Where I live is in the tropics, so it's 26 degrees Celsius, but the northern chill is already starting to set in!

It is currently Spring in Australia and before even getting to summer we've already seen 35 Celsius, most of us speculate it will be a hot summer with a lot of days reaching above 40c. (not looking forward to it)

I do like Winter when it comes to going to bed and being nice and rugged up but waking up or working in the cold isn't much fun. Even still I'd like to visit somewhere where it snows in Winter.

Well, technically, it is still autumn here in germany (which is my favorite season btw). But the last days, the temperatures were never over 3°C and we had a lot of frost (especially in the night times with temepratures under 0°C) and even snowfall (but no snow on the ground). Maybe today, we could get new snowfall. 

I like winter (as long as I have not to drive with my car). I would like to have some snow on christmas, but this is really rare here in germany (especially in the western parts). I have seen more often snow on easter than on christmas.

Ahahah, oh heavens no! Here in Central Texas we don’t see much of winter-ish weather except for January and February. Cold fronts have been sparse so it’s basically just cooking in the 70s here. It’s also normally wetter… come on jet stream!!

Snow! It's so good to see you! How's everything? 

Since I'm used to hot and humid weather, I don't think summer is so bad, but you'll have to avoid going out around midday! 40 degrees is quite a lot! 

And we're two of a kind! I'm thinking of visiting the Andes. It doesn't snow in the whole region (in fact, it only snows on one mountain, lol), but I prefer colder/cooler climates if I want to sleep or just laze around

That sounds pretty cold! Do people usually wear thermal clothing or is it unnecessary? I don't know much about that!

A winter Holy Week is unusual for me! In Venezuela, it's the hottest time of the year, and many people usually take it to go to the beach, unless you're religious, in which case you just stay home or go to church!

It's colder as usual for this time of year. During December to February it can drop down to -20 C/-4F. However, just below freezing is more typical. Normally, thick cloth is enough.

It's been 60 F/15 C here in the Pacific NW. Certainly been darker lately, good bit of rain and there's some snow building up in the mountains, but still mostly comfortable outside with an additional layer on. I'm shocked that we've only had two days with frost so far and neither needed scraping on the car.

The vast majority of trees are bare and the temperatures are in the 40s F almost every day. So... Kinda? Not quite, though. Haven't seen any accumulating snow yet. Early December looks to shift into a more winter pattern it looks like, hopefully.

Yes, since Saturday, November 22nd, where I lived, there had been a sharp drop in temperatures that led to unseasonably cold temperatures, with lows around zero degrees and highs around 9 degrees, but not even exceeding 10 degrees. It hasn't been this cold in many years!

Update, they had to close one of the mountain passes temporarily because of a really bad head on collision involving 3 vehicles, and some others happened as well. Chains are now required, and it appears to just be dumping snow up there now. Nothing's changed in the lowlands.

At least you can go to the beach. ; ) ^^ Would be also interesting, chritsmas on a tropical beach. Maybe in the future. 

When you would go here to the beach in the colder time of the year, you either need a lot of clothes or would freeze since the temperatures are not that high (but high enough so that no snow falls) and the water is even colder. on the other side, there are actually events (often around christmas or new year) where people go swimming in the cold north sea or baltic sea in costumes, normal beach wear or sometimes nothing at all. But these are just a smal amount of people who either are trained in it or just using it for fun/tradition. I never did that and also don't want to change it (altough people say it is kinda healthy).

Yee. It’s already snowed a couple times here, down into the 20s and 30s for the next week. I’m sure temps will go back up to the 50s at some point in December ‘cause that’s just what the weather does, but for now it’s definitely feeling like Winter.

Shanghai’s totally winter now—it’s like 19 degrees Fahrenheit, and no snow yet. But BFC has fake snow, which is actually pretty fun! Honestly, I’m kinda looking forward to what’s next, but I miss summer already too.

Right now it's 54 degrees F and cloudy. The air is damp so it feels a bit cooler than it should. But there's no wind at the moment. I like cold temps in the winter because I get too overwhelmed by the heat all summer long. As it is we have relatively mild winters in California.

Yes, winter has already started here; the temperature today is -10°C (14°F). A lot of snow has fallen, even though there wasn't any recently. Usually, the snow starts falling at the end of autumn, and sometimes in the middle. I love winter.

Yeah. It's currently 22 degrees Fahrenheit (-5.6 degrees Celsius) here. We saw snow the Monday after Thanksgiving. Of course, Kansas can, at times, get snow as early as Halloween time.
