writing A Summer Breeze

Finally another poem, this one is pretty much written with a lack of inspiration so I looked out the window and thought about what I liked about the scene, theme, mood etc.

I don't like writing happy poetry, but I need variety to some degree, please give feedback if anything crosses your mind, all thoughts are appreciated.

 

A Summer Breeze

 

In heat, the sun shining warmly.

A beauty of trees, the scent.

Sniff deeply as the sun tickles.

Press your skin against the grass.

Feel it prick, watch the skies drift.

The cold, a breeze washing past.

Embracing your body closely, a hug.

Shiver and smile as the chill hits.

Close your eyes and enjoy the life.

Feel it flow, as you ride the wind.

A chirp, soothing tones of wonder.

The melancholic, happy melodies.

Listen close and sing along.

Perk your ears and enjoy the birds.

Feel the calm, observe every breath.

In bloom, every flower opens up.

Every leaf a shining color.

Look upon in awe, as they sway.

Pluck one and present for a love.

Feel the joy spread, kiss him.

Its nice. This could well be seen as a poem about love.
