Would a pony hybrid be able to get a cutie mark?

Like say there was a changeling-pony hybrid, or a griffon pony hybrid (Not counting hippogriffs) Would the hybrid be able to get a cutie mark? Or is that only for purebred ponies?

My OC Chelsea is a griffon-pony and she has a cutie mark, so yes, they could.

If memory serves, equine hybrids like hippogriffs do not have cutie marks by default. However, if one was to sacrifice a dozen screaming babies to Harmony, I'm sure the accursed deity would slap one right on the cheeks.

Maybe it depends on how much of them is pony and how much of them is the other species; or maybe it depends on whatever whoever interpreted a fusion thinks
