The siblings laughed "I guess you know our dad then." Woody added "Don't worry I'm not evil. My names Actually Woodland Orchestra but you can just call me Woody. Now then with that out of the way I'll excuse myself for now I need to think of where the elements would be located." He stepped into another room and closed the door.

Maple laughed "Sorry that meeting was kinda awkward. Guess I should have warned you about that." She sighed looking around at the state of things. Where's techno. I'm starting to get worried about him now.

When Woodland Orchestra left, Muddle seemed much more at ease. "No, really it's my fault. I suppose that one of the things I could have asked about." She looked around, and had a seat at a near by table. "I've heard about about Discord reforming, but I always thought if I ever saw another dragonequus..." She passed a hoof through her head and tried her best to seem optimistic about being near a dragonequus, "Guess that will take some getting use to."

When Maple sighed and begun looking around the room, Muddle followed her gaze. Without Woodland Orchestra in the room, she had a second chance to properly examine the base. It felt cozy, but lacking in some aspect. It seemed like it was meant to house more ponies than there currently were. "A lot more in my opinion," she heard a familiar whisper in her ear, "You noticed it too..." "Where is everyone?" 

It was at that time Muddle noticed Maple's worried expression. She looked at her and asked, "Is there something wrong?"

She heard her question and kept looking around for a minute before saying "It's nothing important. A friend of mine hasn't returned yet and I'm fearing the worst but that's how it is sometimes."

A pony came over and handed Maple some documents to read over she sighed. "Mission reports for you Commander Maple." The pony said. "The army should return in a few days it's good to see you safe."

"Yes, I know thank you." She sat down at the table to start going over them. "If you don't want to be part of the rebellion then now's the time to leave." She said the last bit with emphasis "However something tells me you're interested. Especially given this" She showed Muddle a report on one one of the elements, the element of chaos, She pulled it out of her bag and set it on the table. "As I said before we're going to win against Sombra and Chrysalis but we could use some help."

Muddle wasn't quite sure how to respond. She seemed so accepting of the facts, something that she herself in the past proved incapable of doing. "I suppose so... What going on here is quite dangerous after all." With that said, she turned her attention to the rebel that was making his way over to the table. He had a number of documents in his hooves, and presented them to Maple. The only thing that was curious about this exchange was what he called Maple.

"Commander?!" She had no idea that she speaking to such an important figure in the resistance. All of a sudden, Muddle wasn't sure weather she should bow or stand at attention. She found a middle ground by straightening her posture, however, this just resulted in her struggling to keep her balance. "There she goes making a fool out of herself again... At least we know where everyone is."

When she presented the stone and reports, Muddle's eyes were filled with disbelief. This was an actual element of Harmony. The same item that Twilight and the others had used in the past to save Equestria time and time again.

"But why me?" As she finished asking that question, Muddle lost her balance and fell backwards. "Ouch..." She stood back up and looked at Maple, "Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Sombra and Chrysalis out of power, but..." Before she could finish, she heard an all too familiar voice in her ear. "Stop doubting yourself on this one." She wasn't sure what was more shocking, the fact her shadow had something nice to say or that it cared, "Don't take this the wrong way, you said it yourself, this beats waiting around on our hind legs. Besides, that element of harmony provokes a couple of questions." Close enough to nice I suppose.

Muddle went silent, possibly in contemplation.

Maple knew why Muddle had fallen over "You don't have to treat me special." She said "I'm only a commander because I inspire ponies to do their best. Woody handles most of the strategy and planning, which is commanding."

"Is that voice yours?" Maple said and waited for Muddle to flinch before saying "I never said I turned the spell off." Maple moved the hair out of her left eye and the white part was orange since she was using magic. "And it's not an element of harmony." She said looking at it. "It was created to combat the elements of harmony aka the only thing that could defeat him. We don't know who made it but I've been its bearer since I was born. That's all we really know, well except I do a lot of damage when I put it on... the problem is I have no way to tell right from wrong." She looked upset saying that. She still regretted putting it on the first time.

Ennex had left the empty floor where he had faced Techno, and had returned to his office on the top floor of the tower.  This was his public office, where he met with the various officials that ran the city, his businesses, and his criminal operations.  He had received a large amount of data from his link with Techno, and needed time to process it....

Techno continued walking down the hallway for quite a while until he arrived at Lift 9. The elevator had had it's cables cut so Techno levitated himself up the elevator shaft and put himself down at the top. He also took all the changeling guards and Ravage up with him and they were now in the everfree forest. The rebel base was only a few meters away in front of them...

For a moment, Muddle was at a loss for words. She stayed silent, carefully thinking about what she would say next. Eventually she decided upon, "What voice?" It was followed by a smile that wasn't fooling anyone.

After witnessing Muddle make a fool out of herself again, Her shadow sighed and thought to itself, "Remember to never do anything even remotely nice for Muddle ever again."

Muddle was going to continue attempting to dig herself out of the pit she created, but she refrained from speaking when she saw how hurt Maple looked. Based off what she had said, Muddle could easily piece together what was upsetting her. "..." 

Muddle gave Maple a moment, before placing a hoof on her back and telling her, "It's going to be alright." Her voice, normally frantic, sounded calm and comforting. "I might not know the full scope of what happened, but a very wise pony once told me something important, when I was feeling like you probably are right now... Just because something's dark and scary, doesn't mean its owner is." She couldn't see it, but Muddle could feel the piercing glare her shadow was probably giving her; however, she ignored it and focused her attention back on Maple, "Hey, about that voice... There's someone I'd like you to meet."

