He stood there like an automaton, not saying anything further or even lifting a muscle.

Supersonic looked a little worried. "Are you OK, Elyysios? Are you hurt?"

"I am fine, the only thing that has managed to get hurt is my purity." Elyysios said with a dark undertone.

He still stood there waiting for their next course of action, Elyysios would normally follow orders of Chapter command, but without that factor being present, he could no longer fulfil that action as there was no one in his chapter's to even give him an order in the first place.

Clover spoke up. She had remained on the ground the whole time, unable to muster up the courage to take flight due to her ongoing phobia of heights. She wondered if the others found it odd that she hadn't taken to the sky, but wasn't about to say why unless somepony asked her.

"Maybe we need to take a break for a moment," she said. "The enemy will be expecting us to attack again soon, so if we don't, then we keep them guessing. In the mean time, we can send out spies to scout out the enemy so that we can get the big picture. That will make it easier for us to launch an assault, cuz we will know the enemy's weak spots. I will strengthen the wards around our base too so that we don't get taken by surprise."

The magical wards that Clover used as defence were very useful; while a concentrated assault would eventually break thru them, the instant the wards were attacked, an alarm sounded loudly inside the base so that everypony knew what was happening and could arrange a defence before the wards were breached.

"An efficient decision."  Elyysios said to Clover with a complimenting tone.

He then started heading back towards the site of the crashed strike cruiser.

But surprisingly he did not wait up for anyone else, he just strode with a fast pace back towards his encampment.

Supersonic nodded fervently. She had been wanting to hear a pony speak that had strategy, and Clover had it. 

"Sounds good to me! I have been combatting the Hydra under the orders of the Princesses the longest, and I know what their strategies and formations are. Clover, you truly have the mind of a strategist!"

Elyysios walked towards their encampment.

He walked inside the Strike Cruiser.

Elyysios sat down as Multiple servitors started working on the repair rites of his armour.

He took off helmet, showing a big human head, he had a bald head and his face was covered with battle scars and some augment devices that were attached to his head.

Supersonic flew down and landed neatly, and then opened the leather pouch that hung from her side (not much bigger than a hoof) and removed a model ship the size of a dog, a queen size bed, a portrait of Princess Celestia, and a toothbrush. She put the model ship and the portrait back into the bag, and then righted the bed and brushed her teeth. "Anybody need anything? I've got six more beds in here!"

(And yes, Supersonic has a pocket universe bag)

Clover picked a spot for herself, just big enough for her sleeping place and a few of her most treasured possessions, then busied herself putting up wards all around the camp. Soon, the camp was surrounded with invisible barriers which would allow anypony with good intentions thru, but would appear to be like a brick wall to intruders.

"Hey Clover! Could you use your magic to figure out where the heck in Equestria my magical equipment comes from? I found all of it at the Hydra castle, and since then it's become like my signature fighting style. I have dual shortswords that shoot blasts of energy, a crossbow that shoots bolts of energy, and rare, ancient Avatar armor. All three components are a set." (The energy is purple)

Hasdiel was interfaced into the strange robotic creature. His mind impulse unit streamed lines upon lines of data directly into his brain. The code was hard to decipher, very much different from the many machine spirits Hasdiel interacted with over the decades. Damage reports flooded in and a big timer was counting down. 

Hasdiel determined he didn't want to be interfaced when that timer hit 0. After a short while, he broke contact with the creature to find himself almost alone. Vox logs dictated that Elyssios had returned back to the destroyed cruiser. The logs also mentioned the combat that he had with some foul xenos creatures. 

A brick wall was now nearby that Hasdiel knew wasn't there before. "Brother Elyssios, I have located a strange phenomena. A brick wall has appeared in a location near my current position. Orders?"

"Do not be alarmed Brother Hasdiel, one of the Xeno's has placed some sort of magic that seemed to create this brick wall as a defensive method, you should be able to enter."

"Tough I would like to discuss what our plans will be for eventually, especially after the events of the Badab war, our chapters have been throwing into turmoil, and the High Lords of Terra have no doubt declared us all as traitors and renegades at this point." Elyssios voxed back with great concern.

When Supersonic offered up beds Maple refused, they where sleeping in a forest after all. She took off her armor and leaned it and her bow against a nearby tree.  She spread her wings and landed on a branch she wrapped her tail around the branch then allowed herself to fall hanging her upside down. "I have no idea why this is so comfortable but it is so I'm gonna sleep like this." She said yawning. She was tired from not only the fighting but forcing herself to appear so strong.

"I would be surprised if we weren't declared renegades after the war. Your Chapter Master, Huron, did say that the High Lords were corrupt," Hasdiel said coldly. His voice lost it's capability to show emotion long ago. "I still believe we can still serve the Emperor. We just can't do it under Terra's rule any longer."

Hasdiel held his position and tried to determine what was behind the barrier ahead. "Do you wish I return to the cruiser for debriefing?"

"Your words tell reason Techmarine, while the enemies of the Emperor still draw breath, there can be no peace." Elyssios voxed.

"And it would be preferred if you returned to the strike cruiser, i will need your knowledge on the revival of  Ancient Kleitor, if we are going to be acting as independent chapters from the Imperium, we will need every strength we can get." Elyssios said in the vox, referring to the Venerable Dreadnought that was in stasis still somewhere inside the strike cruiser after the events of the Badab War.

