Ruby just snorted at the joke, but it was hard to tell if it was positive or negative snort.
"Get lost you excuse of an creature." Ruby muttered sounding rather...indifferent "I do whatever I want in my own home and I'm off duty anyway."

"Only after being awake for the whole day and having to endure countless annoying ponies." Ruby replied "And gliding with broken wing didn't exactly help, pain is surprisingly tiring." "And I haven't eaten a good meal since morning."

"Nope, because it same with caffeine as it is with poisons and alcohol, I would need so much of it for it to have any effect that it's pointless to even bother."
Ruby looked at the direction of the hamster, even though she didn't see anything from under the treasure "At least my species isn't related to mice."

Fluffball didn't seem to care about the mice comment. He got bored and went to go see the cat.

"The form has no effect on that." Ruby pointed out, Calti was still playing with the horn. "I may transform to a pony but I'm still a dragon, so like my need for meat doesn't change, the needed amounts of substances don't change either."

"I don't know the ins and outs of the spell, so I don't know exactly how it does it." Ruby replied "But yes, it's like with the bug-ponies, it doesn't matter what I transform to, nothing else than my appearance and such changes."

Iris felt like she was walking around the Canterlot Castle in circles. She was finally accepted as a servant yet embarrassingly couldn't even find the castle library. Each time she opened a door another hallway would be in front of her; even furthering her confusion of the castle's layout. She approached the Treasury doors with no knowledge of what she will find. Slowly, she pushed the doors open with her right hoof; hoping she finally found the Library. Instead of books however, the unexpected room of the castle Treasury enticed her. Without thinking, Iris walked in with the doors behind her closing with a loud shut. "Such amazing interior." she thought in her mind. She had herd rumors from other servants of the castle Treasury having an atmosphere of awe. Apparently is was true.

The hamster started running in circles around the cat, trying to play with her.

"He was once afraid of that lizard from earlier today. He eventually warmed up to him though, he'll sometimes try to get the lizard to chase him by running around him, just like what he is doing with the kitten."

"You might want to be careful around her though, she tends to be a bit grumpy sometimes."

Calti followed the hamster with her eyes for a moment, but instead of jumping at him and failing like one would expect her to do, she pushed the horn in front of the hamster so it would crash into it, and then she jumped at him. She kept her claws in so she wouldn't hurt the hamster, since being a cat she didn't know anything about him not being able to get hurt.

Ruby moved treasure away from front of her eyes so she could see the newcomer "A new member of the staff huh?" "In that case there's few rules you should know, rule one of the treasury, it's my treasury, so besides princesses I'm the highest authority regarding it." "Rule two, you need a written order from princesses to get even a single coin out of the treasury." "Rule three, don't annoy me, ever."

This caught Fluffball by surprise for a moment. That was actually a smart move. He got up and started running around again, this time attending to try and avoid the horn.

Somnus looked over and realized something.

"Remember yesterday when you talked about eating hamsters and I was afraid you'd eat Fluffball? I have no idea why I was afraid if he can't even be hurt."

When Somnus started telling the new pony some random rules or whatever he decided to say something.

"Don't worry about Ruby, she says that to just about everyone who works here. And you can rest easy knowing she won't eat you... probably."

Someone who looked like a yellow pegasus appeared and teleported himself and Iris out of the treasury and into a random hallway in the castle.

"Hey, you're a new staff member, right? I usually look for ways to prank the new staff members. Don't worry, the pranks are typically harmless."

He thought for a moment.

"Now... how would you rather be pranked? One giant egg or seven tiny eggs?"

As the tiny bits of colorful paper sprinkled into Iris's mane, she didn't move an inch or even move her eyes away from Lucid. "I'm Iris... Iris Flower, at your service." she said while holding out her hoof as a welcoming introduction gesture. She could feel this strange pegusas had some things up his sleeves whether they are malicious or absurdly comedic.

"Interesting name. Some ponies just run or something, which is weird since I am harmless. Just ask my lizard."

Near him was a small bearded dragon lizard. This was clearly his pet.

Ruby just let out a sound of acknowledgement and just grunted when the newcomer got teleported away by the annoying yellow, because she had nothing to say.

Again Calti watched the hamster for a while, and this time instead of using the horn, she stepped in front of him herself after figuring out his route and speed.

Fluffball ran right into the kitten. He had no idea how Calti was smart when she was only a kitten.

"Alright, I'll walk this time. Once I teleported to a train station and landed in a bag full of all kinds of weapons. Of course, since there is little to no room in bags and there were many sharp items in there, it was pretty clear I was off duty for a couple months."

Arrow started to walk out with Rose.

"Are you implying cats are stupid?" a new sound said, it came deeper from the treasury, though only thing visible was pair of glowing cat eyes, which were higher than usual, and bigger. Calti didn't seem to notice the newcomer, as she just playfully ran after Fluffball, as it was much more fun to actually chase him instead of just letting him run to her.
Ruby looked behind her, being able to see in the dark, she knew rest of the creature "It's you..." she then suddenly turned towards Somnus "..Please tell me you can see and hear him too."
