Same as previous, pate & cheese with dry toast, side salad of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, spring onions, mayonnaise .... but healthier than cake! (Altho a Mr Kipling's blackcurrant & apple pie did follow.) I am also trying to cut back on sugar & alcohol consumption.

Yesterday, sausage casserole, with chopped onion, red pepper, courgette & potato, Coleman's sausage casserole mix, padded out with a bit of Bisto gravy and a dash of Korean pot noodle spice sachet (but not too much!) .....

Today, using up leftovers, cheese & onion quiche, roast parsnips, a few steamed potatoes, & a can of Napolina plum tomatoes in tomato sauce that is a year old ....   dash of Worcestershire sauce, Himalayan pink salt, black pepper, ketchup .....

Same as yesterday evening, but the crackers were Nairns flatbreads, & red pepper added to the salad.

A variation on Eggs Benedict, with mushrooms in place of spinach. And mayonnaise, 'cause I can't get no Hollandaise sauce

Followed by a mince pie, with tea.

Sausage eggs & chips, or kind of, sautéed potatoes instrad of chips, fried in sausage fat (pork fat). With mushrooms & 2 small eggs, ketchup & French's mustard, tea.
