Expanding Friendship Horizons

One of the great things to see in this show is how different characters interact! After six seasons and almost going to season 7, it would be really nice to see characters who barely or never interact to interact! Like Shining Armor and Cadance interacting with the Cakes the first time in S5E19, or Spike, Big Mac, and Discord sharing an episode together in Dungeons and Discords! Or even Starlight's team in To Where and Back Again! 

Don't any of you get tired of seeing the CMCs interact with their sisterly counter-parts non-stop without a break, or Spike only developing a close bond with just the same two ponies, or even AJ and Rarity being the two Mane Six ponies to share episode CONSTANTLY!?

There are so many other friendships that should be explored more in the series, like Discord and Trixie, the Cakes with Twilight, Shining and Big Mac, Spike with pretty much every character that's not Twilight or Rarity! XD I'd like to see him explore a deeper bond with characters like Starlight, Fluttershy, Thorax, Ember, and if possible, Scorpan!

I'm not saying these characters that they normally interact with should never interact with them again, but it would be nice to see an ongoing friendship explored between a character and another that hasn't been explored during their debuts.

Spike with other mane six ponies would be particularly great. RD followed him in "Dragon Quest," and he attracted Fluttershy's attention in the pilot, so why haven't they done much with him since? 

A lot of relationships seem relatively unlikely, but there are plenty more combinations s to be had than Rarity and Applejack for the millionth time. Even more diversity would be lovely.

just to name a few and don't use unless to sell toys.

come on hasbro step your shit up.

why bother having these diverse characters if you aint gonna use 'em.

Christ almighty I'm so freaking sick of this pair, they're episodes together are always so boring. They have other friends, let give them more episodes with others. Why not give Rarity another episode with Rainbow or Fluttershy for a change, or give AJ more work with Pinkie or Twilight?

Hell we still haven't had a RariTwi episode in this show at all

One of the things that I really want to see at this point in time with the show would to explore some new character dynamics for a change.

I mean that's why I ended up really liking episodes like Rarity Investigates for showing some new and unique interactions between members of the main cast for a change.

If the show wants to continue staying fresh, than I feel like this would be a nice way to spice things up for a change.

Plus there are still some interactions that we have yet to get,  I am still waiting for a Twilight and Rarity episode as well as a Twilight and Applejack episode.
