If my hardware teacher notices someone who doesn't pay attention, he will call his/her name Infront of the class making him/her feel embarrassed.

Oh I know what you mean. 

For me it's even better, as some poke me like this

"Hey riki; how to..."

"Hey riki, I want to make ...."

"Hey riki, could you take a look at my code?"

"Riki I have a problem with..."

I literally spent the whole night improving and fixing somebody's code yesterday. 

No regrets though, it's all worth this, you know me.
