lomk 20,663 October 24, 2014 Share October 24, 2014 (edited) It's been a while since I last posted here so I guess I'll share what I'm sporting now Wallpapers on my desktop computer. A couple of my favorite games And here are the screens for my phone, which I have carefully themed My cell phone only has three possible home screens 1. The lock screen. Pretty self-explanatory 2. The main home screen - This holds all my things at a glance: clock, calendar, and weather. All of these are clickable and I think it's pretty obvious where they would take you. 3. The secondary home screen - This holds my music player and the 12 applications I think I click on most. Some notes: I only have two home screens. I've seen a lot of people on Android using about 4 or 5. I am using ADW Launcher EX instead of Samsung's TouchWiz. I don't really care for it and ADW Launcher has so many more customization options anyway. The reason I only have two is because I've enabled infinite scrolling, which means if I swipe right on the screen on the right side (the secondary home screen), it cycles back to the main screen. In other words, if I had 5 home screens, I would just cycle through them all endlessly. The perk of having only two screens is that no matter which way I swipe my home screen, I will never end up on the wrong home screen. I like having next to nothing on my home screen because one of the biggest turnoffs for me when I was using iOS was that, even though I could have a wallpaper, the icons took up all the space on my screen. I couldn't see the wallpaper for the icons, ya know? And you even see it with people who post screenshots of their iPhones. I just didn't like that, which was one of the main reasons I switched to Android. The openness of my main (and even the secondary) home screen makes actually seeing my wallpaper much easier. I also like ADW Launcher because it gives me the option of locking my icons. I used to accidentally drag things all the time and it would screw up the placement of my icons and widgets. Not like it was a lot of work to put them back, but it was annoying. If you want to theme your Android like mine, let me know. It'd be long but I'll be happy to tell you. When I first themed my Android like this, I played around with it for about 7 hours or so before it was perfect so it does take some work, but once you have it all customized to your liking, the Android operating system is beautiful. Also the blacked out words on my main home screen...those are my parents names.
