Just kidding that was mean but here it is any way.

The ending was pretty anticlimatic :/

Darker than black is another good one, the first season anyway.

Eeyup

I started watching Deadman Wonderland on Toonami last night. Man, that show has a lotta cussing.

I found it quite average, not really good, not really bad

By your command.

And I just realised where I recognised "Kohta" from, Elfen Lied. :D

:D I love that anime

I read the first half of the manga but haven't read the second half. Is the second half as amazing as the first one?

Yes it is. I've got up to episode 3 in the anime.

Where is everypony watching all this anime?

TV, YouTube, AnimeFreak (but it can be really slow), watchcartoonsonline, those sort of things.

Death Note is also a good one.

One of my favourite anime's of all time. Also the first manga I ever read.

I've had the DVDs for literally years, but I only just started watching "Magic Knight Rayearth" the other day. It's really cute, with funny and sad parts. I'm up to episode eight and am really enjoying it! Be warned though. The English dub it terrible to the point of making your ears bleed! Well, maybe not that bad, but the voice actors do a terrible job! It's like they just read the script cold, without looking at the animation at all. Luckily I like running the Japanese language track and reading the subtitles. Magic Knight Rayearth was a manga originally produced by the artist group CLAMP. In my opinion that's a sure sign of a good story! CLAMP also created one of my very favorites "Cardcaptor Sakura" and "Chobits"

Any good animes that are action-based and don't devolve into slice of life? I've watched Haruhi Suzumiya and Shakugan no Shana, but the plots became so boring I couldn't stand watching it.

I enjoyed the first season enough to end up buying the second season. :)

But the second season just got too boring after their same episode over and over thing

Now what type of action are you looking for?

It'll help some of us to point to a decent anime :P

Death, destruction, fighting, stuff blowing up :P. As long as there's usually a fight scene in each episode, it'll be okay. I'm going to try Neon Genesis Evangelion soon.

You'd really enjoy Black Lagoon and Darker Than Black methinks.

Hey Dylan, does the Gantz anime do the manga justice? Do they do full animations or do they do the Pokemon thing where there's no real animations they just use still backgrounds to simulate high speeds and such?

Does the anime stay faithful to the manga? I haven't read the manga in so long I barely remember anything. I'll watch it either way, I'm just curious. :P

CLAMP = one of the best manga artist groups. :D

I still haven't even finished Tsubasa or xxxHolic or even started X/1999 but I love their stuff. Really awesome artwork, great stories...man just awesome.
