Mane6's evil abilities.

If any of the mane6 every turned to the dark side: how or why (excluding somepony's mind altering magic)? what would they do? how evil would they be? what would be there undoing?(Feel free to go outside the mane6)

 

Rainbow: How: Loyalty to villain

Evilness level: 5/10

Evil Deeds: theft, destrution of property, betrayal, endangerment, assult, electricution.

 

Twilight: How: magic power overload/gollum style breakdown

Evilness level:8/10

Evil Deeds: Destrution, assult on princess(es), assult on friends, endangerment, electricution/burning.

 

Rarity: How: Greed or kidnapped sister

Evilness level: 8/10

Evil Deeds: Assult, manipulation, endangerment, grand theft.

 

AJ: How: Pride or kidnapped family

Evilness: 6/10

Evil Deeds: Assult, buck to face, deception, foalnapping.

 

Pinkie: How: Tricked or being pinkie(not a bad thing)

Evilness: 6/10

Evil deeds: foalnapping (all I got really )

 

Fluttershy: Anger or revenge

Evilness: 7/10

Evil Deeds: Assult, animal abuse, use of animals to commite crimes,destrution.

 

All would be defeated my cockyness, the elements, or coming to their senses.

A good evil motivation to add to Pinkie:

Abandoned by friends, betrayed.

 

Pinkie clearly has abandonment issues (seen on the episode Party of One) so that could easily send her down an evil path. She does appear to be the most mentally unstable of the 6.

 

Evil Deeds that could also be added with this:

Assault, destruction of property, sabotage, vandalism, endangerment, foalnapping, disturbing the peace, (public psychotic meltdown) and of course, if one takes the Cupcakes fiasco as a possibility, murder and ponyslaughter.

 

I think that Pinkie is one of the more dangerous ones should she turn evil. You don't know what to expect.

However who would be the most evil, I'll give that to Fluttershy and Pinkie. FS can have the most hateful and sadistic personality(ironically) and God only know what Pinkie is capable of.

First of all, *assault. (Normally not a spelling person but you used that a lot in your initial post.

 

I could see them going a little evil. Fluttershy got the closest already.

 

And Pinkie didn't really go evil. She just sort of had a psychotic break. Obviously some bigger issues there but nothing that would necessarily make her a danger to anyone but herself. I'll have to think on how the others could flip though.

 

AJ only ever seems to get more determined when her sister goes missing. Same with Rarity. Though I think Rarity has potential when she gets in the "Type of pony every pony should know" kinds of situations.

This ended up being longer than I thought it would, so I put each character in spoilers.

 

Rainbow Dash

 

 

I could see dashie going evil after a particularly intense betrayal. I'm not sure if she would ever be loyal to a villain, but if something happened and the mane 6 or Celestia betrayed her or cut her off somehow, I think she'd take it extremely hard. 

Although I don't think she'd ever switch loyalties to a villain, if Celestia went evil somehow, I think rainbow would be the last of the mane 6 to realize it, and it would be extremely easy for Celestia to bring her over to her side. 

I'm not sure she'd really even be evil in this state. She'd likely still believe she was doing the right thing by following the princess. More likely than not, she'd want to help the rest of the mane 6 see things the "right" way as well. But, of course, she'd be quick to fight them if they refused. This is still RD we're talking about.

 

 

Twilight Sparkle

 

 

I could easily see Twi turning evil during the course of her studies. She is quite naive, so if she was presented with some sort of dark magic, I think she would want to study it. Even if she learned it was a source of terrible power, she'd want to find a way to control it and use its power for good,  and it would probably work for a while. But, inevitably, she would begin to go further and further until the powers presented by dark magic seduced and corrupted her. At that point, she likely begin to see just how powerful she could become, doing anything it took to increase her power. She'd stop caring about anything else, and lose her morals. At that point, I could even see her thinking of others as lesser beings than her, and not worthy of attention. Twilight could definitely go full evil, driven by her own thirst for knowledge. 

 

 

 

Rarity 

 

 

Actually, I don't think Rarity would ever go evil just out of greed. I think if she went evil some other way, she'd begin to lose her natural generosity and start doing things motivated by greed, but that wouldn't be the cause of her descent. 

I think the only thing that would push her over the edge would be if someone kidnapped or killed sweetie bell. We saw how crushed she was when sweetie bell didn't like her, and to be fair, that was just a sibling fight. I could see her going all out to save or avenge her sister. Now, this wouldn't really be evil, this would be more of a "bad things for a good reason" (in the case of a kidnapping), or vengeance (in the case of killing). Although, in the latter case, after she had gotten revenge, I doubt she would get be the same, and I think that she might become a lot less good, but not necessarily evil. At that point, I think that other things, continued attacks on her friends and family, theft of her stuff, that sort of thing, could push her into evil territory. But even then, I still don't think she be full evil, but simply somebody who want to improve the world, but thinks that the best way to do that is to strike directly at ponies she thinks are evil. Kinda like the ninjas in Batman Begins.

Ironically, I think AJs downfall would be almost exactly like Rarity's; repeated attacks on her family leading her to turn to drastic measures to avenge them. 

Seriously, I could copy/paste my thoughts on rarity, ctrl+F to change the names, and it would fit.

 

 

 

Pinkie Pie

 

 

Pinkie does indeed have separation anxiety. Not only did she start to lose it, she seemed genuinely pissed while interrogating Spike in Party of One. If she found that her friends had betrayed her in some way, not just wanting to break off their friendship, but betraying her in some incredibly harsh way, I could see her snapping and going psychotic. Now I'm not sure if that qualifies as evil, but I could definitely see her committing acts generally accepted as being evil to get back at her former friends. 

I think she would use her Pinkie ingenuity to try and destroy her former friends lives, ruin all of their still existing friendships, and just generally make them as miserable as she was. Then she'd probably invite/force them all to some sort of twisted party and rub it in all of their faces.

 

 

Fluttershy

 

 

Fluttershy has already shown evil potential on her own when she took her assertiveness training too far. There were a few times when she really seemed to enjoy having that much power, and I could easily see her exerting power over others just to watch them suffer. It's a short jump from that to straight up sadism. 

Now, whether she'd be cruel to animals or not, I'm not sure. I think she might be cruel to some, but kind to others. I definitely think she'd use animals to carry out her dastardly deeds, though.

Well we already saw the Discorded Mane 6, that's about as evil as I think there gonna get. So I may have a better idea;

 

Instead of having one or more of the Mane 6 turn evil why not have the "Bizzaro" Mane 6? Like their own Venom or Wario. I'm not sure how they would be created. Maybe Discord makes them in the same way Mojo Jojo made The Rowdyruff Boys or something. Their could even be the Elements of Disharmony.

I think the most dangerous would be Twilight, she is the most powerful unicorn who possibly has the ability to rival the princesses and all that power could easily harm anypony. After that comes Fluttershy, she's already shown she's not that soft. It's like she's an evil monster beneath a cute and innocent disguise that could be provoked with some effort.
