As you can see by my profile pic I'm a younger brony, which kinda sucks because I can't go to convenations and my parents hate bronies and told me to join this site because they don't want me talking to them about ponies

Welcome to mlpforums. Enjoy and Have Fun. Don't worry.....there are a lot of bronies that didn't go to conventions before like me, I haven't been to pony convention. I went to anime convention back in 2008 - 2010.

I can imagine how difficult it is for you. Having to hide in the closet even before your parents.  That's true liking and talking about ponies may be unsuitable at your and our age, but it doesn't do any harm either. However, the community has members from many different age groups, so various topics can be touched, thus I can understand why your parents are worried.
