*After witnessing the overpowerful ray of destructive energy unleashed by S̵͕͍̾̋h̶̨̥͇̤̀i̷͙̣̩̣̳̒̽̏̚n̵͚͓͔̊y̷̧̛͉͉͎̐, Croissanto who was still laying on the now slightly carbonized stage couldn't help but make a pun out of this horrifying situation.*

Croissanto : "I didn't expect the Big Goof Off to be such a BLAST!"

*The shockwave produced by the Hidden Side Ray itself was enough to blow the candles and spill the buckets of water surrounding the otherworldly unicorn. Without anything keeping her from moving freely anymore, S̵͕͍̾̋h̶̨̥͇̤̀i̷͙̣̩̣̳̒̽̏̚n̵͚͓͔̊y̷̧̛͉͉͎̐ stepped forward with sinister intentions.*

*But this wasn't the last trick up her sleeve, in fact the best was only to come… The eldritch mare's body started to shudder and spasm, as something appeared to move underneath the skin of her back. Hatching from her back, a huge pair of bat wings spread out in all their glory, before the giant monster took off with a flap of her wings.*

*Now flying above the crowd and everypony participating to the event, S̵͕͍̾̋h̶̨̥͇̤̀i̷͙̣̩̣̳̒̽̏̚n̵͚͓͔̊y̷̧̛͉͉͎̐ was unexpectedly singing with a wicked glint in her blank eyes.*

As @Dynamo Pad @Pinkie Pie and others that were affected by the poison joke were recovering, Discord had looked around marveling at his work. "Oh, I do love it when a plan comes together. I ran the scenario over and over in my mind, but this turned out even better than I had hoped. I admit that Shiny's sudden transformation was something I didn't quite expect, but better to expect the unexpected, riiiiiiight~?" He chuckled, before raising an eyebrow very high to @Samurai Equine Trilby. All the while, the eyebrow lifting itself so high, that it leaped off of the draconequus' face. "All thanks are always appreciated. Especially when knowing that you, yourself made what I consider to be the best Goof Off performance in all of Equestria!" He cheered, fireworks getting sent flying high into the sky and exploding. "Although..." He started as he patted the hair on his chin. "Who said I was a friendly draconequus. I'm your friendly neighborhood draconequus. Can't forget that now, after all." His eyebrow returned back in place as he gave a smirk to Trilby, while he thought he felt a sudden chill in the air. Almost as if there was a disturbance in the magical forces. "Wait a moment. Something doesn't feel quite right." He softly muttered to himself, eyes shrinking slightly at the sound of someone applauding. The source of the applause was from @Shiny Silvermoon Shiny, who was still immobilized from the steel covering.

"I thought for sure I turned everypony back to normal with a snap of my finger. Hmmm...perhaps I should try this again." He attempted once more, but stopped as the mention of magic had no effect had caught his ears. Discord thought he felt a shift in the air, but it only caused him to float a little higher than usual. "It looks like we might need to try other ways to change this form of Shiny's. Anypony got any good suggestions?" He wondered, flipping through a checklist of potential ideas, but nothing seemed to have come to mind. "Oh? Have you seen this before, little croissant? Perhaps you'd like to shed some light on this predicament of our friends." With a beam of magic being launched by Shiny, Discord would have tried to teleport the attack away with another snap of his fingers. What he didn't expect was for CatNap, who had jumped in to absorb the attack, before getting sent flying. The attack was still far too strong to be stopped completely, but it did give Discord enough time to dodge out of the way. "CatNap was a true hero jumping in light that. Of course, I could have dodged, but that was still very brave and courageous of somepony to do such a feat." He closed his eyes briefly, before opening them as if pulling the curtains on a window. 

"Is that singing I hear? Oh, I just love getting into a good musical. This calls for a song with multiple ponies! I wonder if we can do an acapella. Oh, I'd need to get the old group back together as it's definitely indeed been a while."

The big purple cat cantered toward Discord with a limp, "I'm alright actually, well... mostly alright, ouch," CatNap said, shaking his fur.

