Blu would hold the device such that the line was clearly visible, asking Alpha, "Supposing this is leading us to a tower, about how far away is it? Is there even one in this direction?"

 

(Fuoco)

Fuoco looked thoughtful before nodding. "It's a sound plan, but likely best if I didn't lead, as I don't know where we're going. I think my talents would work best at the rear, bolstering those at the back of the evacuation and guarding the rear. Even better if I can be pulled on a cart, I play best when I don't have to also move."

She pulled out her flute and moved towards the middle of the gathering, "For now though..."

She sat down to play another tune, one that, although melancholic in tone, served to bolster those who could hear it. It wouldn't raise their spirits so much as it would bolster their resolve. It wasn't a tune of celebration, but of confidence. It would also speed their natural healing and energy recovery, as before.

It wasn't a long song, only a few minutes, then Fuoco would stop and return to her seat. "Come morning, we should all be ready to move. In fact, we should probably start before the sun rises, if at all possible."

She'd then fly up to see more, but wouldn't take long.

She'd descend and inform the others. "The tower has fallen, most likely abandoned as well. We can scavenge food and parts there, but. It looks like its fall was recent."

" so cozy, know anything about it perhaps?" 

Cozy would meekly reply.

" no, Alpha."

 

Fuoco

Misty would panic, as she worries her patient hasn't fully recovered yet. But wouldn't like to disturb her performance.

The group however seems to have their hopes lifted once more, as Fuoco heals them up.

But not long, Diamond Tiara and her group guarding outside would enter the inn.

Their face was down, but as soon as they saw Fuoco, it quickly turned upside down.

" FUOCO!" Tiara excitedly exclaimed.

Shed quickly come over her and give a quick hug.

" you doing okay?"

Apple Bloom was also with her and would give a smile.

" well look at you to. It's like ya havent seen each other in years?" She jest.

Gruit would interrupt Apple Bloom though, as he seems he needs an answer from her.

" oh right. Good news. i was able to make contact with a dear friend of mine. It seems Sweetie bell was able to secure and fortify one of the headquarters up north. It's close to the Crystal empire."

Gruit ale would give a sigh of relief on the good news.

" then tomorrow we leave as planned."

Soon after Kuya would enter with his team, tired and defeated.

He'd sit next to the mayor and request.

" we'd like a drink to the ones we lost." Hed present the weapons of his fallen comrades and one of it was a rifle.

" may you rest in piece."

"Sharp Eye, buck tooth, hill billy... You'll be missed."

Hed give a toast and chug his drink.

" hey thats mine..." a rando guard said.

Gruit would just give the guard another one and signal him to let him be.

" heroes all of them." Gruit added.

Basher would stand up and would excuse herself.

" my shift is up." Shed nod to everyone and heads out the door.

The ones resting in the inn starts their shift as well and went of to guard the night as the one who just got in rest for their next shift. Once more the place is miserable.

Misty would look worried at Fuoco once more and would suggest:

" please rest. you've done enough. Let this one take its course naturally. If you want, let me do the healing instead okay?"

Misty suggested.

Tiara would frown a bit as she seems to know whats happening.

" Fuoco... Rest okay? You've done so much already."

"Well the sun's set and a little drink can help this eyes ta shut... Well yer  eyes that is..." Apple Bloom jest.

Blu frowned, "Let's keep the personal attacks to a minimum going forward, okay? If it doesn't advance our objectives, keep it to yourself. That being said, our primary objective now is getting back in contact with Starlight, or if she is incapacitated, whoever would be in charge after her. Secondary objectives, gathering any supplies we can use to protect ourselves. We don't know how far we're going to have to travel, nor what dangers we'll encounter, so we want to be prepared for anything."

Blu would continue following the path set by the line. "Let's make for the tower today, take shelter there for the night and figure out where we should head next. Since it is already fallen, hopefully it won't be too conspicuous, and we'll be able to rest well tonight before traveling fresh in the morning."

 

(Fuoco)

Fuoco was inwardly unimpressed that only three had apparently fallen. She hoped that it was just those who had fallen recently, and others had been honored already, because if they were all that had fallen, and the rest were this depressed by it, they knew nothing about the horrors of survival. She'd personally seen ten times that number fall before she had been overrun in her final battle, and twice that number before them in the days leading up to it.

