Biggest What An Idiot moments?

What are some moments that a character makes a decision that makes you want to almost literally scream what an idiot they're being? For me, it's in Cutie Pox where Zecora leaves Apple Bloom, who is very hyperactive and mischievous even by CMC standards, alone and unsupervised in a room full of very delicate potions.

Yeah that happened to me but the parasprites when Fluttershy kept one for herself after knowing they reproduced like crazy...

 

 

Also in this last finale when Chrysalis was absorbing Thorax's love and he said 'I can feel the love inside me slipping away...!'
ughhh! that was such a weird an stupid line it made me cringe a few times.

Of the series so far, Snips, Snails, and Sunset handed VP Luna glued cut-on images of Twilight on top of backgrounds in hopes of getting her disqualified from the Fall Formal running. Even worse is VP Luna believed them and needed Flash to join in the conflict to help sort things out.

 

And for the show only, from Rainbow Falls:

 

RF, Act 3 is the worst section to be written in the entire show. This exchange epitomizes it. Clearly, RD is faking her injuries thanks to her awful acting. Yet, everyone completely believes her and treats her injuries seriously. They don't even write in an X-Ray scene "because plot."

I don't think some average guards could have stopped Starlight, she could have made herself invasible and Gone through the balcony in reverse of what she did in Where and Back Again. And Twilight did not know she neened the map, Starlight could just as well attacked in the middle of the street. But Twilight should have gotten guards after Starlight got it, it would have helped against the changelings maybe.

There's this amazing thing called EAR PLUGS and MAGIC that would've allowed Twilight to rest in peace, but before that...

Isn't Twilight supposed to be a great organizer? Why the heck didn't she manage her time better?

It's not like the Friendship Conference or whatever was a sudden thing - wouldn't they have months to get things ready?

 

S5-S6 Twilight is awful at her job and it's physically painful to watch her screw up this badly

The entire. Bucking. 2017 Movie. Nopony was smart the entire way through. Let's count the ways...

- Celestia doesn't fight back or run away from Tempest Shadow's minions.
- Luna does, but doesn't even try to dodge any orbs thrown her way.
- Pinkie Pie draws attention from every citizen in Klugetown.
- They don't even bother fighting off the residents of Klugetown with their abilities.
- They are way too trusting of Capper.
- Rainbow Dash draws attention with a Sonic Rainboom and nearly gets her new pirate friends killed.
- Twilight uses her friends as unwitting distractions to steal a pearl.
- Twilight doesn't apologize until her words and actions cause their friendship to fall apart.
- The other ponies just leave her there to be captured.
- Twilight never even tries teleporting out of her cage and just spams horn beams, then mopes about until she's rescued.
- The Storm King gloats to Tempest Shadow that he lied about restoring her horn.

And furthermore, considering this takes place between seasons 7 and 8, if you really stop to think about it, they have the changelings, the griffins, the yaks, the Pillars of Old Equestria, and they even have access to the Elements of Harmony again. And nopony thinks of asking them for help, why? They have absolutely no reason whatsoever to travel beyond Equestria to meet a race that was never mentioned up until this point.

The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone: Pinkie Pie throws down the entire rope when Rainbow Dash asks her. Also when PP decides to take the rope off the rock and dive in.

@SenorCornholio Its because the movie was written during S4-S5, without any real adjustment to fit the current development of the show, S7 sequel my flank  If they labeled this movie as S4 direct sequel or a standalone movie, the movie would make perfectly sense.

Rarity Investigates: Windrider coming clean. There was holes in Rarity's accusation he could have slipped through like no actual eye witness account putting him there at the scene.
