Is Black Gryph0n a conservative?

So I've seen him on twiter and I noticed he likes some 'questionable tweets', some which involve criticism of leftist and on instagram, he follows a website called conservativecanucks, which seems pretty bigoted. I'd be lying if I said this didn't bother me as a minority, things like that are extremely harmful towards various minority groups and reek of bigotry and seeing as somehow, he's viewed as a cast member, it's kind of disheartening.

I can say the exact same thing about Tara Strong who spouts quite socialistic sounding bigotry. As a supposed majority, it really bothers me (not really).

Meh. I hold both progressive and conservative views. My enjoyment is usually not predicated on the views or actions of the people responsible for the things I enjoy just because I disagree with their politics or find their actions abhorrent. 

I kept eating at Chick-fil-A. I still enjoy the Cosby Show. I am not tossing out my Kevin Spacy films. And I certainly don't care one lick what Gabe's political ideology is.

Same here. I voted Trump, don't really care for him, but I wouldn't doubt Hillary might have some good ideas.

I don't think regulation is the solution to all problems, but some it is. I don't care if someone is supportive of either side.

dont let the partisan political bush beat you into unfollowing people whos content you enjoy. Basically, dont let politics get in the wqy of anything. Liberal, conservative, alt right, whatever. If you enjoy his content, then enjoy it.

It's a bit of an unfair assumption on my part, but I've seen him in a number of different reaction videos (either Bronys React or Military Bronys React) with a number of guns in his room. On it's own that does not mean much and IIRC he was/is in the Navy, but that was my assumption.

It isn't that unfair. Veterans voted Republican by a 2-1 ratio, and I believe active duty military voted Republican 3-1. The odds were in your assumption's favor.

Why do you care so much which side of the political spectrum some guy on the internet happens to stand on?  Just how invested are you in the possibility that this guy may or may not approve of your identity or lifestyle?

I grew up in a conservative household, but I'd consider myself more of a centrist.  I listen to a few very conservative country music artists like Toby Keith and Alan Jackson, but as much as I like their music, I'm sure that we'd have disagreements on things like religion (I'm an atheist), stem cell research, abortion, etc.  So why do I still listen to them if they mention God in almost every song and talk about Heaven as if it's real?  The honest answer is because I don't give a fuck what they think, I like them as musicians and I leave it at that.

Also, do tell how it is harmful that someone who's only famous within a specific fandom and happens to be friends with one or more people who work on a certain show happens to have opinions that you disagree with.  Is conservativism just another word for fascist now?

I used to love reggae music, but when I started interacting with rastsa's I realized that they are just homophobic racist sexist trans-phobic Christians. This completely soured me on reggae for ever, Bob Marley albums in the garbage, no more eek-a-mouse ever. If you try and play that junk in my car your ass will be on the side of the road. So I can relate to your problem for sure, but remember MLP FIM is a collaboration between many people, it's not just the expression of one person, especially such a minor contributor who plays no part in the shows artistic or philosophical vision.

I dont see why people associate conservatism with racism and bigotry. wanting to enforce our immigration LAWS has nothing to do with race it has to do with laws regardless of what race or place of origin you come from. Supporting the 2nd amendment has nothing to do with race either it has to do with protecting personal freedom to potentially defend against tyranny that's why it was created. Now wanting a trans female that LITERALLY just woke up one day and decided to to define as trans so they could use to woman's bathroom to not do such things is not bigoted or transphobic either it's simply protecting women's rights to privacy in a very private and personal location and obviously if some hairy guy in a dress just causally decides to walk into a womans restroom  its not bigoted it's common sense! If a owner of a small business that bakes cakes wants to refuse to bake a cake of a LGBTQ couple that is perfectly within his rights to do so as he is a FREE individual and should not be forced to take action that goes against his/her religion by form of lawsuit or government intervention, that is not bigoted that is personal freedom!

 

 Why did I bring up all the instances? Mostly because while I agree that FAR left and FAR right both of some whacky views the idea that anything that does not automatically fit a liberals world view is somehow "racist" or "bigoted" is insane when often times it's just common sense.
