"I know, but still," Oliver insisted. "I just don't like the idea of putting rope around your neck, you know?"

He saw her eyes and nodded. He had to remember that she was a lot tougher than she looked. But he couldn't help but smile. "Your eyes are kinda pretty like that."

"I doubt you want to fall to your death either." Jenna concluded, she knew she couldn't win this by talking, Oliver would need to see her before he would understand just how durable she was.
She smiled "I know, you've told that already." "Just wait until you see them in their right size." she wasn't even sure what that was supposed to mean, it just sounded like something that was a fitting response...not acting made her a bit less smooth talker it seemed.

Oliver noticed how less eloquent Jenna's response was, but he rather liked it. Any chance he got to see the real her, he enjoyed. And he had to admit, he was eager to physically see the real her.

"I can't wait to see them," he said.

"Of course you can't." Jenna said humorously "Can't blame you though, I'm sure I'd be excited to see something as magnificent as I too, especially if it's considered fantasy by the masses." she smirked, it was a humorous self-praise, but there was clear pride mixed in.

Oliver smiled, finding it cute how proud Jenna was of herself. He couldn't blame her, with how cool dragons looked even in fantasy.

He gently rubbed her head, grinning. "I bet you still look cute," he teased.

Jenna faked offense "I'm not cute." it wasn't hard to tell that the offense was faked, and it probably made her only look cuter "I'm a proud dragon who should be feared by mortals like you." she had changed her voice to a stereotypical 'bad guy' tone to show that she was just joking.

Oliver smirked at how offended Jenna seemed, since she didn't seem to mean it. But it still looked adorable.

He gently cupped his hands on her cheeks. "Oh yeah, you're so terrifying," he teased, smiling to show he was also joking.

Jenna pouted at Oliver's teasing, not really helping her case of trying to not look cute, this was a bizarre experience for her, as part of her absolutely hated being seen as cute, even by Oliver, but the other part...well, it felt kinda nice, and the latter part overpowered the former, so she let Oliver go as far as he saw fit. She muttered "You're lucky I like you...."

Oliver smirked and let go of Jenna's face, petting down her hair. "I know you love the attention," he teased, chuckling.

He knew she could overpower him whenever she saw fit, so the fact she was letting him do this was rather nice. He enjoyed having this much trust.

Jenna just muttered something too unclear to be heard, looking a little embarrassed, it was quite a contrast to her usual tough demeanor, but it didn't mean it was a bad thing, and it did good to her to be the one being the target so to speak.

Oliver smiled and pulled Jenna close for a hug, gently putting his arms around her. "I know you've had it bad, but don't be afraid to let your guard down every once in a while."

He looked into her eyes. "I'm certainly not going to hurt you."

"You couldn't hurt me if you tried..." Jenna said quietly, it was meant as a positive statement even if the wording wasn't necessarily the best possible, she hadn't changed her eyes back at any point, so Oliver's glance would be met by the dragon variant. She didn't really know what else to say, so she just met Oliver's gaze.

"Good thing I don't want to try," Oliver chuckled, smiling down at her and looking into her slitted pupils.

He petted down her hair. "Good thing you're such a big, tough dragon, huh?" he said, in a teasing tone but she could probably tell he meant it.

Jenna smiled "I'm actually quite small, but otherwise yes." she wasn't even half of her adult size yet, so though to Oliver she was probably quite big, compared to her own kind she was just a kid. "And you're tough but tiny human." she grinned, in context the sentence was quite unfitting, since Jenna's human form was smaller than Oliver, but it was still true.

"I don't feel so tiny right now," Oliver teased, smirking and holding Jenna closer to him, "thanks to you."

He smiled down at her. "But when you change? Yeah you're definitely gonna be much huger than me."

Jenna just smiled, the embarrassing effect of the teasing finally wearing off "It depends on what you consider much bigger." she said before changing to more joking tone "I can't even eat you whole, I would need to bite you in half at least." her humor was a bit dark, but this was the kind of humor that came more naturally to her, jokes related to physical attributes and the nature of dragons, and eating humans wasn't out of the question for their kind, in fact it may have been one of the things that ultimately lead to the war between the two species. "Not that I was planning to do that." she added with a sheepish smile

"That's still pretty big," Oliver pointed out, a little nervous at the idea of being eaten, especially bitten in half. Though he knew Jenna wouldn't do that. "I wonder if I do look tasty to you," he joked.

"Yes and no." Jenna said with thoughtful yet humorous tone "The lack of fur makes you look more tasty than most animals, but that's really all the good about you, humans have way too little meat to be worth the bones." she faked a very stereotypical overly posh food-critic voice when she said it. She knew about how some humans sometimes used tasty to describe the body of other human, but she didn't comment anything related to that because like she had said at some point, she felt no attraction towards human body.

Oliver smirked and rubbed Jenna's head softly. "Guess I'm lucky that I don't look pretty tasty then," he joked.

He then wondered something. "Have you eaten many humans then?" he asked, not sure if that was a serious matter or not.

"As food, none, I feel weird about the idea of eating something that talks, that and it has gotten more rare among my kinds since we are supposed to blend in." Jenna explained "But I did eat two when I got bit too into my training." she sounded surprisingly casual about it

Oliver nodded. "Yeah, that makes sense," he said, "people don't tend to eat other people. Not in public anyway," he joked.

His eyes widened at what Jenna said next. "Whoa, you really did? What happened?"

"Well, long story short, I got angry." Jenna explained "I had very painful and unfair day of training behind me, so I decided to even the playing field a bit, I killed five, two of which I ate." "That day is one of the reasons on long list of reasons why I left Talon."

Oliver felt a sickness in the pit of his stomach at the thought of being torn to shreds and eaten by a dragon. He knew Jenna wouldn't do it, but the thought still wasn't pleasant.

"Well, you weren't treated well there," he pointed out.

Jenna gave Oliver a knowing look, being able to sense his feeling towards the thought of what she had just said.
"Nobody was, or is in that matter." she simply responded "If we were treated well, there wouldn't be a need for Vipers."

"Well, at least you don't have to worry about eating people anymore," Oliver pointed out, petting down Jenna's hair. "Well, unless you want to, I guess."

He looked aside, blushing. "And I hope it isn't me."
