Xbox personally.

Technically, PS has more titles that rate higher per average, Blu-Ray player, utilized 3D support and more robust software.

Xbox has better arcade games, backwards compability, support and online features are the highest of average and Microsoft is particular that consoles that do break get fixed ASAP.

Wii falls to the bottom of the stack with sub-par hard/software, no licensed repairer outside US/JP and fewer titles that rate considerably lower as an average.

Couldn't of said it better myself.

I'm an Xbro myself

However, I wouldn't mind owning a Ps3. It has an internet browser...

dont u have a PC?

PS3 simply because I don't like the design for the Xbox360 or how it's interface is just more complicated than a console should be. Also I find the controllers to be a bit bulky.

All consoles have alternative controllers available with zero effort.

From 15$ replacements up to 60$ powerhouses. Ebay mang, Ebay.

(Or just your local well stocked game shop.)

I got PS pad plugged to mah xbawx for my Star Ocean 4 at the moment.

Hehe, I don't even have an Xbox though. Still, I don't see why I should buy a 3rd party controller just because they couldn't include a better one with said console.

Of these two, XBOX.

But the Wii wins over all. You can't play Metroid Prime Trilogy on an XBOX, right?!

*Cough*

Jailbreaking.

*Cough*

I did and it was fien piece of booty.

Give in trade your sold-with-console-pad and get a PS replica for bauwxs.

Any sensible indie store will happily trade for one and gives warranty for it.

I understand where your coming from. It's just that, I don't know seems like an inconvenience more than anything else.

PS3 is better IMO. Why should I pay for an online service (XBL) with a similar quality to something that is free (PSN)? PS3 also has a built in blu-ray player and internet browser, which are both for a reasonable price. The games come down to personal opinion, as well as how the controller feels, even though I don't why people find the playstation controller uncomfortable, it's actually really annoying how so many people complain about it or are even disgusted by it, like it was made in a sewer.

Just a five minutes of talk to me.

And it's a large purchase, not a Gameboy you get for the summer holidays, you gonna spend that time anyway talking frak with your friendly game salesman anyway.

Might as well sneak a deal in there.

XBLA offers way more than PSN.

While not obvious at all, the difference is staggering in it's foundation and execution.

Thought to mention while I saw it.

It is legal, you just lose your warranty.

I got my soldering kit and I purchased my Metroids.

Officer problem, officer Problem?

You, ma'am... you disgust me.

I wouldn't do that FOR THE WORLD. On anything. Especially the best Wii game ever.

I haven't gone on xbl in a while, but from what I saw, it wasn't that much different from psn. Although, xbl has probably changed for the better from when I last played it, but there are a lot of other reasons why I like ps3.

Support and hosted servers.

For PSN, those are DNE.

Microsoft helds itself liable for servers to an extent, Sony does not.

Ye aren't a Scot yet, my bonny lass.

And yes, I'd rather purchase it than jailbreak it.

Xbox has better MP due to their servers, but you get what you pay for. PS3 is better SP games, and has many of the same MP games 360 does, except they rarely enforce bans, and when they do it's an IP, due to free online, which makes PS3 cheaper in the long run. I have a PS3.

I think the 360 has a better user interface and an overall better aesthetically pleasing brand, but in terms of power and superior hardware, PS3 takes that cake.

So that there is no confusion about this, I own all three consoles.

I "jailbroke" my xbauwxs in an *unspecified* manner to access all the content I like easily in an one monitor, not to break or sidestep copyrights because it's a spaghetti as it is behind my I/O center.

I do not need ten more cables there to link up PS and Wii if I can at all avoid it.

I legally purchased all discussed content I have access to.

Well it really depends on what you are after, but cost wise I'd go with PS3 since online is free!

But I've always enjoyed the 360 so much more so If you are okay with paying $60 a year extra for online features then go with the 360.

It all comes down to personal opinion I guess. If you are after online play, find the console your friends use so you can play with them, if you are after single player, then look up the game libraries for the types of games you want!

I use an Xbox 360 and I love it (though I don't use it much because I can't afford any games)!

My brother uses a PS3 and he seems pretty pleased so they're pretty much equal with a few differences!

I think the 360 has a better user interface and an overall better aesthetically pleasing brand, but in terms of power and superior hardware, PS3 takes that cake.

Pretty much that is my overall opinion, plus the whole PS3 more cost effective.

Well in my heart I am an Xbox dude.

In my mind though, PC all day erry'day.

Also a good way to sum up my opinon

Wow you guys are on fire! These are all good!

I would say PS3. I would also say I like the game library more. However, it seems like every time I want to play a game, I need to do a firmware update so I stopped playing on the PS3. I don't own an xbox and I don't like the Wii because I don't find motion controls immersive at all. So, my vote goes to the PC.

I can neither confirm nor deny myself being the cause of electrical related malfunctions. Anyways, you wouldn't happen to have a jar of replacement magic smoke would you?