She subtly shook off those thoughts, some ponies simply weren't prepared for battle like she was. These ponies were a softer sort, who had never needed to know the hardships she had, and that ought to be appreciated, not derided.

Alpha would show her irritation towards by clicking her tongue and scratching her head.

" tsk... Lets go then." She'd then nudge Cozy glow to move forward, which she could only comply and follow.

Shallow would show a bit of cringe to Alpha's action but could not interrupt.

She'd look at Blu and shrug and shake his head in disagreement.

" i know she did something bad.... But...i dont think she has the right to judge her." Shallow small talked to Blu.

As the hours past no ambush would meet their demise. Only an abandoned worn down tower.

" the tower may be toppled but i think its still working. The problem is who do we trust?" Alpha left a question to everyone.

It seems everyone has the potential to be manipulated.

As they entered Alpha would know where shed go and entered a specific room. There she can be heard rummaging some stuff.

She'd say aloud from that room: " the next room is probably the lounge, where the kitchen and locker room might be located. Im just gonna check the coms here if any still work and use the radio." She muttered.

Shark would just shrug and head for the lounge room. While Cozy would follow shark and avoid the COMS room where Alpha is.

Fuoco.

For a small village like this one, losing one friend is painful and is a big blow to their already small army. Losing 3 from a population of 50 is quite a big blow to them. Especially if one could not replenish their numbers, and the enemy is ever expanding.

Misty would sense that her patient Fuoco is troubled for some reason.

"Perhaps there's something that bothers you? A pain somewhere? Tell me if so?"

As Misty worries for Fuoco's health, Apple bloom seems to be busy with her devices and Tiara is curious as what she's up to.

".... i think i made contact with ponyville?" Apple Bloom said, bewildered.

Blu would follow Alpha into the coms room, curious to see what this world had in terms of long distance communications. He would not have been surprised if it were just a set of telegraphs, though given the earpiece that had led them here he hoped for something a bit more advanced.

"If you can get a message out, we should warn them about Beta. Even if you don't trust what Cozy said, we shouldn't bet everyone's lives on her being wrong. If Beta has been compromised, or replaced, the others should know to be wary of communication coming from her, or someone who claims to be her."

 

If the technology present was sufficiently powerful, Blu would look into seeing if he could work something similar to what he had done with the earpiece, and see which direction any other earpieces were with respect to the tower. A large grouping of them would given them an idea of which direction a haven might be.

It was clear by her tone that she truly was envious of their position. There was a bit of... something positive... within her that her efforts might allow some ponies the ability to continue to be soft, rather than be hardened by the horrors they would experience without her protection.

-Blu- part 1

Alpha would flinch at what he had to say about Beta. But she would shrug it off and continue to find something in the room.

Inside Blu would see old models of somewhat of a radio. But it seems to be designed differently than what he'd expected. But wasn't to a point that he couldnt recognize it. There where antennas and mouth pieces on some devices but somewhat designed to be used by ponys or hoofy( handy) for ponys.

It seems Alpha found what she was looking for and proceeded to jack some things on it and proceeded to mess with it.

She began to speak.

" Alpha on duty, Alpha on command, priority on my side.

Code Red."

" damn it answer...."

She'd repeat it once more. Just to make sure that the first message she made wasnt interrupted.

She waited for a few seconds and an audible Click would be heard.

" this heres Apple Bloom i hear ya Alpha, over."

Alpha gave a shocked expression and tears begin to drip on her eyes.

" she's alive." She whispered.

She begins to panic though.

" W-WHERE ARE YOU! WHAT HAPPENED? IS THE PRINCESS.. NO EVERYONE IN PONYVILLE! WHAT HAPPENED?"

Everyone in the room was curious and the voice sounded familiar 

Apple Bloom would flinch and recognize the voice immediately. 

" well shoot its Scootaloo..."

Shed give a sad expression to her face, but would soon snap out of it and reply.

" this heres Apple Bloom i hear ya Alpha, over."

" ... " the brick would stay silent.

