What I mean is, does she gives you some gems from brooches that don't sell? You know, so they don't go to waste.

Nope. She usually sells any unsold gems she has to Rarity. :mustache:

I haven't been able to teach either of them because,

 Tempest has been traveling with Grubber & Discord has been...Doing whatever Discord does. :P
