Devin smiles "Nano nap it shall be and thanks love" she'd kiss her cheek, climbing into the back of the car and curled up for her nap. Needless to say, the female bunny knew how to be cute, as she would wiggle her little tail and her whiskers from time to time as she slept.

Gentle smiled with a nod as she felt her cheek being kissed. "You're welcome and it's no trouble, hon. Just make sure not to fall asleep on the video games, now." She would say as Devin climbed into the back of the car. Making sure that she didn't make a sharp turn that would make Devin go flying and get hurt. She also made sure that Devin was buckled up so she wouldn't fall out of her seat. As she continued to drive home, the periwinkle unicorn made sure that Devin was in her peripheral vision. She would look in the rear-view mirror to see Devin was still sound asleep. She giggled occasionally as the female bunny wiggled her tail and whiskers as she slept. Blushing slightly as she thought Devin was being cute.

Back at home, Scarlet was pretty much doing the same as her mother. Curled up asleep next to the one she loves, and of course, like her mother, would occasionally wiggling her tail and whiskers as she slept. She would cuddle up to not just Dynamo but to their beloved pets.

Back at home, Dynamo was still resting alongside Scarlet in a nano nap. He felt a weight upon his chest as he felt Sora curled up to him. He could also feel the pets curled up next to them, on their legs, or wherever they could find room on the couch. Dynamo smiled in his sleep as he rested his chin upon the top of the female rabbit's head.

Scarlet smiled some more as she felt dynamo rest his chin on her head. She'd occasionally wiggle her tail and whiskers as it would seem she was having some happy dreams, and indeed she was, as she was dreaming of her future with Dynamo.

-Small Time Skip-

Dynamo smiled as it seemed he was having a happy dream of his own. Dreams of him spending his future with the female rabbit, Scarlet. He unconsciously wrapped his arms around her and held Scarlet close. A couple of minutes had passed as the sound of a car could be heard. Gentle had returned home from the game store with Devin, before pulling the car into the driveway. Turning the car completely off, she looked back to see Devin, who was still curled up in the back seat. She chuckled as she exited the driver's side and went around to the back passenger doors. Upon opening Devin's side of where her seat was, she leaned over to shake her shoulder. "Dev. Come on, hon. You got to wake up. We're finally home." She would say, but not before quickly taking out her phone and taking a picture of how cute Devin was being.

As they arrived home, Devin would feel the car stop to a halt and the engine stop. She was awake but knew that Gentle would find her sleeping pose adorable, so she waited until Gentle would shake her shoulder to wake her. She would smile and  then reach up to kiss her "Just couldn't resist taking a photo, hmm?" she'd ask, covering a yawn "mm lovely little nap, not entirely sure i could sleep now, but we can still snuggle, I'll just read or be on the laptop while you nap next to me"

Gentle smiled as she saw that Devin was finally awake. She noticed that the female rabbit had sat up rather quickly, before seeing her lean up to her. She soon realized and leaned down to return the kiss. All the while, smiling widely at the affection. "Well, you were sleeping the whole ride to the game store and on the way home. So, I don't know if I could call that a nano nap." She would say giggling, "I'm glad you were able to rest. I hope everything is okay and you seem a little better. I wouldn't mind snuggling together, but knowing you. You'll probably still find a way to fall asleep for a nap." She stuck her tongue out playfully with another chuckle. "I'm sorry. I couldn't resist teasing you, hon. Now, let's go and give our kids the surprise we wanted to give them." She smiled, grabbing the bags of games, before stepping off to the side for Devin to exit the car.

Devin giggled as she got out of the car, "I know hon, it's alright" she kisses her cheek before grabbing the console and games "and you're right, I probably would find a way to fall asleep again" she says, following her to the door then opening it "oh my" she says softly.

Gentle rolled her eyes as Devin kissed her cheek. "Oh, I know. Plus, you always found a way to fall asleep. Whenever you were laying in a comfy bed, or were cuddling. It's your one, true weakness that never ceases to amaze me." She giggled, following Devin to the door to hear the female rabbit whisper something. Wondering what she had meant, Gentle peered her head into the living room. "Well, would you look at that." She whispered softly as she saw the sight before her. The periwinkle mare saw her son, Scarlet, Chocolate and Milkshake all curled up together on the couch. As she sniffed the air, she glanced over towards the kitchen area. Noticing plates of food and arranged plates were all set. "It looks like our kids prepared a nice breakfast for when we got back. That's just so sweet of them."

Devin would smile and hold Gentle close "That's just our kids for you dear, always thinking of others and not just themselves." she smiles "and that sight is almost too cute to disturb but we do have our surprise for them and breakfast waiting for them" she smiles "I'll wake Scarlet, you can wake Dynamo" she says as she goes over to the sleeping young couple and gently shakes Scarlet awake "Scarlet sweetie, time to wake up" she says.

