animation Anyone know of any animes that might help me feel better?

When I was 14 and my depression was at its worst, there were two animes I watched that made me feel better: Fruits Basket, and Full Moon O Sagashite. Now things are getting pretty bad again. I just watched Fruits Basket and Full Moon O Sagashite isn't on Hulu anymore (nor is it on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Crunchyroll), so I'm watching Prétear, which is having the same effect. But it only has 13 episodes. Based on the animes that I know make me feel better, does anyone have any recommendations for animes that may also make me feel better? Don't just tell me to get help or try to explain how to change negative thoughts or something. This is called a COPING METHOD. Mental health professionals say to use them.

I reccomend Tenkai Knights (but its like a childrens anime but still EPIC) or Fairy Tail (more adult like and funnier, but it does have some sad times in it, which may not help...)

I recommend "Snow White with the Red Hair".

Notes: SFW. (No swearing, no nudity, no sex, minimal violence.) Pretty good story. Can be viewed as somewhat sexist though, since one of the most defining traits of one of the main's characters is her red hair.

But overall, I loved it.

The series is also on YouTube. (2 seasons.)

Um... Did you pay any attention to the animes that I said make me feel better? They're beautiful, not epic. Tenkai Knights doesn't sound like something that would be effective, and I hate Fairy Tail.

That might work, and it is on Hulu... I'll try it once I'm done with Prétear.

Pani Poni Dash is a great favorite of mine. It's very funny. I love Becky, the little kid teacher!

Sounds like being funny is the whole point of that anime, which isn't really what I'm looking for... I know the three animes that I said help me are all comedies, but there's a lot more to them than that.

Try Naruto maybe that would help?

I don't like Naruto. Maybe I should just do my own research, because it doesn't seem like anyone understands what I'm looking for.

I was going to mention that one as well! For me, I started watching Naruto, and I think it actually does help cheer me up sometimes. Yeah there is some violence (ninja fights), but I think it has a very upbeat and motivational attitude to it. There is some very good humor in it as well. Maybe that would be good, but then again, maybe not. Whatever works for you.

EDIT: I just saw your response about this one. Sorry my bad I didn't read it. Just ignore this. :lie:

How on earth are people coming up with these suggestions, anyway? I mean, why would you look at Fruits Basket, Full Moon O Sagashite, and Prétear and think, oh, I bet this girl will like Tenkai Knights?

Because my suggestion is the only anime series that I've ever watched. :lie: (At least, this is the case on my end.)

Try watching Shirobako, it's an easy show to watch, plus it'll give you a glimpse on how a production company creates anime. It's an anime in an anime!

FLCL and Ouran high school host club would be my go-to's

also Neon genesis evangelion, because it addresses issues of depression directly

We have two ears and one mouth, so we should listen more than we say.