" well shoot, whats taking her so long to answer? She still ain't mad is she?"

She would soon be interrupted by the panicked brick.

" W-WHERE ARE YOU! WHAT HAPPENED? IS THE PRINCESS.. NO EVERYONE IN PONYVILLE! WHAT HAPPENED?" 

Apple bloom would get shocked by the sudden out burst of the device that she almost dropped it.

" Dag nabit MARE! Ya almost made me drop ma device!? Calm down!"

Seeing this Diamond Tiara would eventually get curious and speak up to the device as well.

" is that you Scootaloo?"

".... yeah... So is everyone alright? Where did they sent ponyville? Who attacked you? Do you need back up? Ill come rescue you!"

" what in the hay are you talkin about?"

Apple bloom would give a curious but displeased look at what Alpha is mumbling on about.

" have ya gone too fast and hit your head again? I told ya that pegasi is a bad influence on ya."

The radio has gone silent for a bit.

" you have to bring that up?" Tiara asked her.

".... Slip of the tongue...." She cringed and felt awful.

"... What in tartarus does this has to do with anything!" The brick replied.

"Shoot umm forget a said somethin. Anyway just make sense already girl! What're  ya mumbling on about ponyville? We aren't there! Actually you guys are there! So why'd you go on and look fer yaself?"

once more the radio has gone silent.

" tsk what has happened to that gal..." Apple bloom displeased.

seeing this, Tiara was a bit heart broken, and sad. Misty would try to comfort Tiara.

While the resting the room is confused and started to chatter to one another.

Gruit Ale would ask Tiara.

" so what now? A change of plans?"

" we arent for certain." She nods in disagreement.

 

-Blu- part 2

But soon a voice familiar to her would speak out from the device.

Her stomach began to growl and she'd soon drop to her knees. Her eyes seems to be fading and staring at the distance. She seems about to faint.

Meanwhile on the other end of the line.

"... what in tarnation!?... Is that you Blu?" Apple bloom asked.

" hey its me! The blind mare with ya in the castle. And what're ya on about Beta and Ponyville? Also, disabled an alicorn? Kill!?"

The team looked at each other.

" Does the alicorn have many wings and grotesque in nature? Then praise be to ye. But if not your in a lot of trouble mister." She answered.

"Damn it where are you!" Alpha interrupted.

" rude much..." Apple bloom was taken aback.

But luckily Tiara was there to follow up on the matter.

" well this morning we plan on heading north towards the Crystal Empssshhhhhh....."

The signal was cut.

Alpha was staring at the map the whole time checking the movements of the dots.

"I know where they are....  "

She'd then slump down and cry hard.

"Why is this happening..."

"Crystal empire, where sweetie bell has made a refuge we can-" she was interrupted by Apple bloom stopped her.

" the mild static on my com is gone... We got cut off..."

"... meaning?"

" somepony doesn't want us communicating..."

He took a few deep breaths, "You ponies and your lack of focus, control, you're going to get yourselves all killed."

He turned his gaze on Alpha, "What happened to the hardened killer? Who had no qualms with murdering a child? Pull yourself together mare, we need to find them before they can be lured into a trap."

 

He wouldn't wait for a response, moving to where the other two were, "Pack up whatever you can carry that we can use, I don't think this place will be safe for long."

He'd then come back to the first room, gathering whatever tech seemed salvageable and compatible with the Kernel. He spoke softer this time, "If this kills us, I hope our warning was soon enough to save others."

Fuoco looked concerned, especially as the signal was cut off. "Who is agent Beta? and, wasn't Ponyville where we started? Maybe that's why Starlight didn't come when we gave the signal."

The purple infection starts to boil a bit and mists starts to come out.

" so which is it that you all really want!? Coz i have no problem killing an ODT."

She'd start to stand up and look at you in all angles. 

" ahhh.. are you really a child? You said it yourself right? You're not really... You... Urghhh.."

Her head seems to hurt a lot as she keeps pressing her hoof on her head.

" the last time i trusted your kind cursed me, took Alpha's eyes and disabled Beta.

Now everyone says to trust you."

" wa---what what what did i do wrong?"

Shallow would crash through the door.

