Notifications

I get notifications on the forums and notifications on e-mail as well.

I used to get an email for every PM. But after I had a couple of really long conversations, my mailbox was full of them and I had to disable the notifications. Now I only seem to receive emails for friend requests (though I don't check that email very often).

I don't have any e-mail notifications activated. And the only on-site one I have deactivated is this one:

That's literally the only notification that makes things overwhelming for me. Most areas aren't relevant for me, especially the forum games. Using streams, I can quickly skip the irrelevant topics. Or quickly check the status posts when I'm in a hurry, since these are the most important ones.

I only get an email notification for when I get a friend request or a personal message. Just so I can see them quicker. Didn’t want anything too overwhelming.