Scarlet would slowly open her eyes and smiles "H-hi mommy"

Gentle felt herself being held by Devin, before smiling and resting her head against Devin's. "You can say that again, hon. Just the way we were able to raise them." She placed a finger to her lips to warn Devin to be quiet, before pulling out her phone. Making sure the phone was on silent, she snapped a picture for the occasion. "I guess I shouldn't have photos of others sleeping, but I guess I can't help how cute everyone is being. I know there will be more pictures for our kids in the future." She chuckled softly. "You're right. We can't leave our kids in suspense. We definitely need a picture of the two of them freaking out." She nodded at the plan of waking up, while going over towards the young couple. "Wake up, honey. Devin and I are home and we have something to discuss." She would say, shaking his shoulder to help wake the gamer pony up.

Dynamo slowly opened his eyes as he woke up. "H-Hey mom. Is everything okay? I hope everything was okay on the ride home." He began to sit up as he started to rub the sleep from his eyes.

Scarlet rubs the sleep from her eyes "Y-you two were gone a while, y-yeah is everything okay?" she'd ask and Devin smiles "Well...yes and no" she would say then look to Gentle "Should we tell them the bad new first?"

"Everything is okay. Well, I guess it depends on how you both would view on the idea of okay." Gentle responded, which prompted Dynamo, who was rubbing the sleep from his eyes, to become concerned. "What do you mean, mom? Did something happen recently?" He would ask, Gentle nodding slightly as she looked to Devin. "I think we should tell them the bad news first, then give them some good news. It's better they know this now and get the bad news out of the way." She says, looking back to the two children sitting up on the couch. "Devin will explain, while I chime in. We just ask that you both try not to freak out or to get upset, okay?" She knew it was a tall order, but she wouldn't blame the two if either of them was upset or freaking out. "Go ahead, Dev. It's time to let them know."

Scarlet looks to Dynamo then to Gentle and her mother, "Well..okay" she would say. Devin heaved a sigh and shook her head "Some tv producer is trying to do a show on what happened to you two and the others when you were kids" she says, "though, Mayor Mare, Gentle and I are doing all we can to stop this from happening."

Scarlet would look to Dynamo "I see..so they're trying to drudge up the past?" she'd ask and pick up her phone "Looks like I've got some calls to make, this could very well be an exploit show, I won't let that happen, and I have a few contacts in Manehatten still"

Dynamo looks to Scarlet, before turning to Devin and his mother with a nod. "Okay mom and Miss Devin. We're listening." He would say as Devin began to explain what had happened in their absence. "Apparently it's supposed to be a sort of reboot, or sort of show that is bringing everything back. We saw a small poster sign of it and we rushed over to the mayor's office. For the moment, Mayor Mare said that she'll do what she can. Let's just hope that this show doesn't air."

Dynamo closed his eyes with a sigh, before shaking his head. "I know that everyone is trying to move on, but to bring up the past like that? I don't know what's gotten through these executive producer's minds." He would say as he turned to Scarlet, who was picking up her phone. "I know you said you've got some calls to make, but what are you planning, sweetheart? Maybe I can help in calling some of these contacts. Do you suppose they still remember me? I know I have to call Starlight to let her know what's going on." He says, picking up his phone, as well.

"We're really sorry kids" Devin would say.

Scarlet shakes her head "It's not you who has to be sorry mom, nor you mrs Step" she would say as she then looked to Dynamo "I'm going to call the commissioner back in Manehatten, Perhaps he can pull some strings, get this production shut down"

Dynamo shook his head as he heard the apologies from their mothers. "It's okay and there's no need to apologize. We honestly didn't expect something like this to happen. I admit that it's disheartening to hear that something like this is being brought up, but I suppose that all old stories are brought up in one way or another." He would say, before nodding at Scarlet's plan. "I think that's perfect. From what I could see, the commissioner and team all seem to have your back. So, it'll be nice for them to get to the bottom of what this is. Hopefully, they'll be able to get this shut down. I want to say that this could be a good case to start with, but then again, I don't think I want to relive those bad memories."

Gentle smiled as she looked at the children with pride in her eyes. "I'm so thankful that you two are taking this so well. We were honestly worried for the worst case scenario, but we wouldn't blame you. I think you both deserve a reward for going through something like this together. What do you think, Dev?" She'd ask, looking towards her and giving a quick wink. A sort of signal to let the kids know of the good news.

Scarlet would nod "Even when retired, we all have each other's backs" she responds to Dynamo before turning her attention to Gentle "It's the best thing that we can do. Carrying on and making a fuss bout it won't get us anywhere and would probably just hinder any efforts that Mayor Mare is making" she would say, then raising an eyebrow at what Gentle had said "What does she mean, mom?" she asks.

