Should MLP have a season that's in the winter?

All the seasons(Refering to Season1-7 not litteral seasons) thus far have been mostly summer. Yea we have had a couple episodes in the winter but I think it would be cool if one season we had it be winter all throughout the season(Still talking about the complitation of episodes, not literal seasons). 

 

It would be a nice change in scenery as well as some great story plots for it to be winter all throughout the season. 

 

Thoughts?

Maybe not a WHOLE season, but a few episodes take place in winter. That's not such a bad idea!

They really do need more seasonal variation in the show. Off the top of my head, I can only think of 3 winter episodes out of more than 100:

- Winter Wrap-Up

- Hearth's Warming Eve

- A Hearth's Warming Tail

And 2 autumn episodes:

- Fall Weather Friends

- Tanks For The Memories

- You might be able to consider Luna Eclipsed an autumn episode, but it doesn't explicitly take place at the same time as Halloween in the real world.

All the rest are either spring or summer. Even then, Winter Wrap-Up revolves around the transition from winter into spring and Tanks For The Memories takes place as the pegasi get Equestria ready for winter.

Although i am fine with more Winter themed episodes, what do ponies in socks have to do with that. Why not ski suits and winter coats? The whole sock thing is sort of the pony version of lingerie for a great many fans so not sure how that would scream winter toys?

okay, I just like the idea of ponies in socks XD and no not like lingerie

Oh definitely more seasonal variety, but a whole season? Probably not. It just sounds odd to have a whole season dedicated to that, when show seasons are during several weather-seasons.

Winter is by far my favorite season ever, but having an entire running season be in winter would be a bit too much. What would be really neat is at least two episodes being in winter back-to-back. That would be new and it would add some variety too. I don't mind more winter.

Not really, I can only think of a few episodes that are during a season other than summer. Summer for the most part is where the show has taken place basically the entire series

I dunno about a whole season, but I wouldn't mind it if when winter rolls around next time, rather than just having one episode and then back to the usual look, maybe it stuck around for a while? 4 or 5 episodes maybe. It'd be cool to actually see the show get a bit more consistent with the passage of time, and see the seasons change and those changes stick around for a bit.
