Tulpa Discussion Thread V1.2

I am uncertain I mean yesterday I was narrating to her and then suddenly I felt a very strong pressure on my chest like serious I need to take deep breaths to feel that I was taking air. It was kind of weird. I suspect it was a coicidence but I am not sure.

Apart from that nothing at all yet but it is to be suspected I have tulpaforced around 4-5 hours

Mine's doing fine. She's been doing her best to comfort me with my injury. Peculiar though, I could see her and hear her even when I was in the height of pain, telling me to calm down and to breathe slowly. Shows how much she's been imposed into reality.

 

I've also been showing her some more songs with Merthe Solvedt, who is the person I based my tulpa's singing voice off of. She's been loving that.

So, I've been having some real difficultly grasping just what to actually do when I start forcing. My mind is all over the place and I stay about as a focused as a disposable camera. I've been trying different ways to try and fix this, and few have seemed to be working, but then I ran into another dilemma. I like things explained, how, why, you know, so the whole "focus your energy at a point in your mind" makes about a much sense to me as Shakespeare does to a 2nd grader; that meaning, I know it's supposed to mean something, and I know theoretically what is supposed to be going on, but I plain don't get how I'm supposed to go about doing it. (Side note: any advice for this part would be very appreciated. Chigens, Kay, Nevermore, and Arya have already been and continue to be a big help, but the more I can get, the better.)

 

Anyway, that still remains to be a problem, but I did manage to make, at least what I consider to be one, a breakthrough today. I was meditating, not quite forcing sense I wasn't actually talking to my tulpa, just calming myself and trying to clear my mind. Yet again, that second part proved nearly impossible. That's when I had a thought, what if all of the chaos and random thoughts that go on in my head are not just a result of low focus, but also input from something else? That something else being a tulpa.

 

Even if this isn't the case, which is very possible if not most likely, it definitely helped me not only to focus but to give my tulpa an essence for me to communicate with, reducing the need (at this point) to delve into the enigma that is the focusing of energy into a singular spot in the brain.

Because I'm very active on the forums, creating a tulpa is hard because I get distracted. However, I know I'll probably be able to focus my attention on things only I can see after my big sister's visit.

 

 

Okay, my tulpa needs a sort of starter personality. It's a Posey look-alike, with an undetermined voice, though I, for one, want it to sound like Rapunzel from Tangled. Here's what I have of the personality so far:

5.funny

6.outgoing

7.???

Help. My mind is of no use at this moment. I want at least 10.

Nice Bris. You have plenty of time to bond with her right now! Its really cool she was comforting you in your pain, glad she helped. I hope my Tulpa will help me get into and while in Special Forces. Hope you feel better soon too man!!!

For my Tulpa (start pending when my schedule opens up), I did my core values, the Scout Oath. Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obediant, Thrifty, Brave, Clean and Reverent. They flowed after that. Work with Traits that will play off each other. Why is your Tulpa Caring, PLayful or any trait, that also helps. I love school, so my Tulpa's traits reflect that (I also would love help in memory recall. Hehehe).

I know that the last time I posted about my tulpa, I was all enthusiastic about trying to make one, but unfortunately It would seem that it was only after a couple of days after that post the forcing itself was just so boring to me that it was almost impossible for me to stay focused.

 

She has not talked to me once yet, but that's only because I've done less tulpaforcing than what I'm supposed to do. I've spent not even a decent amount of time on personality. (got about 11 traits down, and I've explained all of them to her as best I can, but I could only go over each for like five minutes before I ran out of things to say about the trait.) However though, I do have a good idea of what she will look like. I think I'm just gonna go jump straight onto narration, because I honestly feel there is not much else I can do for personality. I think it would be better to just let it develop on its own.

 

The thing is though is that it's really hard to remember to talk to her while I'm going about my day. (And by going about my day, I mean sit on my ass in front of the computer doing nothing productive. (Except maybe drawing traditional art of ponies every now and then.) I mean, I would really like to go outside and walk around ect, but knowing where I'm from, I'll probably get stabbed or something.)

 

But, I think what's important is that I know for a fact that she's there somewhere. I can feel it. And I know if I just keep it up and remember to try and talk to her as much as I can, then one day I will see her with my own eyes. I know no one else will see her, but I don't care. I know she will help me become a better person in general once she's at least sentient. I just got to keep at it.

Actually, I've been trying that, I've drawn a couple of T's on my hand in pen to try and remind me of my tulpa. And I also have a little post-it note with a large T symbol on it that I've stuck on the edge of my computer monitor. But whenever I look at it, I usually don't even notice it.

Well what I did with my mark was try and connect the Tulpa to it.

 

So whenever I looked at it or touched it or something, my Tulpa would show it's presence and help me acknowledge its existence.

Mine is too! It was originally going to be Rainbow Dash, but right before starting making a human just felt right. Still plan on making my second or third tulpa a pony.

Not really. You can change the form even if it were to deviate into something you can't stand (although try to keep all deviations). And for the personality, if you do it it shouldn't become a total opposite. Even if you don't do personality (the Irish' method) the tulpa personality shouldn't be as messed up as Molestia. Unless of course your mind is equally as messed up, in which case I pity you.