" Bro RUN!!"

Seeing her  burst through the door, Blu wouldn't recognize her at first.

She appears to have grown a bit, grew shark fins and claws on her hooves, and her fangs bigger than usual. Her eyes pouring out mist of purple and the infection in her is growing. 

It was enough to distract Alpha at her bad state, that Shallow could quickly tackle her hard that they went thru the wall and into another room.

You hear a faint laughter from a distance echoing somewhere. 

[ stay ]

Blu heard inside his head.

The voice sounded like him?

It felt like talking to himself... But not? It felt... Like a DREAM.

(Will blu listen to Shallow or the voice inside him?)

This did not calm the room as more questions un answered spread.

The noise of the chatter increase.

Gruit ale would try to calm the situation and did calm the room quite a bit.

" EVERYONE! lets take this as a good sign and make some changes in our plans. Place your trust on us! We will survive. And for that we need to be calm and focused."

 this would snap Tiara from her confused thoughts, but Apple bloom seems to have a plan already.

" well whatevr ya got for me Beta ya best be able ta handle me then." She'd crash the mug she's been drinking into her device. Breaking the table with it and turning it into dust, showing how terribly strong this pony actually is.

" am sorry everyone. I brought the infected here." She gracefully bowed down.

" i was bugged and ended up bringing the infected to us."

Gruit would break the silence though.

" but do you have ta brake one of ma tables..."

" sorry bout that." She apologized once more.

But one pony stood up and went near her.

It was Kuya.

As soon as Apple bloom lifted her head to confront him face to face, Kuya walloped Apple bloom real hard on her face.

Apple bloom flinched and blood came out of her mouth.

Her composure still intact and still standing, while Kuya was on his knees and her hoof that contacted Apple Blooms face was in deep pain.

" DAMN MARE!? WHAT IS YOUR FACE MADE OUT OF!?" the shocked Kuya screamed.

The mare would spit out some blood and answer.

" wouldn't you like ta know." She stared him down good.

Kuya could only submit to her.

" surely that punch of yers could've knocked someone off their hooves right? I guess we're even now." 

Her aura on the room felt like everyone's being stared down by her  even though she is blind folded.

Gruit would apologize for Kuya and for everyone as well.

" please. Forgive this idiot." He'd clobber Kuya on the head.

"You meant no harm and you wouldn't know yourself correct?"

She sighed deeply.

" well kinda."

She'd then bow down to Fuoco and Tiara.

" i think its also my fault back in the everfree forest too, my friendship clouded my judgement and just put us in trouble... I probably aided on whatever happened in ponyville. Knowing Beta... Ahh... she's a smart one i tell ya. She may be handicaped but that doesn't mean she aint usin her noggin."

" anyway... Im still heading to Beta. you all be best head straight to the Crystal empire... That is IF its still there..."

Blu was somewhat surprised by Alpha's violent outburst, but he was ready to fire on her with his pistol before Shallow entered the fight and took it outside.

Blu would hardly notice the voice in his head as he closed up the Kernel and prepared to get moving again, his full rifle at the ready. "Cozy! If you're still alive back there it's time to move. Likely not going to be safe here much longer. I'll wait outside a few minutes for you, but otherwise I'm not sticking around."

That said he'd take the safest way out of the tower and make for whatever cover was nearby, likely trees, and only once safe would he survey the situation, getting ready to attack if he proved to be in danger.

If he needed to fire on Alpha, he'd aim to paralyze her if possible, disable her otherwise, not wanting to outright kill her just yet.

His hoof wasn't the only thing about to be in pain as Fuoco, acting mostly on instinct due to the charged room, delivered a buck of her own to try and knock Kuya away. While Fuoco was not as strong as a normal earth pony would be, due to her focus on musical studies, she wasn't a slouch either. So it was unlikely to seriously injure Kuya, but given his already weakened stance it should at least knock him over.

 the next morning. you'd wake up on a Shakey carriage. 

There Tiara, Misty, Basher, Light and Griff are guarding you.

There, Griff would brake the silence.

" told you it was shakey for her. You woke her up."

It appears that Light and Tiara were the ones pulling the carriage.

