general questions Ask a pony RP question

A short but general question about the forum Ask a pony. 

Can you RP as a character on there for the purpose of practicing RP as that character?

In other words instead of me doing an "ask Star heart" can I create an "Ask Luna" or "Ask AJ" etc thread to practice being that character or if the answer is  then is there an area in the forums where one can practice their character but not engage in  an active RP?
