Why no teaser for S7?

Why do you think we haven't had a trailer or a teaser for S7 yet? Is it because Hasbro might be focusing on the movie?

To be honest, I was more disappointed that we didn't get a trailer for the movie.

With all of the information that was being announced about the characters, their designs, and their personalities, I thought that a trailer wasn't all that far away.

The trailer for season 6 did not come out until March either so season 7 teaser is not late.

 

I would rather have a movie teaser soon, Hasbro needs to market it well.

We got all this stuff for the movie but very little for Season 7 which is coming out sooner, we haven't even got news about what Starlight will do that season, whether she is the central character or not, I think they want to keep the season a secret until that time comes.

The answer is pretty easy honestly; They're trying to build Hype for the movie right now, NOT the season. The movie is a multi-MILLION dollar investment, and that's the most important thing, insuring its success.

If people are hyped for the movie, they'll probably stick around to watch S7 in the interim, but if they get hyped for the Season's toys and stuff, they might ignore the products for the movie, which would be a massive financial snafu for hasbro.

When Season 6 got a teaser trailer, it was only 19 days away from premiere on TV. To my knowledge, I think Season 7 will premiere on April 15-16, because this upcoming weekend, Discovery Family will be finishing off Season 4 repeats and moving on to Season 5, then in late March, to Season 6. So the teaser trailer will most likely appear late this month.
