Beyond a certain point, I think its better to just cache it so that at a future point when your income *isn't* greater than your needed outgoings, you have a bit of a buffer. There are plenty of things I will enjoy spending money on (and in the heat of summer, it really really sucks if you can't afford ice cream and things that are cooling because a big bill came in) but for now, I am content with what I have.