(I suppose a changeling army invades before we get the chance to finish this conversation? Makes for an interesting cliffhanger I suppose.)

Ravage studied the area, the thick forest brush keeping most of their surroundings hidden from view.  He signaled his twelve guards to spread out, and waved at Techno.  "Call to your comrades, so they come out.  Then we'll capture them all..."

Techno's eyes were still flashing (Maintenance mode) and the rebels could still see it when they emerged from the base...

When Maple heard that voice she flinched "Techno?" She looked at Muddle "That's the friend I was talking about earlier." She stood up and hide her element again. This time however something in her gut told her she'd need it she wondered why she would but she went with her gut anyways. She walked by Yang as well "Hey, Yang Stay in the base please." She said "We'll need to do a combat introduction to see how trained you are later." She then continued towards the exit

Woody stepped out and walked over next to Maple "Whatever Techno might have found might have a huge impact on my planning so I'll need to go with you..." He paused "I wonder however why he isn't bringing whatever it is in here must be big."

The two siblings step out to meet their friend. Maple saw something wrong with techno but wasn't sure what it was so she walked over to him "Techno! I was worried about you." She saw that it said Maintenance mode in her eyes but wasn't sure what that meant.

Ravage watched from where he and the changlings were hidden behind some thick bushes, as Techno called out to his friends.  Now we will see is my master's faith in this criminal is justified, he thought.  

Suddenly, two of the rebels, the bat-pony and the dragonequus had emerged from their hideout.  He tensed as she greeted Techno.  A quick wave to the guards, and they spread out, ready to leap in and seize the rebels....

When Maple heard Techno's response her pupils shrank. She glanced around quickly before looking at her brother "Woody! Defensive plan: Time." She looked back at techno "What did Ennex do to you."

Woody nodded and stepped back. Waiting for something or someone to attack her. Ready to execute the plan.

With a shout, all twelve changling guards rushed out of the bushes and charged at the three rebels, coming at them from three sides...

Maple saw the changelings before Woody did. "Woody! NOW!" She shouted

Woody nodded and his horns started to glow. After a few seconds He froze time except for only Maple and himself allowing Maple to catch the changelings off guard with a spear when she got close to them he unfroze time the Maple knocked two of them over and killed the third. Using that much energy probably made him waver She thought moving to engage the other changelings

Woody was panting over by the entrance to the base I did it... That was new He thought to himself

Papers and maps, some new, some old, some very old, littered the floor surrounding his desk.  Others were piled on the desk, scattered around in no particular order.  Off to one side of the room, he was hunched over a chest, tossing random scrolls and more papers over his shoulders.  "No...no....no...no..." he keep muttering to himself.

Suddenly, a random voice filled his mind, throwing him off track:  So Ennex what should I do next?

It took him a moment to realize it was Techno, still communicating through their link.  Capture the rebels! he thought back.  Bring me their leader, eliminate the rest.  Knowing his message was sent, he resumed his search.  "No.... no......no......"

More scrolls were scattered, as he lost his concentration.  This is growing tiresome, he thought to himself.  The information he had gained from Techno's mind was part of a puzzle, and now he needed to find the remainder.  I have other things to do, let Ravage handle this.  He took a deep breath, and sent a message back to Techno: Fine, do whatever is necessary.  Give the leaders to Ravage, and eliminate the remainder.

TU: Commencing operation now. Also Ennex the leaders themselves will also be terminated but everything in their minds from short term memory to permanently imbedded information would be saved into my system so you would still have everything you need. Just simply open the information on your computer and search up the questions you need to know the answers to and all the answers would be already right in ffront of you. Ravage we've been ordered by Ennex to download their minds and delete the rebels here from existence. I'll be doing the essential work and all you have to do is restrain the rebels and keep them still so I can do my work for Ennex.

 

Techno then looked at Maple with a very disturbing look. Techno's eyes then turned to red Changling eyes and there was a sense that Techno was now the terminator...

This is when Techno truly showed to be an unstable weapon. He started to walk towards Maple with his eyes locked onto him. Techno then used magic to lock Maple's legs in position and it looked like Techno was charging his final magic attack that would finish Maple...

 

(This is just before Techno escapes maintenance mode and returns to normal operations. He then will start to fight of the changeling army and Ravage.  )

While the remaining guards surrounded Woody, Ravage watched from his hidden position as Techno captured Maple.  With a little luck, he wouldn't have to reveal himself, and the reprogrammed android would do all the work....

Techno then stopped right in front of Maple smiling with an evil grin...

 

TU: It's time your removed from existence!

 

Techno then toggled the system to take Maple's mindset and delete him but just as he did it the beam targeted Techno instead of Maple. The hidden protection system in Techno was now taking effect. When the beam zapped Techno he was thrown back from the blast to then smash through several trees before he came to a stop lying down against a tree. His eyes then glitched out with blue pixels only for his eyes to display: SYSTEM QUANTUM OVERLOAD. COMMENCING EMERGENCY RESTART. His eyes then went black for a few seconds and then they went to the normal Alstrome boot-up screen. His eyes then went to normal and he got up and he looked directly at Ravage with a very threatening look. Meanwhile when Techno had the impact Ennex was sent tons of random data and it was thousands of times more than he could handle. It knocked out Ennex's mind for a moment with an extremely chronic headache and then Ennex completely lost his connection with Techno...

 

TU: Ravage! What did you use me for!? You made me do things that I was never made for and it's time you know WHAT YOU DID COULD OF KILLED EQUESTRIA!!!