" Sorry about that Fuoco, but this is the best carriage the village could offer."

Tiara would only angrily stare at Griff to shut him up. Which he did.

And as Fuoco fully wake. She'd see that they are at the front and at the back 5 more carriages follow and about 5 on each carriage a guard would be seen surrounding it.

The carriages can easily carry 10 ponys without luggages.

Further in the back the young and able would walk.

Misty who is still healing you would ask.

" are you better now?"

While Basher seems to be feeling down in the slumps.

He wasn't going to mess with that.

As he hadn't seen any sign of Cozy, neither before he left the tower nor now, he could only assume that she was presently incapacitated or dead, and either case would not improve his chances of survival. He was not going to risk his life to save her, not this time. It was time for him to go dark, see if he could find anything useful, and wait for things to calm down.

He would move deeper into the forest, enough to be hidden from the tower, then tighten up his packed gear, cover himself in the hiding cloak, and start moving away. He didn't have much of a direction in mind at the moment, other than away from the sounds of fighting. Once he couldn't hear the fighting anymore he would count in his head, continuing to move until 600 seconds had passed since he heard a sound, then stopping at the next area that looked defensible.

If possible, he would replicate his first night here in this strange and hostile world, climbing a tree to protect himself from the ground predators, only this time he had the cloak to further hide himself from anyone looking for him.

Then, he would rest, and wait to see what the morning brought.

"You'd think it would hurt less this time. It's not like this is your first time being betrayed."

Fuoco's sleep was far from restful.

"Look at you, failed again. At least your sister had the good sense to die from her failures."

Due to how she had been incapacitated, at the peak of her fervor and suddenly, a bit of her magic was still active in her mutterings. Visually it was nothing more than sparks, not hot enough to catch anything, but emotionally, there was the influence, putting everyone who heard her murmurs on edge, like they weren't safe, like someone near to them intended harm.

"We're all dead, what's your excuse?"

"Consume the world... that's what it deserves..."

"Make her the center of the pyre."

It took Fuoco a bit to fully understand what as going on, but she wouldn't respond to the words being spoken around her. There was no music in them, no power, only noise. There was a fire in her eyes, an anger, a cold fury within her.

If her flute was not with her, or was not visible to her she would coldly state: "Bring me my flute, now." She wouldn't look at anyone in particular as she waited.

Once she had it, she would play, a cold tune that chilled all who heard it, but restored Fuoco to full strength.

She would stow the flute securely on her person.

"What happened?"

Her furious gaze would turn on any who spoke without answering the question.

 

If her flute was not given to her, her reaction would depend on the circumstances:

1. If they said it had been left behind, Fuoco would immediately step off of the cart, and start walking back towards the town.
2. If they said it had been broken or damaged, her fury would grow and she would demand to know who had damaged it.
3. If they said she should not have it, she would move towards whoever had said so and demand it again.

 

In any of these outcomes, it would be clear to all present that Fuoco was NOT happy with this outcome.

Not long before the sun would rise, Blu woke up from something moving above the trees.

There, Atop a tree he sees Alpha. Staring blankly at a distance.

And the one eyed creature spitting pollens above her.

It's eyes move from left to right zigzagging everywhere. Trying to find something. Or someone.

Misty would quickly give the flute and try to put in a word but she couldn't as Fuoco forcefully grabbed the flute and played.

The tune would be heard by everyone.

Luckily Light was near, hence his sword that absorbs magic would defend its user and try to absorb the threat.

Hence would not badly affect everyone, although some of Fuoco's magic would still hit everyone else but to a lesser degree.

 

Everyone was at shock at what has just happened.

Basher would quickly try and shield Misty, while Griff would be scared enough to fall from the carriage while White unsheathes his sword to block the incoming music towards him and tiara.

White noticed that something was off, and as a knight he provoke's Fuoco to focus on him.

" hey FUOCO! TO ME! CALM DOWN! OVER HERE! I HAVE YOUR ANSWERS!"

he taps his sheath with his sword to attract her while the rest stay silent.

Blu took a small amount of pride at the fact that he had not yet been discovered, though it was clear enough that those two were either looking for him, or for one of the other two who had made their escape as well.