With Zecora finishing up shopping for the ingredients she needed, she stashed them away in her saddlebags for safe keeping. "It's always reassuring to find such a fine herb, now to find out what the commotion was that I hope is superb." Making her way down the road and out of the shopping district, the zebra had managed to turn the corner. Only to see a giant cat plush was knocked down from what looked to have been an attack by magic. Taking in the sight of the stage of the Big Goof Off, Zecora's jaw dropped with a gasp. "This just cannot be. It looks like Shiny Silvermoon has been taken over by poison joke, I see." Hiding back around the corner, she wondered how something like this could have happened. Had Shiny made her way through the Everfree Forest again? As she was taking note of everything going on, @Emerald Heart Emerald and @Dah Onion Eater  Ghostie had rushed back into town. She turned to see the duo running towards her, while holding up a hoof to stop them in their approach. "Be careful to not turn the corner and look around. In fear of the what truly might be found." Grabbing the supplies she had bought previously at the market, she had grabbed her tools to help mix herbs and flowers together. "Would you mind explaining what befell our friend? I hope that it'll not be too late to give them the cure that can mend." She says, hoping that the two would explain how and why Shiny turned into this form.

It caused Dynamo to not be able to walk, broke Titanium's sanity, turned MY last fleeting bits of a horn into a firework show, and turned Silky dull and colorless, it also turned Shiny into..well, this! Emerald was also affected but it seems it only color changed her eyes," Ghostie lamented

Zecora's eyes widened slightly in surprise, taking her ingredients and bowls and started mixing together a cure for the poison joke. "This sounds like quite the disaster. Hopefully this cure will help fix things quite faster." Zecora says, stopping as she glanced around the corner of the building she, @Dah Onion Eater  Ghostie and @Emerald Heart Emerald were hiding behind. Looking back, she took a breath, before sighing slowly. "I've seen this happen to Shiny once before. I hoped to never see quite a sight like this no more. It's not just her spider-like legs that are her Achilles heel. Fire and water are something to help strike fear. Giving this cure to Shiny will not be an easy task. For we must find a way for our movement that we must mask." The zebra had learned that Shiny could see from just about every which way, but with the right distraction, they could give her the potion.

Her eyes and head craning towards the source, the zebra was met with Saturn, who was leaning against the tree. All the while, chomping on a raspberry. "What kind of skills do you require or idea do you have in mind? Any and all help will indeed be kind. The last time this had occurred, I was in the Evefree. Along with many distractions from Timberwolves, other animals and the trees. With this being Ponyville, much more difficult this will be. However, given that more hooves will work together will surely be the key."

"I call it, annoyance! I simply bother her so much that she won't be able to focus on you!" Saturn announced, "I got some friends that can help," she gestured to CatNap and held out two more plushies, an orange dog and a green rabbit.

With more magic that was being used by Saturn, Zecora watched as two dinosaurs, a triceratops and a brachiosaurus were brought alongside a hoof height cat and bumblebee. "It's looks like more and more help is here. Now we need to make sure that the plan is crystal clear." Taking a look at all of the friends Saturn had brought, a plan was being formulated in the zebra's mind. "Have some of your friends reach the others friends. They'll surely bring the support with all the help they will lend." She explained, handing @Dah Onion Eater  Saturn multiple vials of the cure inside. "Take these and make sure your friends and the others acquire these vials. For these will be the key towards our grand trial." She explained, handing a vial to both @Dah Onion Eater  Ghostie and @Emerald Heart Emerald to take, as well. 

[Shiny Silvermoon]

*A realization struck @Zecora as she was giving the vials of antidotes to the others : the commotion caused by S̵͕͍̾̋h̶̨̥͇̤̀i̷͙̣̩̣̳̒̽̏̚n̵͚͓͔̊y̷̧̛͉͉͎̐ had stopped. No sound could be heard behind the wall that Zecora, @Emerald Heart, @Dah Onion Eater  Ghostie, Saturn and her friends were using to hide. A tremendous shadow suddenly loomed over them because of a large object blocking the sunlight from above.*

*When they moved their heads upward, they all witnessed the eldritch mare perched on top of the wall, watching them down like a predator about to jump onto preys. She licked her lips with her long tongue which caused saliva to fall down onto them.*

