A Question about the Pony Techno Music

There are a lot of people who make electronic music. But if you name it after a pony, or say "THIS EPISODE INSPIRED ME TO MAKE A SONG, SO IT'S A PONY SONG", does it really make it a song about a pony? I mean, there are no lyrics and stuff like that. It's just an instrumental, in my opinion.

Yeah I know. But that really is teh truth. And if it has a ref to ponys in it, that makes it pony music aswell. Like in 20% cooler. At first it just sounds like a normal song but there's some refs to Rarity in the lyrics.

I disagree. Music, regardless if it contains lyrics or not, invokes certain emotions or thoughts. When someone makes a song that is inspired by MLP, or inspired by a character from the show, they are expressing the feelings they get from the show in musical form. So yes, it is still pony music without lyrics.

letterONE pretty much answered the question, but I have one thing to say.

Not all electronic music can be considered "Techno".

Techno is more.. Pop-y than most electronic music.
