"No need to call a medic," Tricis said, bracing Rose's back with one of her hooves and then placing her other hoof on her chest. She made a blue light with her hoof that surged energy through her chest.

"This will stop the pain and jump-start your healing, but it will be up to your body to do the real healing for yourself. With any luck, you'll be stronger for it."

Dynamo had a deadpanned expression on his face after what he had been told, before promptly face palming. He sighed as he looking up from his face in his hoof to Tricis, while giving the mare an apologetic look. "I guess I either forgot, or I didn't understand. A lot has happened today and I just want to help. After seeing what Rokata can do and seeing how they're targeted us, I just feel like there's more that I could do." He says with a sigh, before continuing. "He doesn't seem to be a gamer, but he said he was a fan. I just wonder if he got a background check on all of us, or he gathered information to choose the five of us." He knew they would have to look into this more, but decided to let the questioning go for now.

Dynamo watched as Tricis' hoof glowed blue, before she started to heal Rose. He raised an eyebrow in surprise as Tricis explained what the spell could do. "Do you think Rose will be able to still fight tomorrow, or should we change up the fighting order, just in case?" He knew it would probably be up to him and Jade to fight. He wasn't sure about Frostflame or Draco as the two of them might have to still spar in the forest the next day.

Jade tapped her hoof, trying to make sense of a pony's motif if they had no interest in a good fight.

"Perhaps it is solely for entertainment," she suggested. "This audience seems to have a... bizarrely strong bloodlust, so maybe he thinks weakening Team Rokata's opponents will provide drama."

She watched as Tricis performed some kind healing magic on Rose. She wondered for a moment if she would ever teach her how to do that.

"That may be a good idea," she agreed. "By tradition, the captains compete last, so perhaps it would be best if Rose went in just before me. It will give her more time to recover."

Depleting your magic well in this way is actually a good way to get stronger if you can survive the injury because when her well refills, it will be strengthened after going though this much strain. Still, there's no guarantee she'll be stronger in time to help. This will likely take days to heal."

Dynamo nods as Jade had agreed with his idea. "That makes sense when you put it that way. It would probably throw the other team's game off if we put the captain earlier. It's like you said, Jade. The captain would compete last. If the captain went third or fourth, then we could come up with a sort of strategy." He says and nods at Jade's suggestion. "It does depend on how Rose is feeling by tomorrow. We can't rush a quick recover, but I do see what you mean. At least we know what our opponent's are like, so we can work around their plans."

The blue unicorn raised an eyebrow as Tricis explained what she was doing. I didn't know there was a way to speed up the healing process. I guess it's a sort of spell, or something along those lines." He listened as Tricis talked about how depleting one's magic could make them stronger. He sighed softly as he remembered his fight with Ray. "I guess I should have kept fighting against Ray. I was out of magic, so I guess I could have become stronger. He seemed a lot stronger than the others, so I didn't know what to do. I tried to fight against the damage he dealt to me, but the damage was too much." He would definitely keep the advice that Tricis had given them in mind.

Rose gasped in pain when Tricis placed her hooves on her. She felt a cold wave wash over her as the energy. She said through slightly ragged breaths, "I might be able to fight tomorrow." She was mad at herself for not injuring that pony and wanted to get stronger before the rematch. She hopped off the couch and headed to place her knife on her nightstand. Her movements were slower than they normally were.

Draco said simply and with a commanding voice "No you shall not fight," he looked at Rose right in the eye. "I've seen injuries like this in caravans going through the wastelands," Draco stated simply as he shook his head. "Better to rest up," Draco stated as he poked her side to prove his point.