When the timer hit 0 Techno's eyes flashed blue for a split second to then go completely black. There was then a buzzer noise from Techno as his eyes displayed: UNKNOWN ERROR BOOTING. ATTEMPTING TO RECOVER SYSTEM... (WARNING: SYSTEM SECURITY WILL BE AT 0% DURING THIS PROCESS!)

While Maple was asleep. She dreamed about her past before she was a guard. Before Living in the castle of the 2 sisters. This particular dream of hers happened when she was around 10. It was Nightmare Night. The one night where she could go to ponyville with out being driven out by scared ponies. This particular nightmare night though word of her existence had traveled far and wide. Now she was being stalked by a Monster hunter pony who wanted the glory for getting rid of her...

 

Meanwhile,

The Equestrian army was on their way back to canterlot since there where no more incidences that required their attention. They marched their way past the forest after their commander had told them things where ok. The path back to Canterlot was quite a long one but the army was ready to be back to the castle safe and sound.

When the patrols were marching, suddenly 3 red bright flashes could be seen in the distance, and a loud chant echoed among the forest.

I am Alpharius.
I am Alpharius.
We are all Alpharius.
We are Alpha Legion, and we are all one.

3 Bloodhounds jumped from the bushes and started charging at the Equestrian patrol with an extreme bloodlust and frenzy, the warp radiating from their very presence.

The guard hadn't thought much of the flashes of light, but when 3 large creatures attacked them half of them drew their weapons and attacked while the others either tried to run or where too stunned to react immediately. Those of which who did attack had no formation or strategy to it save the idea of, kill the beasts. After a bit those who had not yet reacted finally engaged the enemy as well. There where still only a few ponies who attempted any form of strategy those who did seemed to fair better but most of the combatants just rushed the enemy since their commanders weren't present.

While the guards were having trouble defeating the assailants, there were still some who managed to at least keep some form of survival, but that was soon enough squandered.

While the guards were distracted and attacked by the Flesh Hounds, a large group of cultist charged the guard ponies, let by an Aspiring Champion, his Power sword crackling with energy.

The cultist was mostly used as fodders or meatshields to charge against the enemy, but against the guard ponies, they were rather lucky than their usual fates.

After being charged by the cultist and a strange looking human with a crackling sword. Most of the guard ran with most of the ones you ran from the beginning with the pegasi not flying and unicorns not teleportation just in case they needed to fight once again. The highest ranking pony who was just under captain Maple stepped up and called for them all to enter a few phalanx formations to help better retreat. The army needed to warn the princess if the Humans assault.

 

Meanwhile back in Maples dream.

She was walking around in Ponyville Looking at all the ponies that had dressed up. She had been complemented in her costume as well, She thanked them when they did, Even though it wasn't really a costume. She felt so normal just talking with ponies not being ran out of town or screamed at her.

All went well until she went nearby sugercube corner. A pony near there waved at her and asked that she ditched the costume. Maple shook her head "I... I'd rather not."

"Oh come on" The pony responded tugging her wings thinking they where fake "Do you actually... think... Your a real bat pony?" The pony had the usual reaction to the Vampire Fruit bat. They screamed.

The hunter was looking for her and then heard a scream "Found you." He whispered to himself as he walked over to the scared little pony

When the formation was created, the Equestrian guards had a compact defence, but the chaos forces didn't seem to care one bit, the cultist charging into the formation like madman.  The anspiring champion followed this example as he charged Straight for their leader, forcing back anypony who stood in his way.

"I will feed you to the warp itself maggot!" The champion roared.

Suddenly, above the chaos of battle, stormclouds crackled and a lightning bolt struck a cultist, frying him. Pegasus ponies in silver and gold armor attacked the cultists and the human with the sword, and quite a few cultists were struck down before the Pegasi were driven off. 

(I'm referring to a small force commanded by Supersonic, composed of stormbringers and sky knights)

A closer examination of the extended version of Supersonic's backstory has shown that a minor change to the identity of the Pegasi is in order.

The temporary leader drew his weapon. A large spear only he as an earth pony could wield however when he flicked the weapon the blade grew longer shifting to become a large sword, He gripped the weapon he heaved the weapon over his shoulder swinging the large weapon over his shoulder attempting to smash it into his opponent. The pony's swing was so great that his own helmet almost fell off during it, he was a deep blue pony with a lighter blue mane. "I cannot allow you to Threaten Equestria!" He said as some of the cultist got fried by the storm bringers "Get ready here they come again."

The army. nodded to him "Sir. Yes Sir."

The aspiring champion stood ready as the big sword clashed against the pauldron of his power armour, while it was not able to penetrate, it did leave a rather big scratch on the impact, wich was a massive thing on its one from a weapon that wasn't meant to penetrate power armour.

The champion kicked the leader in the ribs with his boot, making a sickening crack, but as he were about to finish off his opponent the storm cloud hit his armour, this time his armour give an indicator, warning of the dangerous effects that were coming from the thundercloud. The champion roared in anger as he started firing at the clouds with his bolt pistol, tough he didn't manage to hit any of the targets because he couldn't see them (the champion was not wearing a helmet, thus not having an auspex scanner inbuild.)
