Crystal was a bit  overwhelmed she was being offered a lot by this mare with seemingly no ulterior motive. Crystal eventually found a few sets of clothes she liked. One a simple but elegant dark blue dress for a formal event along with some casual pants and shirts of various colors and styles. She even found a set of clothes that she was sure she could use to get her lovers to drool.

Meanwhile Indicus thought on the question for a moment before responding. "I know blood magic is fueled by blood, it is the source of vampire stories and an idea of how to access it. Besides that I don't know much."

"You've made some excelent choices there sweetie" Bella says and smiles "Would you like to hold Mirabella? I'm sure she'd like to see her future sister-in-law" she says with a giggle.

"Hmm that's a good start, you see, yes we can use our fangs to drink blood to replenish ours if we run low, or we can buy blood at a blood bank. That is if you know the ones to go to that offers that service" He says "for now, we will use one of my captives, unfortunately his blood will have a bitter tainted taste to it, but I'd rather you learn feeding on criminals than civilians. Though some are a bit open to having their blood drunk"

"Thank you for the clothes and I would be delighted to hold Mirabella." Crystal gently took the foal from Bella and rocked her back and forth.

"Okay so I can take a guess that feeding is as simple as insert fangs in victim and drink?" Indicus looked at the captive.

Bella smiles as she watches "You're going to make a wonderful mother to little Faith" she says softly

Nightmare nods "Pretty much yes, but you need to use your instincts to know when to stop and not drain your donor"

Crystal smiled as she rocked Mirabella. "Thank you, I'm just glad that I have the chance to raise my daughter and with a good stallion and mare no less."

Indicus nodded before sinking his fangs into the donor like Nightmare told him the blood tasted terrible but seconds later Indicus let go and the donor dropped down unconscious but alive.

Bella smiles "Oh they are wonderful ponies" she says with a soft smile and looked out the window "I just hope my loving husband doesn't strain Indicus too much"

Nightmare nods "Good, you're already getting there. Now let us see..I tink we shall start with some simple illusions"

Crystal giggled, "I'm sure he will do just fine, he's stubborn enough to make it." A thought passed through Crystal's head bringing her mood down. "I just hope he doesn't destroy himself trying to ignore his personal demons."

Indicus smirked, "So how do I start?"

Bella smiles "Nightmare is there dear, and if anyone is an expert about ignoring personal demons, it's him" she reassures her and gently tickles Mirabella's belly with a smile.

"Alright, now this is where the blood comes in, you see this pedastall here with the pool of blood is? What you need to do, just for this exercise, is prick your finger and read this incantation" Nightmare says, giving him the scroll with the incantation on it. "Drip your blood in the pedastall"

Crystal felt a little better about things knowing that. "That's good, Indicus is good at hiding things only reason I even suspected anything was flair ups of emotion during certain topics. It is nice though that Indicus will get to learn a little bit more about his thestral side through this, and he gets to try a new type of magic."

Indicus took out his dagger and made a small cut on his finger and read the incantation as the blood dripped down on to the pedastal.

Bella smiles "Would you believe that Nightmare is older than he looks? Before he met me, he was a guard and before that, he was a high ranking officer in the Lunar Republic Army" she says softly

Just as his blood dripped into the pedestal and he read the incantation, a small shadow imp appeared and bowed "You called? W-wait, you're not my master?" he says before he looks to Nightmare "Ah there you are master, found a new protige?"

Nightmare just chuckles "Yes Dremora, he's been longing to find out more about his ancestral Thestral side"

Crystal shrugged, "Huh he was around during that fight between the princesses? I remember being about fifteen then mom had the hive on high alert. It was hard to gather love without getting caught in the crossfire of a battle, so mother had all trained infiltrators play the role of spy and assassins for hire to get the food needed to survive. Those were not great times."

 

Indicus was a bit lost as to why he had just summoned a shadow imp and for what purpose but he rolled with it anyway. "My name's Indicus Vencule, thief, assassin and master shadowmancer interesting to meet you Dremora."

Bella nods "From what I heard, it was tough on everyone" she says softly "I was born after it all, but my mother and father were around back then" she says then smiles "Let us focus on the now though" she says with a smile

Dremora nods "Same to you master Indicus, how may I assist you?"

