Hey, everypony!

This is Misty Brightdawn, here to wish you a Happy October!

I hope that everyone's been having a wonderful Fall and a great October, so far!

The weather is still warm and nice, but it's been slowly getting a little chillier.

Combined with the leaves changing colors more and more, it means that more fun is to be had with the Fall season!  

With Nightmare Night happening soon, the time has come to get our costumes ready to go trick or treating!

Whether it's collecting candy and trick or treating, or having a unicorn sleepover at home, there's always a lot of fun to be had during the holidays!

In addition to fun and trick or treating, the month of October is also a time of transformation and abundance!

I remember back when I was still working alongside Opaline in hopes of finding my cutie mark and discovering my destiny.  

It wasn't until I made friends with Sunny, Izzy, Pipp, Zipp and Hitch that I felt my life transform in front of me.

I was able to work together with my friends as we stood by each other's side and worked together to defeat Opaline. 

The same can be said when it comes to family when I reunited with my father, Alphabittle.

And then, with Pipp, Zipp, and Queen Haven joining us, everything changed for the better!

Which is why I want to make October a time of spooky fun, as well as transformation, through abundance of friendship.

Fun events shall be had for everyone to take part in!

In fact, why don't you check up on this year's Running of the Leaves? Last time I checked, weird things have been happening in the forest. I'm sure they won't mind an extra pair of helping hooves, whether you want to compete, or to just have a fun adventure with friends.

And speaking of abundance of friendship, did you know that our lovely forums celebrates its anniversary on October 3rd? Now you know!

Have fun celebrating, and here's to both an awesome October, Nightmare Night and fun and memorable Fall memories, everypony!
