The purpose of this thread is to discuss Microsoft's latest E3 Press Conference. Please keep your civility and maturity in mind as you post below. Thank you very much~

 

I will reserve most of my opinions for now but overall, I give this conference a 4/10. Very, VERY disappointed. Forza Horizon 4 looked absolutely amazing, everything else was either mediocre or very lackluster (and that includes games I was previously hyped for like Kingdom Hearts 3 and Cyberpunk 2077). Xbox had a hellava amazing conference last year, shame they had to break that, admittedly ephemeral, streak. I'm at bare least glad Xbox owners will now be able to play the best (imo) Ps4 game of all time, NieR: Automata. 

Anyway, how do ya'll feel? -.-

One of Microsoft's best conferences in a while. Admittedly, knowing the fact that none of the games they have are true exclusives does bring down most of my hype, looking at it objectively, they delivered and them some, lots of games worth getting excited over

Only a teaser was shown to my recollection. Lots of nice naturey bits, but gameplay was a no show. I'd imagine they will not make the same mistakes as their prior release, but you never know...

Just curious, which entries in the Halo series did you consider "good"?

Honestly, I see this as a huge improvement. While I would have liked more exclusives, at least Microsoft showed off prominently games. That's a good thing, and they showed that they will be getting some games even as multiplats that people want like Nier.

As jaded as I feel toward gaming, there were a lot of good games to look forward to. I know most of them weren't exclusive to the Xbox, but still. I am glad MS is trying to get more Japanese developer support for the Xbox. I am also excited that the rumor about Nier Automata coming to the One turned out to be true. I already own it on PS4, but I am thinking about picking it up on the X as well. For me personally the highlight of the show was Gears 5. I love the Gears series more than the Halo series. I honestly wasn't expecting them to show so much of the game. Needless to say, I'm definitely excited for it.