Dynamo could only nod at Tricis' explanation. "I felt as if I had run out of magic and I couldn't move. I guess I have to keep fighting, even if I run out of magic." He nods once more as he knew what the plan was for tomorrow's fight. He winced as Rose gasped from the pain. He watched as she tried to get up and move over towards the nightstand. He noticed that Rose could move, but she was moving slowly from the pain. "I guess she'll get used to the pain in the next round. When it comes to fighting, then adrenaline might come into play." He nods as she mentioned that he and the others should try and get a win. "I'll make sure to do my best, so Rose won't have to fight." He knew that Rose was strong and could take care of herself. However, he didn't want to overexert herself and upset her injuries. He yawned at the mention of being tired and nods. "So much has happened, I guess I didn't notice that I was somewhat tired." He would remind himself to set his alarm to be up early the next day. At the mention of doing some exercises to prepare for Team Lockdown, Dynamo raised an eyebrow. "Are we going to do this training exercise now, or tomorrow? I just wasn't sure what the plan was after everything that had happened today?" He knew he and the others were tired, as well as having an injured teammate. He knew all that wouldn't stop them from getting training.

Once there he locks the door, and tries channeling his magic, but to no avail. Frostflame didn't show fear to his allies, but his lack of power terrifies him. He lied down on his bed and stared at the ceiling. "What is happening to me?"

"Unless you want me to apply that healing talisman...But there is a very terrible chance of her going insane thanks to the pain," Draco stated simply as he then looked at FrostFlame. "I'm not going to do that bullshit trust me takes too much out of me to do it,"

As everyone was beginning to turn in for the night, Dynamo got up from his chair to head towards the door. He used his magic to open the door, but stops as he heard Jade's remark. He looks back and give her a nod. "We'll all do our best for Rose. We're a team and we're all going to continue in this tournament together as a team."

Dynamo's ears perked as Frostflame tried to object to the plan. He sighed as he knew Frostflame had a point, but with little time on their hooves. What were they all supposed to do. He wished he had the answer, but at this moment in time, he honestly didn't know. "If there's a doctor or someone who's still available, then we should ask them. With how much the odds are stacked against us, I'm not too sure what our chances are. We still have to try our best and see how everything goes. If we have to, then we'll have Rose be the last one to go and we'll all try and secure the wins." He says with a nod, before continuing. "It may not be easy or possible, but it's better than not trying at all. I'm not going to give up hope and I'm not giving up on Rose or this team." He opens the door and closes it, before making his way to his room. As he opened the door to his room, he closes the door and collapses on the bed. He looks up to the ceiling with a look of worry and understanding on his face. 'It looks like we're going to have a disadvantage going into the next round tomorrow. Whatever happens, we're all just going to have to do our best.' He thought, before yawning. "I guess it's time that I get some sleep. Tomorrow's going to be a crazy day." He mutters softly as he sets his alarm to wake up early. He soon closes his eyes and soon fell asleep.

After a rejuvenating but short night, the members of team Lotus managed to get back a lot of their energy. However, Rose was still gravely injured and Snow was still unable to cast magic. It was six AM, and Tricis was standing outside the hotel at sunrise waiting for the others to come out and meet with her. She wanted a chance to talk to Snow before he went to spar with Draco deeper in the forest. She had an explanation for his power loss that he would need to see.

Meanwhile, she would be training Dynamo and Jade and helping Rose recover.

Being used to early mornings, Jade was the first to meet with Tricis outside the hotel. She still felt a dull ache in her joints, but she felt prepared to fight.

She stood dutifully, awaiting her coach's orders.

Frostflame didn't even remember falling asleep, he woke up with his attire still on, though his hat fell off and sheath came undone. He brushed his mane, and put the rest of his attire together. Frostflame wasn't too confident about his chances, now that he couldn't cast... but he was still a skilled swordspony, and he knew some hoof to hoof combat if it ever comes down to it. As he walked to unlock his door he remembered he'd have to be fighting Draco "such a waste of time" He thought. But still, if there was any chance at teaching this kid discipline it would be now. Frostflame walked out of his room and headed out towards Tricis, and Jade.