S̵͕͍̾̋h̶̨̥͇̤̀i̷͙̣̩̣̳̒̽̏̚n̵͚͓͔̊y̷̧̛͉͉͎̐ : "HaPpY BiRtHdAy!" *The otherworldly unicorn yelled with hunger.*

*Swiftly, S̵͕͍̾̋h̶̨̥͇̤̀i̷͙̣̩̣̳̒̽̏̚n̵͚͓͔̊y̷̧̛͉͉͎̐ pounced onto the group with her wings wide open, making her even more intimidating to look at. Her gigantic arachnid legs landed into the ground, while the tentacles underneath her body were eagerly attempting to catch them.*

S̵͕͍̾̋h̶̨̥͇̤̀i̷͙̣̩̣̳̒̽̏̚n̵͚͓͔̊y̷̧̛͉͉͎̐ : "hAhAhAhAhAhAhA!" *The nightmarish creature laughed frantically, during the assault on the group.*

*UNfortunately, the combined strikes of @Dah Onion Eater  Saturn Rings' animal friends weren't nearly enough to make S̵͕͍̾̋h̶̨̥͇̤̀i̷͙̣̩̣̳̒̽̏̚n̵͚͓͔̊y̷̧̛͉͉͎̐ fall. Without any sources of fire, she wasn't destabilized which made her much more in control of her movements, than before. This meant that it would require an amount of determination superior, in order to vanquish the beast.*

*As all hope seemed lost, an unexpected hero arrived to help save the day. With a loud roar, he caught everypony's attention, including S̵͕͍̾̋h̶̨̥͇̤̀i̷͙̣̩̣̳̒̽̏̚n̵͚͓͔̊y̷̧̛͉͉͎̐'s who had ceased what she was doing to stare directly at the figure on the hill. It was the tall and majestic figure of a polar bear standing on it's back legs.*

*The best way to describe him is a poorly animated photoshop of a real polar bear in the well animated world of Equestria.*

Croissanto : "Bearpolar…? You're real?" *The croissant-shaped puppet said, flabbergasted about this new plot twist. He was still laying on the partially destroyed stage.*

Bearpolar : "ROOOOOOOOAR!!! [Subtitles : I'm real when it's useful!]" *The polar bear referenced earlier in the Big Goof Off roared loudly, before charging toward the eldritch mare. He was rather sliding in a standing position, his legs not animated at all. Then, Bearpolar jumped high above the ground and, in an ultimate lack of motion from this living picture, he landed on S̵͕͍̾̋h̶̨̥͇̤̀i̷͙̣̩̣̳̒̽̏̚n̵͚͓͔̊y̷̧̛͉͉͎̐ with all his weight. It was a scene worthy of a wrestling show.*

*The otherworldly pony felt to the ground, under the weight of the animal. Now that she was immobilized once more, it was the right time to make her drink the antidote to poison jokes.*

CatNap grabbed the potion from Zecora saying "Sorry!" and shoved it into Shiny's mouth.

*Feeling the antidote being poured into her mouth, S̵͕͍̾̋h̶̨̥͇̤̀i̷͙̣̩̣̳̒̽̏̚n̵͚͓͔̊y̷̧̛͉͉͎̐'s wicked smile widened even more, revealing even more of her sharp teeth. She seemed indifferent about her defeat, or what any villain would consider a defeat. Instead, the monstrous creature appeared to be delighted, as if it was all just a silly game to her eyes.*

S̵͕͍̾̋h̶̨̥͇̤̀i̷͙̣̩̣̳̒̽̏̚n̵͚͓͔̊y̷̧̛͉͉͎̐ : "bRaVø! tHe ødDs wErE aGaiNsT yøU bUt Yøu'Ve mAdE iT! ThE cUrTaiNs ArE fAlLinG aNd My PeRføRmAnCe iS rEaChiNg iT's enD bUt, øNe dAy, I sHaLl ReTuRn! ShiNy, cOmE øUt tø PlAy Nøw..." *The eldritch mare explained with her distorted voice, before a blinding light suddenly coated her.*

*When the light dissipated itself, a more friendly figure was underneath the body of Bearpolar.*

*Shiny then shifted her attention to some remains of the blue cake batter containing poison jokes.*

Shiny : "I should eat that, before it goes bad!"
