*As she heard somepony calling her name, Shiny Silvermoon stared down at the night guard with a disapproving expression. Her ears dropped to the sides of her head and she gave Smoky ( @SidewinderX ) an awkward smile, while apologizing.*

"S-Sorry! I didn't mean to…"

Smoky nodded, accepting the mare's apology before turning to her tea. She really hoped she didn't have to shoo anypony else off of any furniture, but with how crazy Equestrians could be, she couldn't count on it. Returning her spear to its resting point, she raised the cup of tea to her lips and took a long sip, savoring the peppermint drink. It was one of her favorite types of tea, and Trilby had done an excellent job putting it together. 

After giving a nod of greeting to the dog-like creature that had stepped up to the counter, Smoky decided to start patrolling again before she started disrupting the flow of traffic. Finishing her tea with a smile, she uttered a "Thank you!" to Trilby (@Samurai Equine) and slid the cup back onto the counter before picking up her spear and resuming her patrol. The party was in full swing now, and she needed to make sure everything went as close to 'according to plan' as was possible.

Roswell walked into the ballroom with the same expressionless look on his face but gave a little smirk at the sight of all of the ponies gathered here.

Rarity walked into the ballroom wearing a stunning new dress that was specially made for Hearth's Warming and it garnered a lot of looks from the other ponies as she made her way through the ballroom.

 

"Oh my Rarity, what a genius you are. You're gonna be the talk of the town with this gorgeous dress."

As Pinkie was bring out cupcakes and muffins to the dessert area of the main hall, she noticed Rarity, who had made a grand entrance with a stunning new dress. "Oooooooh~! Hey, Rarity! Happy Hearth's Warming, eve! That's a totally love dress! Are you super duper excited for the holidays!?" Pinkie exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear, before the stained glass swung open. Turning to the source at a break-neck pace, Pinkie was caught in both surprise and amaze as @Shiny Silvermoon had arrived at the party. As the word "party" had traveled in the air and into her ears, Pinkie gasped in excitement at the festivities. "Did someone say party!? I heard party! In which case, WOOHOO!!!!! Time to party~!" Pinkie exclaimed, pulling her trusty party cannon as the cannon fired confetti into the air. Quickly zipping away as if she teleported using a teleportation spell, Pinkie arrived behind a podium with a paper of a tree and golden stars available for other party goers to take. 

"Step right up, everypony! It's time for everyone's favorite game of place the Golden Star on the Hearth's Warming Tree! Don't be shy! Step right up as everypony's a winner!" Pinkie had called out, blinking as she saw Fluttershy appear briefly, before quickly leaving. As more and more party guests had arrived, Pinkie had taken notice that some were either dressing up in sweaters or elegant dresses. "Huh. I wonder if I should have brought a sweater. The only thing I thought to bring were matching Harmony Hearth's Warming hats. Speaking of which, I need to pass that out to everyone soon."

She looked at the phone with curiosity and decided to approach Pipp and introduced herself to her.

"Hello there, I'm Rarity."

As she was being approached by one of the party guest's, Pipp gasped in surprise as it was none other than Rarity. "Rarity? Oh, my Hoofness! I've heard so much about you! You're one of the top trendsetter's in all of Equestria! It's truly an honor to meet you!" Pipp smiled, offering her hoof for Rarity to shake. "Speaking of trendsetting, that outfit that you're wearing is truly AMAZING~! Is that one of your latest designs?" Pipp wondered, before hearing Pinkie shout out the mention of a party. Looking over, Pipp couldn't help in giggling at Pinkie's antics of a party game for everyone to play. "I'd like to get in on the fun games, but there's still one thing that I'd like to get started." Smiling, Pipp made her way back towards the Karaoke setup. Tapping the mic to check that it was working, she turned towards the crowd.