Devin would smile and wink back to Gentle "Well. it's something I had on hold for a bit..originally it was meant to be for Dynamo, but as you have moved back, it's for the both of you" she would say, putting the bags on the table. "go on, take a look"

"You can say that again, Scar." Dynamo smiled with a nod. "We've had each other's backs when we were younger. Even to this day, we'll always have each other's backs, no matter what." He would say, nodding once more as Scarlet had brought up a good point. "I just hope that Mayor Mare will be able to do something about whatever this company has in store for this show. I guess we'll just have to ignore the situation and just take it one day at a time. It's like Scarlet had just said. If we make a fuss, then we won't get anywhere." He raised an eyebrow as Devin placed the bags on the table, while explaining what the meaning of the gift was all about.

As soon as he looked into the bag, the gamer pony gasped as his jaw dropped in surprise. "Mom. Miss Devin. You can't be serious. Scar! Take a look at this." He would say, before pulling a Nintendo Switch out of the bag. "I know I wanted to get a Nintendo Switch, but they were always so expensive. It's not even our birthday's, or even a holiday. How is that even possible?" He asks, looking up at the two adults. Gentle, at which, smiled. "Well, you see. It's like Devin had said. We wanted to get something special for you, honey. When Scarlet had moved back, we decided to make that as a special welcome home gift. Since she's retired, we thought this would be perfect for the two of you to play video games together. Just like the good old days when you both were growing up."

Just then, the commissioner answers "Hello? Scarlet?" he'd ask, she'd pick up "Oh hey Commissioner, uhm, there's a problem in my home town, I best put you onto Ms Step, she knows the full details" she'd say, turning to look to Gentle "Ms Step, can you please talk to the commissioner about the..you know?"

After Scarlet went to hug Gentle and Devin, Dynamo stood up to give them hugs, as well. "Thank you so much, mom, Miss Devin. You didn't have to do this, but this really does mean a lot." Pulling back from the hug, he looked over to Scarlet with a nod. "That's fair when you put it that way. I'm the same way when it comes to certain video games. I always either see the trailers before the games are released, or commercials on TV. I want to get the game, but I'm busy with work or tournaments that I never find the point in getting the game. It usually depends on the game too. I'm glad we both got the Switch to play with. It can be the family console too." He would say, feeling better as the situation was resolved.

Dynamo's ears perked, along with Gentle's ears as they heard the phone ring. As Scarlet picked up the phone, they heard it was the commissioner from Scarlet's detective agency back in Manehattan. Upon hearing her request to speak to the commissioner, Gentle nodded with an understanding smile. "Of course. You two just look at the games you got and have fun. Devin and I will take care of this." She would say, before taking the phone. "Hello? Commissioner? You wish to speak to me about what's going on, correct?"

Devin would smile "I'm glad you two enjoy the gifts, and it was helpful in lifting your spirits" she would then smile more "Now that's the very considerate of you Dynamo, saying it's a family console" she smiles more then her head turns to the phone.

The commissioner would say "Ah yes, miss Step, I haven't heard much about the current situation, but Scarlet spoke to both me and our department's psychologist about the past in length. Could you please tell me what's going on now? is it happening agian?" he ask "I need as much information you can give me so I can help to the best of my abilities"

"Scarlet and I are fans when it comes to video games. I'd say I'm the bigger fan because it's my cutie mark and that Scar went into the field of detective work. However, I'd be lying to myself because once you play video games, you're a gamer for life. Even so, these gifts are amazing. I know Scar and I will definitely love to play these games when we get the chance." Dynamo responded, smiling softly with a nod at Devin's response. "I mean, it's true, right? There might be a time that Scar and I might be busy with going out somewhere. So, I think it would be nice if you and my mom got to enjoy the Switch too. That, or it could be a family night to just sit back and enjoy games. I think the console also plays movies or can go on the internet?" He asks, opening the box to unpack the Switch, while also reading the instructions on how to set it all up.

As the commissioner spoke, Gentle nodded as she moved over towards an open chair away from the others. "Yes, Commissioner. I'm glad that Scarlet has spoken to you about everything that had happened in the past. It must have been a better way in order for you and your team to get to know her. At any rate, yes. Her mother and I were on our way home from the store. We noticed a sign that was being placed on window's and telephone poles. A sort of advertisement on a revival series of that show. As soon as Devin and I saw it, we rushed over to the mayor's office in our town to discuss on getting this show taken off of the air. If what happened in the past was any indication, then I know this could very well happen again." She would say, feeling ready to answer any and all other questions that could be asked.

Devin smiles "That sounds good, a family night at least once a week will be nice. It'll help keep us all together" she says, looking to Gentle with a worried look on her face.

There was an audible groan from the commissioner "So the rumours are true then?" he'd ask with a heavy sigh "It may surprise you, but what happened to your little town actually reached national news, so a lot of ponies know about it. And we've had a few concerned parties voicing their concerns" he'd say, "I also appreciate your swift action with involving Mayor Mare, I've known her many years, in fact it was her who elected me Police Commissioner" he'd say "Look, I know the police presence is thin in your town, so I will work with the Mayor to have a police presence and interviews with the screenwriters and studio responsible for this"