Dynamo had woke up early the next morning from the alarm he had set for himself. He was a morning pony and would always be up early in the morning. He knew he had a match with his team and that he needed to train with Tricis and the others. So, he didn't want to be late and mess anything up. The events from yesterday had flooded back into his mind, before he dawned a serious expression. He got out of bed and began to stretch. It was around Six AM as he made his way out of his room and headed towards the meet up location. He saw that Tricis, Jade and Frostflame were were standing outside the hotel. "Good morning, you guys. Are you ready for this match today?" He asks, before yawning slightly as he joined his team.

Draco walked out slowly dragging his hooves. He was not a morning pony at all. He looked at the old mare silently with a glare ub his eyes. The type of look that said 'I'll murder you in your sleep' Draco then just laid onto some air and started snoring once more.

Rose got up, still in pain, but it was a bit dull than last night. She couldn't decide if it was healing or that she got used to the pain. She got up off the bed and headed to a secluded place to work on her magic. She'll need to quicken her time to keep her opponent back, since of her injuries will get in the way. Now that no one was interfering with her magic, she can actually train

Tricis noticed that Rose was missing. She would have to find her later. She was planning on working with her. 

"Good, all of you are awake," she said. "Here's the plan for today. I'm going to do some light exercises with Pad and Jade. Snow and Draco, you two should find somewhere secluded and far away to spar."

She looked at Snow. "Before you go, I should clarify something for all of you, just in case the same happens to another one of you. Snow, your power loss was not done by Team Rokata, as I said before. Your powers are hibernating, so to speak."

She tapped a hoof and looked over the four of them. "Here's your lecture for the day. In some spellcasters, your aura has a mind of its own and senses danger. If your body feels like its in a situation where it isn't strong enough to survive, your magical energy will be locked off for some time so it can grow stronger. The problem with this, of course, is that you're totally defenseless while your powers are dormant and there's no guarantee your new powers will be ready by the time danger comes."

"Alright, Jade, Pad, come with me to find Rose so we can get started," Tricis said, walking past the group and heading into the woods toward Rose. When she passed Frostflame, she whispered, "Of course, if you were the pony you say you are, this would have already happened to you before." With a knowing grin.

She listened closely to Tricis's lecture, taking in the information. She felt like she was also referring to that power she had used in her own fight, which would explain why she didn't feel fully recovered just yet. She would just have to trust that she would be ready when her time comes.

She followed after Tricis toward the woods. Hopefully Rose would be in much better condition now.

Dynamo nodded at the plan that Tricis had gone over for the team. As the coach went over the lecture, Dynamo made sure to listen intently. At the mention of one's magic being locked away in times of getting stronger, Dynamo's eyes widened slightly. While it sounded like a bad thing, he was surprised that one could become stronger in that regard. He remembered that he wasn't one hundred percent recovered, but he was recovered enough to fight. He wondered if this was all due to his magic and what Tricis had spoke of. The blue unicorn then followed Tricis and Jade as they all headed towards the woods. He hoped that they would find Rose and that she would be okay. As they walked, Dynamo decided to bring up a question to Tricis. "Hey, coach? You said that the aura of magic and sense danger and have a mind of it's own. Was that how I was able to dodge certain attacks that weren't so easy to maneuver?" He knew he had trouble when it came to using a balance of his magic, but he knew there was room to improve.

"This doesn't make any sense, my cryomancy is on par with an arch mage... why would I internally feel I'am not strong enough... perhaps..." Frostflame had a few more flashbacks "never mind, if you say it'll return then I will rely on my other skills."

Frostflame's heart skipped a beat... "no way she could of possibly known. I'am Snow Frostflame in every way, from attire, to fighting style, I even got his dialect. She didn't seem to recognize me day one, how is she able to know so much in just two days!?!" Frostflame's thoughts raced. "I can't kill her, otherwise I forfeit my freedom, but I can't have her telling people my identity" Frostflame exhales in frustration "Draco, wake up, we're doing this now!" he said in a booming voice, and just wanders into the forest without looking back at Tricis. "This is not over" he thought to himself.

Draco waved off Frostflame as if saying leave him alone and let him sleep. He also waved off the old mare but still he pushed his little bed of air towards the forest with frostflame./ He was snoring away sleeping.
