ManaMinori 4,145 March 3, 2017 Share March 3, 2017 Personally, I would love to see the map call the mane 6 to a friendship problem where they have to teach somepony NOT to be a friend. Like in the case of a parent trying too hard to be a friend to their foal, when they need to be a parent; setting down rules, being a good example, etc.. (good example, also, of parents today trying to be their kids friends, rather than their parents). Which of the mane 6 do you guys think would be best fitted for such an episode? Do you think they'll have to bring their own parents along to help get the message across (we could always use more mane 6/ parent interaction time) 2 Under the Jellicle Moon- a site with cuteness, cat boys, and comic strips / Star Dreams Fanclub
Snowbound 17 March 3, 2017 Share March 3, 2017 I can't think of any other way it would work, but that parent angle sounds awesome. That's a really, really great idea. gamecubeguy214 2,512 March 3, 2017 Share March 3, 2017 Now we have a reason to make a married couple watch an episode of MLP Seriously though, I find this to be a pretty interesting idea. I definitely wouldn't mind if this were to happen. 1 Pennutoh has a gun
TBD 17,256 March 3, 2017 Share March 3, 2017 Sure I don't the problem with that since marriage and family (aside from world issues) the most difficult things to deal with. 1 ♪ "I practice every day to find some clever lines to say, to make the meaning come through"♪
BlueStreak98 828 March 3, 2017 Share March 3, 2017 An episode where they try to encourage less friendship? I don't think so. "I still believe that peace and plenty and happiness can be worked out some way. I am a fool." -Kurt Vonnegut
cmarston1 5,959 March 4, 2017 Share March 4, 2017 If there were to be a friendship problem with parents, I would like to involve Rainbow Dash's parents, given that we are going to finally see them this season.

Hierok 11,832 March 4, 2017 Share March 4, 2017 Well, that is a good idea, but do kids like that. They want their parents to be their friend. If I don't understand something or Interpret it wrong, I'm dutch. Sometimes I gamble for meanings of the words. And sometimes I write the wrong words, like week and weak for example. Lil Pip 775 March 5, 2017 Share March 5, 2017 (edited) If it is for the parents favor the kid may think the show is preachy because suddenly it restricts their perceived liberty, and if you offend the parents they will buy less mlp for you lol. So its a risky venture, but potentially worth it if it can resolve well on both sides and feel authentic. Edited March 5, 2017 by Lil Pip
Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,730 March 8, 2017 Share March 8, 2017 I think the episode should be the exact opposite. Instead, it should focus on a parent(s) that is far too strict, far too controlling and is too busy 'being a parent' to actually connect with their child and be a friend to them as well. Parental responsibility is something that is fairly obvious in this world, even if some people don't follow through with it, but some people might forget to connect with their kid. To be personal with them, rather than be in a state of 'parental obligation'. That is what I would want this to explore. Goes along with the theme of friendship nicely and gives us the parental problem.
