Thundy held on to Bluebell tightly. “Hey, it’s okay sweetie. You got this. You’re doing great.” Thundy said with a smile. “Look, you’re almost to the fence.” Thundy said looking back towards the fence that enclosed his backyard.

Bluebell smiled back and took another step, and lost her footing, falling into Thundy and snapping her arms around him.   She looked back up at him again, and sighed.  After dragging her feet back under her, she stood herself up straight and gave Thundy a warm hug.  She was careful releasing him, and extended her arms outward to balance herself.  She picked up one foot, and stepped forward, and then, did the same with the other.  She took several more steps.  "I'm d-d-doing it.  I'm-I'm d-doing it!" she said, looking at Thundy  with a little tear coming from her eye.

"That's it Bluebell. I'm going to let one arm go. You got this sweetie. Just look right into my eyes." Thundy said hugging Bluebell sweetly with a purr, then as he slowly broke the hug, he let one arm go so that way he was only holding Bluebell up with one arm, giving her a sweet and loving look right into her eyes.

Bluebell took another careful step forward and then another...  She squealed with joy form learning her new-found skill. "Oh-oh my g-g-gosh!"

"That's my girl! You're right there. Let's take the last steps by yourself." Thundy said with a smile as he backed away until he was leaning against the fence, waiting for Bluebell to take the remaining steps.

Bluebell slowly released Thundy's hand.  Standing freely, she took a deep breath, she took a small, careful step froward and then another, and another... At that moment, she was so happy, she wanted to openly cry.

Thundy's jaw dropped. Bluebell was learning the skill faster that he expected. He ran towards Bluebell and embraced her in a warm hug. "I knew you could do it Bluebell!" He said happily, feeling some of the tears from Bluebell fall onto his fur.

"You're welcome." Thundy said with a cute purr, slowly breaking the hug. "So, you ready to go to the science museum? There, you can learn about how earth works and other really cool stuff." Thundy said looking into Bluebell's eyes.

”Awesome, we’ll have to take my car to get there. People here use vehicles to get around.” Thundy said as he gently took Bluebell’s hand and held it, leading her to his heavily modified 2020 Ford Mustang GT with its wide body kit and yellow Lightning design.

Bluebell's steps were still carefully measured, but she was happy just to be mobile in this new from.  She looked at the car, and her eyes popped.  "G-goodness! Is-is th-th-this what y-you g-g-get around in?"

”Indeed it is my dear. Your sleigh awaits.” Thundy said smiling, and opening the passenger door to his Mustang for Bluebell beckoning her to get in. He then walked over to the driver’s side and got in.o

Bluebell had to think a moment about how to get into an automobile.  She turned her body,as best as she could guess, to a correct position.  She then started to lower herself into the seat when her foot slipped an she landed on the seat abruptly. She looked at Thundy and blushed.  "S-s-s-sorry about th-that."

"Hey that's okay." Thundy said as he closed the door. "Don't forget to close your door. Oh! And make sure you fasten your seatbelt like this." Thundy said as he slowed Bluebell how to buckle her seatbelt.

Bluebell carefully picked up the seat belt, and when she heard the click of the buckle, she said, "Is it o-o-okay? Are-are we r-r-r-ready to g-go?"

"Indeed it is." Thundy stated as he inserted the key fab into the slot. The gauges and HUD lit up in a cool blue/yellow mix. Thundy then put his right foot on the brake pedal and pressed the ignition button. The 1200hp cammed twin turbo 5.0 V8 engine roared to life loudly, enough to make the mustang shake a little and cause a few perched birds to fly away.

"Not all cars are this loud. There are some that don't even make a sound. They run on electricity. This mustang of mine runs on gasoline, which is why the engine is so loud. Anyways, off we go." Thundy said shifting to reverse and slowly backing out of his driveway.

Traveling by car was a new experience to Bluebell. "Wow, th-this thing is f-f-fast!" she said.  "I c-c-c-can't wa-wait to see th-th-the museum. "

"Haven't even picked up speed yet. Wait until we get out on the main roads. There's a fun route I take to the science museum, rather than the boring highways." Thundy said as he backed out of the driveway and shifted to drive. He then drove at a steady 15mph, the speed limit for the neighborhood.

 Bluebell felt her heart jump into her throat.  "Yipe!  What was that?"

"Those are motorcycles. They're a lot of fun to ride." Thundy stated. He then found an open gap. "Here we go." Thundy said as he accelerated the mustang up to a steady 30mph. The acceleration was medium, but nowhere near thrillseeker level. Thundy then turned on his music. 

Thundy bobbed his head a little to the beat and sang along, hitting all the notes.
