How you became a fan of My Little Pony

I always loved the powerpuff girls, both shows have great art and writing.

Hi every pony! I'm new, so a little about me. I love MLP obviously, especially the equestria girls movies. I collect equestria girls, some regular ponies too.  I like all kinds of animation, love video games and art. I collect comic books and dolls. I'm a big sailor moon fan. Nice to meet you ponies!

OMC you guys are the nicest. Which is your favorite? I love Rainbow rocks, I've probably seen it 10 times, I love the songs in it, and the rainbow rocks dolls are my fave ones.

YAY! :yay: I think my favorite movie is the very first one, "Equestria Girls". That movie started my whole adventure with MLP. I never watched MLP before, but that movie, that was aired on TV, changed everything, probably because of that cafeteria song, that got stuck in my head. :derp: I have good memories from that movie... :) I've watched Rainbow Rocks soon after that and loved it as well. I really liked both to be honest and I ended up watching them more than 10 times each, within two weeks! :D ..yeah, long story. :P 

The songs are great, I totally agree. :) 

I wanted to buy some EQG dolls, but the ones I saw very pretty weird. In the movie the girls appear natural, in the merchandise however... tons of make-up doesn't make them look like they should in my opinion. :P I saw some normal dolls on the internet though, so perhaps someday?

Could you show me your collection? Just of curiosity. :P You don't have to if you don't want of course. :rarity:

These are my girls still in the box I put my loose figures and bigger stuff away to make room for holiday decor but ill try to dig them all out of my closet and do a group pic of my whole collection.

Thanks for the welcome! I was just listing to rainbow rocks today while moping the kitchen and got real into it. I love how dancable and upbeat their music is. Rainbooms forever, go canterlot!

Heh yeah, that's what I meant by saying, that some of those are pretty weird. :derp: Hm- maybe not weird, but not accurate, that's what I meant. They look totally different than in the movie, so it just feels slightly weird to me. Nice collection though. :)

Oh yeah, those are super cute. I just put a few of those in my amazon cart actually. Those were not available when I started collecting EQ girls unfortunately. I get that people don't exactly love the old EQ girls but I love all the color used on the dolls, they stand out so much, and I love their stylized clothing. The minute I saw them I knew I was done collecting boring old Barbies, that's for sure. If I had any complaints about the line it would be the lack of clothing options, it's basically if you want another outfit buy another doll. I wish They sold outfit packs, I would especially love holiday outfits like nightmare night and hearthswarming stuff.

I see, though as for me, showmovie-accurate dolls would be more than enough.--- preferably the design from the very first movie - not rockstar approach (such as ones from Rainbow Rocks), just them as normal characters, in their original clothing. :P Considering my gender, changeable clothing and that kind of stuff probably would be a little bit too much science for me, if you know what I mean-- soooo I can't complain there. :derp: 

Nevertheless, I know what you mean, I can imagine that. :)
