We got any Muppets fans here? I've recently started watching The Muppet Show, and I've been hooked.

Well, I know them. There are definitely memorable stuff in this show like Statler and Waldorf there. But I don't consider myself a fan of it. I'm not even sure if I have ever seen on of those muppets movies.

It is great that a new generation get to see the classic Muppets (basically, Kermit voiced by Jim Henson, which is the classic to me) the way they were originally created. It was a time era long forgotten by now, with a slightly different TV audience.

I watched the movie and its sequel as a kid and thought they were both really funny

I watched as much Muppets content via Disney+ as possible about a couple of months ago. Last year, I watched the entirety of Muppets Tonight which has yet to appear on the service.

My favorite Muppet thing is The Muppet Christmas Carol.

The movie is hilarious, very close to the source material and Michael Caine does an excellent job playing Ebenezer Scrooge, IMO.

I love The Muppet Show, and I love The Muppet Christmas Carol as my favorite among the movies. The newer series, 'The Muppets' from 2015/16 started out really well and had a great sharp wittiness to it, but unfortunately the boardroom at ABC decided it had to be toned down and homogenized, which took all the fun and sponteneity out of it. Once those changes were made, the show's ratings spiralled and it was cancelled very soon afterward. Disney has never had a clear idea what to do with the Muppets when they bought them, and 'The Muppets' was the closest they came to making them popular again. Too bad they mismanaged them right out of existance. 

I'll stick with the old classic Muppet Show. It was truly great entertainment.
