"Well, I can drive and ride bikes and stuff like that," Oliver said, "and I've been told I'm a fast learner. If I have a chance to learn how to fight, I'll take it. Apparently I'm pretty good at surviving gunshots too," he joked.

Jenna let out bit of smoke out of amusement before speaking "I'll train you more when we find a safe place where we can stay for a moment." she promised "I'll have to see if there's any form of ranged combat you could use that we can actually get our hands on, besides throwing knives that is, because there's no way to get you on par with our enemies with close combat." "Many of them have trained longer than either of us have been alive after all."

"That's pretty scary," Oliver admitted, feeling his heart race at the thought. "Hopefully I can get a gun or something. I'm sure at least one of them has to have one, right?"

He looked up at Jenna, putting a hand on her scales.

"Sure some of them may have a gun that we can actually take, since something like assault rifle is way too hard to keep hidden, but we also need ammo, which I doubt they have lot of in person." Jenna replied "But I have ideas for where we can get weapons, it just isn't as simple as just going in and taking some.".

Oliver nodded. "Well, not a lot is better than none at all, so it would do for an emergency."

He looked at Jenna, surprise on his face. "You know where to get weapons? I didn't know you used them."

"I know lot of things, I kinda have to for sake of my survival." Jenna said "And honestly, you would be surprised how easy it is to learn about some things, especially considering that I have been trained to be a master actor."

"Well, you certainly weren't faking that injury when we first met," Oliver said, looking up at Jenna. "At least, I don't think you were. Though, considering you're a massive firebreathing dragon, I'm willing to believe anything right now."

"I was overstating it." Jenna admitted "I mean, it hurt a lot, but it was basically for me what human scratching hard enough to draw blood would be to you." "But now that we are talking in hindsight, I'm surprised you actually believed my explanation about madman building their own weapon, does it really happen often enough to be a believable explanation?"

"You'd be surprised how often it happens," Oliver admitted, rolling his eyes. "Humans can be really nasty sometimes, but I hope you never find out first hand."

He looked at Jenna. "Though, I'm sure you'd do fine."

"I know how bad humans can be." Jenna pointed out "Even ignoring that I have read your history." "After all, one of my enemies is a religious militia formed by humans, The order is immoral even by dragon standards."

"Yeah, that's no real surprise," Oliver remarked, rolling his eyes. "I wish humans weren't so nasty, even to each other."

He looked at Jenna. "I doubt dragons are nearly as awful. I mean, how could they be?"

"We aren't any better, the eastern breed may be, but we are not." Jenna stated "I don't know how things would be without Talon, but in the current day we are as bad if not worse than humans." "What for you is evil minority, is the majority for us."

"Is that right?" Oliver asked, sounding rather sceptical. "You certainly don't seem evil at all."

He looked up at Jenna, smiling. "Unless it was you who shot me earlier," he joked, looking back down at where the wound was.

"I'm in the minority." Jenna pointed out "If majority of us was good, Talon wouldn't be able to stay in power, sure they use brainwashing and such, but the reason why one is evil doesn't change the fact that they are evil." "And I may have not shot you, but I was ready and willing to kill you when I came to your door."

"Yeah, if only we knew how to snap them out of it," Oliver mused, wondering what it would take to brainwash a dragon and how it could be reversed.

His heart skipped a beat when Jenna said she was ready to kill him when they met. "Well... why didn't you? I'm sure even then you could overpower me."

"You didn't give any reason to." Jenna stated "I had just escaped with my life so I was ready to act in case you were a threat, as far as I knew I could have accidentally ended up on a doorstep of a Talon agent." "But since you believed my lies I had no reason to kill you."

"Well, I wasn't gonna leave you outside when you looked that close to death," Oliver said, looking up at Jenna. "Lies or not, you needed help and it wouldn't feel right if I just closed the door on you."

"It didn't matter to me why you believed them." Jenna pointed out "Just that you did." "And we can thank your willingness to help for being where we are, because without it you would most likely be dead and I would be...well, I don't even know, ."

"I dunno about you, but yeah, I'd most likely be dead," Oliver said, half-joking. "Especially if they managed to find my house that quickly."

He looked at Jenna. "Though, knowing all that, I'm just happy you didn't kill me when you had the chance."

"You say it like you aren't talking to a someone who could crush you like a fly at any time." Jenna pointed out slightly humorously, she of course wasn't planning on hurting Oliver, but the fact was that she still had plenty of chance to do so. "Not that I would do it of course, but I still have the change to do so."

"Well, yeah," Oliver agreed, smiling nervously, "especially now that you're at full strength. I just hope I don't give you a reason to do it. I have enough trouble fighing other humans without having to fight a dragon."

"It wouldn't be much of a fight I'd say." Jenna stated "Not because you're specially weak or anything, but because without right equipment there's nothing a human can do to a dragon." "But enough of that, we should probably try to sleep."

"Yeah, probably," Oliver agreed, yawning and leaning against Jenna. "You should try to get some sleep as well. We should be safe down here so you shouldn't have to keep lookout."

He looked up at her. "Plus, I think you need it more than I do."

"I'm always on lookout, even while sleeping." Jenna stated before falling quiet, and after some moments her breathing would slow down a bit, indicating that she had fallen asleep.

The night was peaceful, and aside some noises of the wildlife there was nothing going on around them. The shelter got warmer as the hours went by, the increase in temperature being caused by the combination of Jenna's breathing and the well isolated space, but it didn't reach high enough temperatures that it would bother humans too much.

She woke up somewhere around early morning and would wait Oliver to wake up before doing anything.

Oliver didn't take long to fall asleep after Jenna, leaning against her body for warmth and protection. He almost wanted to put her tail over him, but he didn't want to be rude.

He woke up not long after her, and looked up. "Morning," he said. "Did you sleep okay?"