"Crystal nodded, "Indeed. So how did you and Nightmare meet? I'm sure you know unicorn, thestral pairings are uncommon then again parings outside the three main tribes are very uncommon in Equestria.

Indicus shook his head, "I was told to recite a incantation and drop blood on the pedestal and here we are so I guess we can start with me learning some basic blood magic but beyond that I don't know what Nightmare intends or where to start."

Bella smiles "He was a high ranking guard and he was sent to see my father about our grounds, as you can probably guess I come from a very long line of gypsies" she says with a smile "And apparently there were some complaints about us, but Nigthmare found they were all unfounded and let us go be ourselves. But over the time he was there, we got to know each other and then fell for each other" she says, smiling at the fond memroies.

Dremora bows "You have already started master Indicus, you used your blood magic to summon me, from there, what kind of spells do you want to use?"

Crystal smiled, "Dating must have been hectic with the both of you traveling constantly. But either way you both are a good match for each other. That leads to my next question how did you find Arcania if you don't mind me asking?" Crystal decided to sit down on a chair her new cloths sitting nearby.

"Okay then, some combat spells, and maybe some affliction type spells would be quite useful for my jobs. It is always nice to have ways to take care of my opponents quickly and quietly or just quickly if i'm in a pinch." Indicus responded.

Bella sighs "We were close friends with her birth parents, and when her mother was pregnant with her, they asked us to be her godparents, which we gladly accepted" she says "but her mother died giving birth to her and her father died of giref two years later, so we took her in"

Dremora thinks for a moment "Hmm well there is a spell to poison, shock or injure a pony, take your pic, master"

"Oh I see, I'm sorry for the loss. I have a feeling if Arcania's parents were anything like you two they would have been very nice to meet"

"Well given my profession and the lack of such spells in other schools of magic we can start with the poison spell."

Bella nods "They were some of the nicest ponies we ever met" she says, getting out some cards and laying them down.

"Poison it is master, don't worry I can take it" he says then smiles "Once again, it doesn't take much, just read this incranation" he hands over a scroll

Crystal watched as Bella laid the cards down wandering what she intended to do with them, though she did not verbally ask her curiosity was obvious.

Indicus took the scroll and his dagger making a small cut on his finger then recited the incantation trying to commit the words to memory as he did . He felt a tiny bit of his recently gained strength leave him as the spell took effect and as if it knew his intentions a faint glow surrounded the blood pooling on his finger then the shadow imp.

"I'm goingm to read your future dear" Bella says with a smile and starts turnign the cards over, stil smiling.

"Alright master, now just point, once yo uget the hang of it, you won't even need to speak the words or point" Dremora says

Crystal's attention was now fully on Bella. She had heard of seers but most who claimed the gift were pretenders. So to have someone try and read the thread of fate was surprising. "Okay I'll try it.

Indicus pointed at the imp and watched the spell take effect.

Bella smiles and closes her eyes "You have a dark and troubled past, but that is widely known to everyone." she starts "You went through trial and tribulation, you endured it all, and went through tartarus and back" she then opens her eyes as she flips the last card "Hope. Quite fitting, this card means that a special wish you have made, will be fulfilled in time" she says "It also focuses on healing and faith" she smiles at her "I hope I am correct, sometimes Tarrot reading can be..difficult"

Dremora winces a bit "Good master"

Crystal smiled happy that her future was still looking up. "Thank you for the reading I can only imagine how much it takes to peek at Fate's plans."

Indicus smiled as he saw the spell work he had just used his first offensive blood magic spell.

"It can be quite draining indeed" she says with a smile "But a lot of your past is common knowledge, though the hope card was king of surprising"

Dremora smiles "Keep at it master" he says, wiping his blood away

"Yes it was, but it is a pleasent surprise to know that on of my long held wishes will come to pass though I may have forgotten it at this point." Crystal smiled and played with Mirabella a little.

Indicus decided to continue to practice his new spell. Even tried using it to poison some water it took a few tries but he managed. When Indicus felt his strength come back down to what it usually was he stopped.
