Hari Libur is the Overland's equivalent of Equestria's Hearth's Warming. One obvious difference is that snow doesn’t exist in the Overland because it’s a tropical country. Also, Hari Libur is different from Hearth's Warming in many ways. For instance, Hari Libur lasts for 2 days instead of 1. It usually occurs in the 3rd weekend of December. (this year's Hari Libur is the 21st and the 22nd.) Overlanders do spend Hari Libur with family and friends, but they also have their own traditions. The main tradition that overlanders, both land and water type takes part in is throwing coloured powder at each other. The reason why overlanders do this tradition because it represents unity and harmony. Overlanders who take part in the coloured powder throwing wear white clothes (except for water overlanders.) because it represents equality. Hari Libur isn’t only known for coloured powder. It’s also known for fireworks, delicious food, giving out presents and being with friends and family. Hari Libur has been celebrated by overlanders for about 1000 years now. Btw, the words Hari Libur means holiday in Indonesian. You might notice that I included Rainbow Dash in the picture. I included her because I’d imagine Rainbow Dash would be fascinated by the colourful powder throwing and that she would want to join in. One more thing, on the 1st day of Hari Libur, there would usually be some sort of a parade. The parade size would vary depending on the island you’re in.

If you have any questions about Hari Libur, please ask and I’ll answer the best I can!

Very awesome lore and artwork as always, Lnx1y! I love your little Indonesian references with the Overlands(I believe you have done it before in the past), in this case, "Hari Libur" which roughly translates to "holiday" or "vacation", I believe. I think it's interesting how it's in a tropical setting, but they throw "colored powder" at each other while wearing white clothes, it reminds me of snowball fights in a way, but I know they symbolize unity and equality. Hari Libur sounds like a lovely holiday in the Overland.

Btw these overlanders I’ve drawing are from different islands. Gerhana, Juniper, Chasma and Gamma are from Summer Island. Lnx1y and Lala are from Jawu Island. Nova is from Kalamari Island. Bintang is from Lalui Island, but she grow up in the Dragon Lands. Aurora is from Crescent Island, which is apart of the Rai Islands.

If you have any questions regarding this post, I’ll be glad to answer them.