While he was tempted to just take Alpha out then and there, he wanted his revenge on her to be more personal, something she would see coming and be powerless to stop, like he had been when she tried to kill him.

The floating ball though, he had no qualms with destroying. The tree wouldn't support the shot though, so he had to quietly descend the tree, then find a gap in the leaves that he could see the ball through, aim carefully, charge the weapon, place a fire enchantment on the round, and fire.

 

Just as before, he would start moving immediately after firing, moving perpendicular to his previous course to move in a circle around where he thought the ball was. Both to distance himself from where the bullet came from, and to maintain distance in case it wasn't killed.

Though the former might not be an issue, given the lack of ear protection the opponents had.

 

(Fuoco)

Her gaze centered on White, eyebrow raised. She didn't speak, as she had already asked the question and he claimed to have the answer.

The eye ball bursts and the pollen fades slowly.

Alpha would vanish and be at Blu's back pointing a knife.

Her body shakes as she begins to regain her body.

she'd eventually sheath back her knife.

" ssshit..." she stuttered.

She'd kneel down. " you saved me yet again." She can only look down on the ground, frustrated on what happened to her.

" we need to go back for Shallow and Cozy... I- I did a lot of number on her. Hopefully she's still alive."

Her head is still lowered infront of Blu.

If he'd point his gun she would not flinch and continue to lower herself.

 

-Fuoco-

Seeing that he has gotten her attention and was a bit calmed down.

"After Apple Bloom assaulted you we all tried to pin her down and stop her."

Griff would interrupt. " which was one of the stupidest plan we ever made." He said while still in his fallen position.

Light would stare coldly to Griff to shut up.

"S-she was too strong for us apparently. She bolted towards north and with that speed, im sure she'd reach the Crystal empire by nightfall."

" We-we dont know where else to go... So we'd head to the Crystal empire to check if it still stands  if not we head to the griffons or the dragon's lair."

The rest would stay put and quiet as they do not wish to stress her out. Except for griff though.

Although a commotion would start at the back.

He'd motion for her to lead the way back to the tower, on the one hand because he didn't want to let her out of his sight, and on the other because he didn't know the way back to the tower. But he wasn't about to admit to that.

Fuoco's expression softened, slightly. "I consider her escape an inexcusable failure, but the fault is not entirely yours. I should have seen her betrayal coming, been ready for it. I won't be so easily defeated a second time."

Her expression hardened at the commotion. She would move to investigate, "Anyone in this party dies, I'll hold her personally responsible. Keep this group moving, but be safe about it. I've no doubt we're walking into a trap."

 he would end up hitting Alpha on the cheek. Her head would only tilt a little and some blood would trickle off her mouth. But this didn't faze her and easily shrugged it off.

Probably helped her get back into her senses quicker.

" I won't..." she replied with a calmer than she usually speak.

Alpha would lead them both back to the tower, in a hurry. It seems she's worried.

Both of you easily maneuvered through the forest and back the tower, noticing that Alpha also had healed up and regained her strength.

There half of the already worn down tower is in rubble. There Alpha quickly went to and began digging out sum rubble. Perhaps thats where the fight between Shallow and Alpha took place.

Alpha can easily pick up rubble twice his weight, and push off 4x her weight.

Sooner or later she'd find Shallow, asleep and well.

She'd give a sigh of relief.

"Thank Celestia she's alive..."

As Fuoco investigates she sees the one causing the commotion.

A yellow furred, wavey pink maned mare, has blue and red eyes and a scar running down her cheek being noisy and is a bother.

Just by looking at the crowd, one can easily segregate her. And Fuoco could definitely distinguish this mare not part of their group.

Both would gaze upon each other, and seeing her smile shows a villainous intent as you look deeper into her abyss.

" YES MA'AM!" She replied.

There wasn't any of Blu's normal accusatory tone in that question, it was simply asking if they needed to search for her too, or if it was time to move on.

 

If Alpha said that Cozy still needed searching for, then Blu would wait. If instead she said she was dead or had run away Blu would simply nod, "Let's get moving then. You know where we ought to go next?"

