Ever watch an older show or movie that had them use technology or make a reference to something that was current when it was made, but over time has become dated? What are some examples?

Yeah maybe MLP is a slight reference to this as it's basically using an animation technique that was created back in 2010. So yes nothing in the animation for the show has improved since 2010 but still the animation for the show was actually highly above average back in 2010 but it's only now starting to become a little dated.
