It's way too hot, way too bug infested, way too disaster prone, way too religious, and the leadership is laughably bad. (would be literally laughably so if they weren't so harmful). Looks like I'll be leaving soon for the great state of Connecticut! =) (far from perfect, but I look forward to living in a state of which I don't despise in every single way). I don't really have an issue with the people or state itself as much as I do the dysfunctional and literally corrupt state government. Pretty much every year we have a new corruption scandal involving high ranking state politicians being bought out or breaking the law. It's great. I need four seasons. But compared to where I currently live and Texas, I'd rather live in California solely because of the politics.