The pony's throat node was unlikely to have been developed beyond the magic necessary to participate in the shared song and dance ponies did on occasion, so Fuoco would have no difficulty disabling it with a simple command:

"Caesura."

The pony would be instantly silenced, "Keep moving everyone." She would motion for the others to continue, but would keep her focus on the pony.

"Take a step forward, and die."

Fuoco's earlier attacks, her hesitation, were due to her wanting to be accepted by the ponies around her, but that had only gotten her betrayed. These ponies would learn to fear her instead, to respect her as a relentless defender that they ought not offend.

When it came to ponies, the size of the eyes left the brain more exposed than in other creatures. Against a single opponent, her voice would be enough to burn through the eyes directly into the brain. And Fuoco would not hesitate if this pony stepped forward.

Fuoco was done showing mercy, the warmth she once had replaced by a cold blue flame.

She then looked at Shallow then to you.

Alpha tried to wake her up gently, but she'd just mumble and enjoy her sleep. 

" theres no way she'd.... Eat her right? Even though she transformed she was able to control it longer than me."

As the dust settled,

On the other side of the tower where the place is still intact and was not destroyed by the battle. A Shine of Light can be seen sparkling out from one of the door's window.

" thats where they were supposed to gather food." Alpha said.

[Original(prime) Light is 10 hence he has an X for a cutie mark. They are one of original experiments. Hence not as powerful as white Light but still she's implanted with Chrysalis' crystal which absorbs non changeling magic.

She can 4th wall and use it in a brutal way but your brutality would spark her insanity on liking you. She hates white light, so seeing your white light might make her grin and plot. You can see her lore on one of the links of Fail safe.]

Fuoco felt the magic fail, seeing as she hadn't been able to grip the throat node with her command. This gave her pause, as she had not yet met anyone immune to her sort of magic. This one was obviously protected somehow, perhaps the enemy had learned something from her attack on the alicorn before.

Still, this pony seemed to understand, as it remained where it ought to while she watched.

Fuoco waited for the group to gain some distance before turning to follow.

Fuoco also sensed a leaf falling down from you.... But there is no tree near enough to even shade you?

As soon as it gets near her it starts to vibrate.

No answer was given

Alpha would insist on him that she'll be infront and guard him. 

" let me be infront of you. I can easily block or dodge  anything waiting for us At that door." ( if not Alpha would still be curious to see what's in there, so she'd be tagging along at his back.)

As the door opens there they see Cozy glow shinning. 

" what in tartarus!?" Alpha shouted out of no where.

Cozy's shine vanishes and revealed to everyone that she has a horn now.

" why dear Celestia why? Why her...." Alpha seemingly lost all will.

"... she's an alicorn... Great."

Fuoco's senses weren't nearly that strong, nor were they strong enough to know how many and in what form ponies were coming towards her. She only even hoped to know which was the group was by the rumbling of several dozen hooves in a concentrated area. Her ears were not so well tuned as to detect a single pony walking any further away than beside her, much less a pony flapping.

So she was unaware of the creatures approaching and the leaf falling, nor would she notice it vibrating unless it made a sound, and even then she would assume it was a large bug.

reluctantly Alpha had to check on Cozy glow's body.

" well ... You might be right...." she sighed.

She ended up carrying Cozy Glow and dragging Shallow by the tail as the group tried to travel. It would only take a few seconds for shallow to wake up and cry about how she was handled.

" Damn it!" Shallow yelped as her forehead hit a rock.

" hey you. What happened to her? She wasnt like this when she was with you." Alpha nonchalantly asked Shallow.

" oh that? She began transforming like me and you remember? Although I've gotten used to it and can control that form of mine, while you went berserk and Cozy went to a comma after the purple thing on her neck started to spread." She explained.

" NO i mean why did she become an alicorn!? Tsk! No no ..it would be insane if youd know how one turns into an alicorn in the first place." 

"...HEY why did you carry her and i got dragged by the rail!?"

" shes lighter than you and an alicorn. Don't expect me to carry you...plus i dug you out didnt i?"

(Fuoco can tell what direction the large group is, and about where 7 is when 7 is speaking or walking. If 7 stops making noise or gets more than a few lengths away from her then Fuoco won't know where she is.
