gaming Coolest Video Game Finds

So, last Saturday I ended up stopping at a thrift store. I immediately go to where the used video games are. I am looking through the Xbox One games and then I see a couple of Gameboy Advance cartridges. I see a red cartridge in there and I am I like no way, it can’t be what I think it is. Lo and behold it’s exactly what I thought it was. A copy of Pokémon Fire Red for the GBA for $2.99. So, I decide to buy it so I can resell it since I know these games are valuable(according to pricecharting, a copy of this game runs about $64). Honestly, I probably would have kept it if I had a Gameboy Advance(and I liked Pokémon), but ultimately, I ended up selling for $50.

Why am I sharing this story you? Well, I have gone retro video game hunting in the past, but this is the first time that I have actually found something cool. It just made me so happy. :yay:

Anyway, what about y’all? What are some of your guys’ coolest video game finds?

Pokemon Emerald for thirteen dollars off of eBay was one hell of a steal. :sneer: I also got Final Fantasy V in its original box with the manual way back in 2013 for 15 dollars from a trade store. Those were just the first two that came to mind, I'm sure I have many more considering that I used to frequent a trade store all the time back when I lived near one.

Found Super Smash Bros Melee and Simpsons Hit And Run at a garage sale for $5 each which was a huge get looking at it now because I recently found out even Simpsons for GC was going for $60 even for a loose copy. Let's not even get into how much Melee goes for either

On a smaller note since they're still easy to come by but neat none the less, found another garage sale not too long ago and managed to get virtually brand new copies of FF7 and 8(black label) on the PS1 for $4 each, Apparently the old couple's daughter barely played her PS1 which would explain why they were in such fantastic condition

I got Pokemon Ruby from a Flea Market for $10, Complete Luigi's Mansion on Gamecube for $35 off of eBay (Which was a steal considering it sometimes sells for $50), and a fat PS2 complete with cables, controllers, memory cards and games for $20 at the Flea Market I mentioned earlier.

I once found a GBA SP at a thrift store, complete with a Zelda game inside. I don’t think I could sell them for much, but I hope I find more games someday.

I got the first Spyro game on PS1 at a store for about $5. Got it with the manual and the game ran perfectly. I caught Mario Advance 2 for about $9 as well, but it was gone when I came back the day after.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.
