale, Dr Kimble found the 1 armed man.  The Incredible Hulk, the tabloid reporter who was always hunting the Hulk (ICR the name & I'm too idle to look it up) was told to get some real evidence or quit writing that crap.  Last scene, the Hulk rampages through their office, the reporter turns to his boss & says "That good enough for you?" (or something like that -it's been 40 years)

So, in that spirit, I'd like to see them all ascend (at least the Mane 6)

Well actually, I think of the series finale to START OFF with the main characters' new lives, and I guess kinda forget a bit about friendship cause they're too caught up in their lives, but when a new evil force comes to Equestria, they gotta reunite, remind themselves why they were friends in the first place, and take out the evil! That would be an AWESOME finale! A time jump!

Also what I think the main cast would do is a little different from yours. AJ is now the head of a big cooperate Apple family business, so she's busier than ever! Rarity is also the head of a huge Carousel Boutique cooperation so she's also busy! Pinkie travels around Equestria throwing parties for ponies with Cheese Sandwich! Rainbow Dash becomes the new captain of the Wonderbolts after Spitfire either gets promoted or retires! Fluttershy now owns a huge pet shelter in Ponyville much bigger than what she used to have, plus she holds charities and such to help the animals out! Spike becomes Equestria's new ambassador and is hired by Celestia to make sure the peace between ponies and all their allies gets kept! The CMCs go from just a few of them, to like a hundred; the CMCs are now a nation-wide corporation! At the same time though, the CMCs do have other jobs to add into their crusader business - Sweetie Belle is a singer, and Scootaloo is a Wonderbolt Cadet (she might not fly with her simple wings, but she has her ways!). Starlight, like you said, now travels with Trixie. Now as for Twilight, she's still the princess of friendship, but now she's all alone, so she can't perform her duties the way she used to - and that's when the finale comes in to fix all that!

I don't really know how it'll end story wise, but I've always imagined the last part of the series finale being the storybook from the first episode closing and the words "The End" appearing on screen, while a bittersweet piano rendition of the end of the theme plays.

I've also just thought that season seven could be the mane size last big adventure. From what little I've gathers about season seven it sounds like that might be those case. Basically the season will focus on the mane six for the most part. And the finale will set up for season eight. And season eight might be a time jump. If they do a time jump I feel like the story will probably focus on Flurry Heart. Or it might be a new mane six. Where it's the children of the previous characters. Probably done similarity to Fuller House. Though I don't like time jumps. I do think they can work if their done right. But it's turned in to a trend for cartoon shows.

Well, I think it's best to deviate from the villain(s) attempting to make Equestria go bonkers, and instead go for a slice of life episode where the Mane6 face a more personal problem each. A bit like they did in Magical Mystery Cure, but better paced, and being a two parter

I want the finale to be a slice of life episode focusing on the future of our mane cast and how life is pulling them in different directions.

Twilight is getting more roles to play as a princess, Rarity would be considering moving to Canterlot full time to focus on her businesses, Rainbow Dash would move back to Cloudsdale in order to work more full time in the Wonderbolts or something.

Basically she would be trying to move forward in the ranks, and that would require going in a different path in life than her Ponyville friends.

Fluttershy would get some kind of job opportunity with the organization that was involved in the protection of rare magical creatures, and that would require her to travel a lot.

Mr and Mrs Cake would be getting ready to hand over ownership of Sugarcube to Pinkie Pie, and Applejack would be busy making Sweet Apple Acres more profitable or a larger business or something.

We would end up getting a flash forward into the future, where after not seeing one another in a while, the mane 6 and even Spike would discuss what has changed as a result of their time together and reflect upon their friendship.

I don't think it is possible to flashback into the future. You can flash-forward into the future, but not flashback.

Oops. :P

Thanks for catching that.

I meant a flash forward to the future.

But there could be flash backs of a few previous episodes in the supposed finale, I was suggesting.

At deviantart I made my idea and some kind of thing I hope to get.

When Celestia and Luna were prepared to go to their home, "he" showes up again. Nobody can defeat "him". So Celestia and Luna tried to blast him to the shadow world, but they are not strong enough and when he almost escapes again, Discord helps Luna and Celestia and defeat him. Celestia, Luna and Discord trow "him" in the shadow world, with consequence they will be trapped too. After a couple days it was Cadence who began to make plans with Twilight how to rule Equestria, now that they are the rulers.

If I don't understand something or Interpret it wrong, I'm dutch. Sometimes I gamble for meanings of the words. And sometimes I write the wrong words, like week and weak for example. Sorry for it already. :smug:

Discord, Twilight, Sunset, Fluttershy, Starlight, Rarity, Luna, Celestia, Big MCintosh, Cadence, Shining, Minuette, Lyra, Rara, Sweetie Belle, Cheerilee, Derpy, Spike.

I'm not sure if anypony here ever watched The Mentalist. Mid-Season 6 of that show was a time jump of several years into the future after a mostly consistent timeline. The main setting of the show was drastically different, moving from the California Bureau of Investigation in Sacramento to the FBI in Austin, Texas. Patrick Jane's character arc that had spanned for 5 and a half seasons was wrapped up and replaced with something fresh. That's kind of what I would like to see out of FiM for the last season or so; jump ahead years in the future for a fresh start that doesn't forget the roots of the series.

I've always wanted the final episode to end with the extended version of the theme. :)

Fringe has a somewhat similar tape each for the least season. They time jumped twenty years. But all that was going on was just a continuation of what happens from before.
