Why Gusty the Great didn't become a Princess?

Gusty the Great is one of the ancient characters and also a ancient hero who finally to beat Grogar (not Discord) in the past but i have a question about this if Grogar is more powerful than Discord and even Lord Tirek why Gusty didn't become a Princess? She can be a princess as well as a hero just like Twilight but why she is just a hero and not also a Princess?

I'd say it doesn't take that much to be an alicorn princess. All Twi did was solver a super smart, hard to do spell. Which Glimmer could easily do since the running gag is that she's even better at magic than Miss Sparkle is. Swapping minor personality traits and job details in reality seems minor to time manipulation, mind control or even turning wild mice into what is essentially your own, sentient race, then back again. Why is no one else upset about that?!!? *Cough.*

I daresay the only reasons is that they had only so much time to involve said character, and that putting the horns/wings set on a griffon would look weird like some mutant. When it so totally doesn't seem like the case when you slap that on a pony.

 I call Morphism!

But maybe alicornation is just a pony thing or just a thing Celestia does.

Beatings & Salivations Everybeing!   Creativity is something blatantly important to me as is no doubt evidenced by the 28 OCs I have posted here of the some forty plus I have, they're linked altogether at the bottom of my About Me page in my Profile & I would deeply cherish anything you wish to say about them! Among which of those I am proudest most of is my Draconequusona, His/My Ask Thread  and my Hydra, Gallimaufry or "Mauf" and their own Ask Thread!  Either way, sufficed to say, I am quite confident I have more OCs than you! Crazier to! Do You have a tatzelpony?! No, I rather think you don't! Hew-Hew-hew!

I don't know if there were any Alicorns back in those days, before Equestria. I can't remember seeing any (I might have forgotten).

Gusty the Great, a perfectly portrayed super unicorn, just like Twilight was in the beginning. If she was in the actual show (like the pillars), she would have to compete with Starlight Glimmer for princess. And then we have Sunset Shimmer as well. What a mess! Pony Politics :umad:

I suppose alicorns were mostly unknown considering that was before the founding of Equestria. In other words, earth ponies, pegasi, and unicorns hated each other guts :fluttershy:

For the same reason why Mistmane, Starlight, Starswirl (Clover the Clever and other magical unicorns) are not alicorns. Honestly, I begin to believe that unicorns are more important than alicorns, the only thing that can make alicorns look more important is that they are extremely rare, but that doesn't make them better ponies or more magical, and that the Twilight transformation It was simply luck, because Twilight has done nothing that other unicorns have done.

I'm really sorry if I have a spelling mistake, my English is not good enough to form a complete sentence.

Twilight didn't become a princess overnight. It takes more than a hero to be a leader.

I don't agree  with you, Twilight has no leadership characteristics, many times it depends on others to make decisions, it has no determination or self-confidence. In addition, she has not done anything that ponies like Glimmy or Mistmane have not done.

Cozy transformed into an alicorn by receiving magic from the Grogar bell, so alicornification is not (nor does I like to think it is) a spell.

Twilight (and others) have had to learn lessons along the way, but she has quite a few leadership characteristics. She's often one to take the lead because she has a duty to do what's right and protect that which she holds dear. This in turn inspires others to follow her, and rather than turn others away, she makes good use of their strengths while helping them to overcome their weaknesses. She can't do it alone, but she'll do what she can no matter the circumstances. She established herself before becoming royalty as a community leader, heck that's when she was really facing the odds to save the day. I still don't think it was good to make her a princess, but she definitely shown herself to be a capable leader.

Starlight Glimmer and Mistmane also have leadership characteristics, but Glimglam obtained her skills initially through manipulation, and Mistmane is not only very humble, but both were not groomed for such a position like Twilight, as well as Cadence.
