spoiler S7 EP13 synopsis is confusing

Several synopses were released today, including that of episode 13, The Perfect Pear, the long awaited episode about Applejack. Apple Bloom and Big Mac's parents. The synopsis is as follows: "The Apple Siblings learn about their parent's love story and find out that they're half Pear." Apple Bloom, I can understand being as young as she is. According to Jim Miller, during the time period of the flashback in Where The Apple Lies, Apple Bloom had not been born yet, with Bright Mac and Pear Butter being on a couples' vacation. Applejack and Big Mac were in their mid to upper teens at this time. So, while Apple Bloom was too young, wouldn't Applejack and Big Mac remember that one of their parents was a member of the Pear family?

That being said, it is just a synopsis... I am sure they know about their relations already, but perhaps do not know the entire history of it. Of it is possible it was hidden from them.... who knows?

I mean they could have had a sitter take care of baby Apple Bloom when they were away, but I can't really explain away the rest.

Maybe they forgot? I am now confused too. Since she has the same parents as AJ and Big Mac, I guess they would be older. Something this obvious though will be addressed somehow, but I wonder how that will work out.

Wouldn't learning about their parents love story imply the three siblings will learn about how their parents actually met? It sounds like Granny Smith is finally ready to tell them about it.

Obviously someone is telling Aj and BigMac and Applebloom a story that happens before they were even born. Big Mac and Aj could only remember if their parents were dead or not but they can't remember how they met and fell in love. D'oh

My guess is that it is a branch of the family that the 3 have never met. Perhaps they reside somewhere in Equestria they have never visited. Which, that could give them a reason to go to that part eventually which I love that potential establishment. Then again I am a nut for world-building. XD
