Has anyone ever considered doing this crossover?

Crossing over EqG with Pixar's Monster's Inc/University. 

I'm merely providing concepts and ideas. It's mostly up to you to handle how the crossover would go out but it can go in a number of directions:

Whatever happens in the crossover or how it's executed is up to you, writer, but here are a number of directions it could go through:

- EqG characters interacting with the monster world. Either occurring in their current age, freshmen years or in their youth.

- An AU where Sunset Shimmer ends up in the Monsters Inc Universe Instead of the Human World (and is consequently turned into a monster as well). This occurs during the events of the movie "Monsters University" and can either be about her attending MCU alongside Mike and Sully in the Oozma Kappa Fraternity or a little while into the future, where she has a Job at Monsters Inc.

- Related to the second concept: Sunset shimmer is a scarer at Monsters Inc trying to reach the title of Top scarer. She tries to cheat by calling in 6 doors, which happen to belong to the Human mane 6 (who happen to children at this time). Forgets to close the Doors due to a combination of fatigue, exhaustion and impatience and the 6 humans children are let loose into the monster world.

- AU where the mane 6 and all other EqG characters have monster counterparts in that world. If the Human mane 6 are children in said story, then their could be something where their monster counterparts are assigned to them.

- AU story where Mike and Sully are Banished to the EqG World instead of the Himalayas. The EqG rules of cross dimensional travel still stand, and Mike and Sully have to find a wy back to their world but at the same time contend with the fact they they have been turned into the very creatures that are "toxic" to monsters. Humans.   

- Retelling of the first EqG movie but Sunset and Twilight are in the Monster World instead. specifically, the mirror led to Monsters University.

- Equestrian magic eventually finds it's way into the monster world and causes a catastrophe where the human and monster worlds to merge as well as. something the CDA struggles to neutralize.

Though there can be situations were equestrian magic can leak into the monster world and persist in a non-catastrophic way
