It was confirmed last week that Slayer are about to embark on their farewell tour in North America. After 35 years in heavy metal, the thrash pioneers are finally calling it quits.

So, any fond memories of Slayer? Anypony ever get to see them live? I only got to see them once back in 2014 with Suicidal Tendencies and Exodus. Tiny venue, sold out. Floor was so packed that security had to directed me to the balcony. Probably for the best, cause those pits were the most brutal I have ever seen.

Slayer is awesome and I would love to see them, but honestly I care more about seeing Lamb of God, Behemoth, and Testament on this tour ahaha

Also the venue they chose for Chicago sucks!

I hate sitting venues for Metal/rock shows. And being in the general admission area is way too far.

Yeah, very strong support acts. All four of them would be a worthy tour in of themselves. And the Chicago venue is pretty much why I'm not going either. The next closest that's standing room only is Minneapolis.