"Attention! May I have your attention, everypony? I wish to inform you all that the Karaoke section is all set up and ready to go! For those of you that wish to take party, you need only make your way over here and look through the song list. Once you've found a holiday song, or even a song that you enjoy singing during this time of year, place your name down and we'll call you up one by one! No need to be nervous and shy as it's all about joining in the fun and festivities! In case anyone is feeling unsure, I hope to kick things off with a song I think everypony knows!" 

As Pipp browsed through each song, her eyes lit up with glee as she found the song that she was looking for. Once selecting the song to play, she reached for the microphone that was resting on the stand. Once the song began to play, Pipp gave a flap of her wings, before taking off into the air. Smiling and soaring through the air as she sand to her heart's content. Once the song came to a close, Pipp flapped her wings as she floated down towards the ground, before landing back on her hooves. Hearing the crowd's cheering, she smiled and gave a bow to her performance. "Thank you, everypony! I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed that song! Now I present the microphone to you as it's your turn to take the stage!" Pipp exclaimed, placing the microphone back into the stand as she allowed others to start singing.

Snoopy sees Fluttershy quickly leaving the party. “I hope she’s okay.” Snoopy says.

[Silver Slate]

@Samurai Equine

Silver Slate stepped off the train amongst dozens of other ponies. After a long journey to Canterlot, he was relieved to finally be at his destination and partake in the holiday festivities. As he made his way to the castle, he took in his surroundings. The entire city had been decorated with beautiful displays of shiny ornaments, bushy green garland, twinkling lights, all coated in a gentle dusting of fluffy snowflakes. Silver tightened his red scarf a bit as the wind picked up a bit and quickened his pace to reach the safety of the castle walls. 

Upon arrival, the kirin quickly brushed the snow from his mane and entered the main ballroom. Scores of creatures had already started to fill the magnificent room, from all walks of life, from all regions across Equestria. He slowly turned his head, surveying the delightful scene. He spotted a few familiar faces here, including Trilby, who was serving hot drinks.  

“Hey there, old friend. Long time no see.” Silver greeted with a smile as he walked up to the counter. “I just got off the train from the kirin village, and nothing sounds better than a nice, hot drink.”

Berry had just spent ten minutes listening to a short lecture from an old pony she'd accidentally stepped on. Once he walked away, she sighed in relief and looked at her own present, smiling despite the reprimand.

"Part of the job, Berry," she muttered to herself.

She made eye contact with a pony approaching the tree with a gift. Right after, with a little white dog? Where had she seen it before?

"I hope you're having a good time today. Happy holidays," she greeted them both politely, like someone welcoming guests to a party.

 

"Welcome to the party. Would you like something to drink? I can make anything you want." Trilby says.

Trilby wastes no time and serves Snoopy a tall, frosty mug of root beer. "I always provide the best."
He looks over at the exit. "Not sure. Maybe somepony should check on her."

Trilby is confused at first, then he figures out, and almost crumbles like a jigsaw puzzle. "...Oompa loompa, doompa-dee-doo. I got a lot more hat selling to do."

Trilby thinks it over, then recalls. "Oh wait! I remember now! We met in that strange, go-nowhere town! Oh Celestia that was some time ago. How have you been? And what kind of hot drink would you like? I got anything and everything. I recommend the hot coco." Trilby says with smile.

"Excuse me." Trilby says before momentarily leaving the bar.
He walks over to the karaoke corner. "Is this event limited to Hearths Warming songs? I might not be a great singer, but I'll give it a shot."

Selecting a song, Trilby does his best to sing a song for the crowd.

"Woo! Thank you, everypony. That song was brought to you by Trilby Hatter's Headwear Emporium. And remember, the drinks are free tonight." Trilby gladly leaves the mic for the next singer and goes back to the drink station.

 

[Fluttershy 335]

Outside, Fluttershy is helping some animals to go hibernate, while she is also giving others some warm outfits to wear.

"Hmm... I wonder if I should ask somepony for help. This is a bigger job than I thought it would be. Maybe I could include some snow games to make it fun!" Fluttershy say to herself while she takes care of the various animals she can find.
